Despite the sweat and tears
We keep on striving because of the joy it brings 
It stills fears

Our life 's purpose 
The sweet satisfaction that clings
The source

The peace
that always springs
Ease

Cross landscape high and low,
light candle of hope, walk fazed life through darkness grime,
let it glow.

New sun will rise,
show path of success at right time…
surprise.

Derive
pleasure sublime…
thrive.

oceans of wisdom flow
from wizened lips of world scholars to song and rhyme
make minds glow

they go often
unnoticed into caves of time
past pen

what cost
such foolish crime
lost

why fret?

frill, thrill
is it hopeless?

Light throbbing in the heart of darkness 
Shakes its density and solidity 
Dawn lengthening towards morning
Mops up darkness slowly
Shadows vanish
In its brightness  
It rubs them off the bodies 
Of men and furniture
Lion, camel, orangutan and tiger;
Light focused on cave 
Clears the obscurities  
Light of reason removes

A winter's horse and buggy ride
Despite the chill I'm warm inside
Hot cocoa and a quilted seat
A blanket and our body heat

A frosty night that's crisp and clear
There's no one else but us right here
The snow is falling, ever slight
Lit up by flame and lantern light

And if you're cold then I propose

How shall I truly know thee?
How shall I ever fulfil thee?

For love is a perception based on the giver and receiver. 
The breadth and depth is determined by so much more than can be held in one place.
Or in one person's soul.
All our love connects us through
