Under A Full Moon

Sitting under a full moon
I begin to think
I think about how lucky the moon is
Sitting high in the midnight sky
Not a worry in the world
I think about what it would be like to be the moon
I light up the night sky
To emit my glow and energy upon the world
Lighting the way for those seeking home
Then, I begin to wonder
I wonder what the moon sees
Does it see how we hurt one another?
Does it see the pain we go through?
Does it see me the way I see me?
I wonder what it hears
Does it hear the vulgarity?
Does it hear the prayers?
Does it hear the silence?
Sitting under the full moon
I start to watch
I watch the moon in the sky
I watch the night pass me by
I watch as the moon stares back
Just sitting under the full moon
I stare and it stares back
Emitting its glow and energy upon the world
I sit and listen
I listen to the moon tell its story
It has my undivided attention
We sit and we talk
Under the full moon

A Full Moon Oil

sky cracked
hunchback

moon spreads
her bed

window
soft glow

staging
chasing

nighttime
lifetime

coming
going

sleep tears
sleep fears

brim full
hollow

Premium Member On a night with a full moon, when the wind whispers forgotten stories

On a night with a full moon, when the wind whispers forgotten stories,
I sit by the river that flows endlessly, like my thoughts,
And I feel time dissolve, like mist under the gentle rays of morning,
I feel the silence become a song of birds lost in the horizon,
I feel the grass beneath my feet telling tales of those who came before,
And I let myself be carried by the waves of memories crashing on the shores of my heart,
Because to travel means to feel, to feel everything without limits,
To feel how every breeze carries with it unspoken desires and dreams,
To feel how every fallen leaf becomes a symbol of passing time,
To feel how every twinkle of the stars is a promise of eternity,
Because, in truth, all things are excessive,
All reality is an excess, an untamed violence,
An extraordinarily vivid hallucination, where colors explode into thousands of shades,
And I, the eternal traveler, lose and find myself in this endless flow of experiences,
Continuing to feel, to dream, to exist in this world of dreams and realities.

When the Full Moon Brightens the Sky

When the full moon brightens the sky
And dispels the darkness of night
My love sets my heart racing high
Ignites in me flames of delight
And with whispering waves of sigh
Holds me in close embrace so tight.

Dark
                Spreading
               Tiny stars
               Are shining bright

Premium Member Mulberry Trees and Butterflies

The mulberry trees are,
awaking with new life.
I am feeling my new green leaves,
coming from my many branches.
Spring is here,
showing off her beauty.
What do I see,
a butterfly house?
It is tucked beneath my many branches,
hidden in my new green leaves.
Colorful butterflies now appear,
dressed in their finest colorful wings.
As I watch I see,
beautiful butterflies dance from flower to flower.
Oh how I wish,
wish I could dance with them.
My branches waves in the cool breeze,
guess this is the only dancing I can do.
I watch them dance,
by the day's bright sun.
Then by the night's dark sky,
as the diamond stars and full moon appear.
I am blessed to be called home,
for I am one of the many mulberry tress.

Feeling The Full Moon

Projecting beauty in the window
Laying in bed watching the full moon
Waiting for the wind
Cooling my heart
Gain attraction
Tempting to dream
Hallucinating my eyes
Mesmerizing my mind
Feeling all alone
The childhood comes back.

When the Full Moon Lights up the Sky

When the full moon lights up the sky
My sweetheart sets my spirits high
Pervades my breast with warm wishes
                                  Ignites desires for sweet kisses
Makes the core of my soul to race
Lures me to hold her in embrace
Close to the bosom of my heart
Never from her breath to depart.

Lunar Calendar Full Moon Festival

17.9.2024, Tuesday,
Lunar calendar Middle Autumn Full Moon day.
The moon hangs up high in the dark but clear sky.
It is so full and bright.
I must have witnessed it,
For more than half a centenary at least,
I have been alone for nearly two decades,
But only tonight, looking at the moon
All I felt was lonely and sad.
Early this evening, I delivered to you a little bag,
Inside there was a letter which I wished you
To enjoy the traditional Full Moon festival,
The messages were written in reverse fashion,
Only you, the recipient can read it.
Because I have shown you this special trick,
It was returned without opening it,
Instead of replying to the messages.
I felt like playing ping pong with this stubborn person.

Premium Member Blame it on the Full Moon

Weird day-what can I say?
How many times can I mess up?
Can I start over, or just fast forward?
Is 8pm too early to put on my pajamas
and call the day over?

Premium Member The Full Moon

The full moon unfolds
It brightens the sky
Along with the stars
Or shinning alone

A falling star will shine
As it falls downward
A full moon brightens
The dark sky with stars

There is a face seen
It has a smile
What if it could talk?
What language would it
speak?

Pink Full Moon

The tide moves slowly in and out,
A silken breath, a whispered doubt.
The moon, from white to tender pink,
Dips low to touch the ocean's brink.

Moist stretching sands, a quiet ache,
The earth and sky begin to wake.
Eyes that open wide, yet cannot see,
A death like this I've longed to see.

The silver night, its soft embrace,
Reflects no shadow, leaves no trace.
A life dissolved in endless streams,
A soul adrift in quiet dreams.

No cry of anguish, no despair,
Just moonlit tides that kiss the air.
To fade as stars dissolve in light,
A gentle passing into night.

Oh, let me go as waters flow,
Unbound, unseen, to realms unknown.
The moon turns pink, then pale, then white,
Its beauty waning with the night.

A death so soft, a love so true,
The tide moves on, as tides must do.
And I, a whisper, lost, set free—
A death like this I drempt, I see in sleep.

One bright star

As I walked around this rusted mobile home park on a cold December night, with unpaved roads and the usual strays nowhere in sight.
I stopped to look up at the beautiful moonlight.
It was a large full moon with a lonely star nearby.
Seemed strange that no other stars were out in this clear night sky.
That single one did however shine ever so bright.

Premium Member Petals And The Full Moon

Petals and the Full Moon,
peppered with flakes of stars;
Wishes become cobwebs,
children no longer hum;
Growing up? Belief ebbs.

Petals and the Full Moon;
After achingly long,
lovers find an embrace;
Swaying in reflection,
the sea gives in to chase.

Petals and the Full Moon,
lost in the ambience
romantic wheel in drive;
Restless fuse of rapture,
a perfect match will thrive.
