Further Poems

break me further

My own death doesn't scare me
But yours terrifies me
I pray my last breath is a sigh of relief
Sometimes I'll push you away
Hoping you'll just pull me closer
You could slit my throat
And with my last gasping breath
Id apologize for bleeding on your shirt
Id die for you, but little do you know I'm already dying
You see the girl on the outside
But if you saw the girl on the inside you'd leave to
You'd realize I'm broken beyond repair
I'm not who you think
I fake a smile everyday and you believe it
I tell myself I'm okay and even I don't believe it
I could promise you to be strong
but in reality I'd cross my fingers behind my back
I love you to death
but I'm not sure how much longer I can love you
Ive been holding my breath and trying to forget
But everytime i think back i feel regrets
So yeah, my death would be fine
But your would break me even more

Premium Memberodes to paradise now on pause until further notice

Poets create verses about Eden
And why not? Shining wonders can be made
In this paradise of green garden shade
Like the most beautiful blondes from Sweden
But when wealth reeks like an opium den
Causing visions of fair maidens to fade
Each letter’s the type to join a tirade
Of mad words drafted with reluctant pen
Conscripted lines of iambic footmen
Bid a font farewell to their loving trade
These rhymes in retrograde orbit cascade
Against injustice which rises again
Position of the universe is right
For syllables to show a little fight

Sometimes, you end up
Wasting your time finding joy
On the other side.

Further Off

Oh wife of mine
might I meet you
Might we
Might we

She a beautiful woman
with her own atmospheric
precance.
A charming glory of fondness
and glamour

As subtle as rain
and brash as the sea
a refreshing drink of water
Lady you
are too me
Ode to Love
I thank God your mine

Yielding to My Lovers Needs
She then more than eager
 to yield to mine
complaints or favors
affording time
to be together
times Lovers should treasure

Further Seasons

A yummy mother with pram is walking
to west Dulwich from West Norwood
The blind lady walks under scaffold
the gyrating lumps of bolts
gerates her white stick
and your plimsole beggar man asks for a pious 50p piece
what he can buy Lord knows!
Your street preacher with only pigeons as an audience
conjures a better day
until the expected gales up lifting
the tiles as an erstwhile punishment
for repentance

Premium MemberLook No Further

Should you need someone to lean on,
Try my shoulders; look no further.
Reach out to me from dust till dawn.
Should you need someone to lean on,
    I'll ensure all your woes are gone;
Your troubles cease extending farther.
Should you need someone to lean on,
Try my shoulders; look no further.

Further Than Down

I got taught that demons were these evil beings
Full of hate and sin
And they are but so are we
they used to be human
just like you and me
No one gave them a second chance
They all just went mad
They lost their humanity
they lost the path
They all fell down lower
into the pits of hell
Flames pilled high
Smoke acts like clouds in the sky
Ash is like the oxygen in our lungs
Just know that the most common sin we all have
It would most likely be Greed
It is easy to long for more
For better
You get worse as you go
We all want what's best
Sometimes we want it a little too much
We get it
then it gets plucked
right out of our very hands
Just out of reach
Get a grip
You can't
If I die
I want to try
To go further down
Then even the Devil himself
So that he can't reach me
as he did with my soul
Just out of reach
He can't get me now

Plants so the seas of revived resistance
 Abba Father endowed me
 further thine existence essence
 further your vision Elohim
 no mysteries hidden allow me
to be the fruit bearing vessel
no question
grow your heart in me Elohim
 all over me
missionaries feed God's children stomachs and souls
with mana rain further your vision Elohim
speak joy fill souls with your fruits of substance
 souls prosperity truth be told
Jesus are living word lives on evermore
 Hallelujah

Premium MemberWon'T Write About Age Any Further

Okay I promise not to write about age again
Seems I've beaten the subject to “death”
There's that word again it keeps cropping up
It will stop creeping up before you know it though
And I will find it quite difficult to breathe
I won't be aware then the lights go out
And then nothing...
So what will I call this state of being
A transitional state on my way to the top floor

Premium MemberUpon Further Reflection

Didn't purchase new wheels 'til age thirty-four
Down payment all of $1,500 bucks, no more
My son, ten years younger, just purchased his
Kid put down almost ten times more...

Times sure aren't what they used to be
New cars cost more than a house in Old Guinea
Bought my very first beater for 50 bucks in '72
Helped me keep the trunk loaded up with brew

Look No Further

She had always thought
‘True Love’ is a fantasy
Never easy
Finding a real soulmate
Going out with him
For a romantic date
She had earlier
Been scarred,
Her life marred
As her ‘guy’
Fell for
Someone else
And she
Could not even ask, ‘Why’
Then her lovelorn eyes
Would weep
Many, many nights
Would pass without sleep
She would seek solace
In the words
‘True Love’ is a fantasy
This went on for years
Her big eyes
Always red
With copious tears
Till........
He came along
Just slipped into
Her life
Someone long overdue
And now ......
She’s changed
Always wears a
Pinkish hue
Happiness at last for her
She whispers to herself
‘Look no further’.
