From time to time, I think I'm right about mistakes,
And I dismiss any other speculation, a scattering of thoughts in the wind.
I don't know what anything is, but it's precisely this unknown that frees me,
For freedom comes not from seeking answers, but from living in the question.
On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with me, a reassuring certainty.
I've never doubted anything, for nothing carries burdens.
Soon, I will transition to the absence of the presence of absence, a concept shrouded in mystery,
Meaning being there without obligations, without reasons, just a simple and pure existence.
A silent witness to the world, without goals, without chains of thoughts and desires,
A stream of consciousness unfolding endlessly, like a river of time,
Where each moment is a universe, and each breath is a verse.
And so, I lose myself in contemplation, in a silence that binds the sky to the earth,
In a dance of the mind that no longer seeks, but simply is, without being anything else,
A silent poetry that writes itself in the soul, without asking to be understood,
Only lived, felt, like an echo of a dream that needs no explanations.
It's been way too long mon amour
Since a poem has knocked on your door
Well here now, some words few but real
Describing the way that I feel
I've missed you so much since the last
Heartfelt expressions were passed
And though you have told me you do
I still like to hear them from you
From time to time, we chose to pause
Ever present stillness
Softened silence, erases flaws
That blocks heart’s blissfulness
We are still, as voids fill
Feel nectar overspill
Easy ascent uphill
Hark the love chime
From time to time

From time to time I searched for you
you found me all bruised black and blue
your sky set the sun in the west
I'm your expressions, feeling blessed.
By the rainbow, below the moon
from time to time I searched for you
my effort didn't come too late
for you, my love, were worth the wait.
You kneeling down on bended knee
proposal was a guarantee
from time to time I searched for you
Thank you, sweetheart, for my rescue.
Words exchanged during sacred vows
kiss me above my right eyebrow
thanks, my love, you chose to pursue
from time to time I searched for you.
Note to Judge:
The word "blessed" can have one or two syllables depending on how you pronounce it. In this poem I wrote it as one syllable.
There are exactly eight syllables in each line. Thank you

Sometimes at night I sit alone.Visions I see as real as home. With suited beads upon my chest. The blood soaked stains flow from my veins. The wind blows hard as the sky turns black.Men in uniforms beating my back.I can't hear anything for my head bleeds red my hearing now is silent screams as I fade off in a deep deep dream.
My Brother,
Here's to the years we knew
though it seems they went all too fast.
It feels our times together, too few;
those things that we wanted to last.
From time to time I think upon you
and our boyhood adventures together.
Each day was the wonder of something new
and in time our differences we'd weather.
Times then, so distant from times now
and I've walked on in this life without you.
To live with regret, I just won't allow
But with cherished memories as you'd want me to.
My Brother,
Here's to the promising years ahead
and into those days I carry your memory.
In my heart I know it is that you're not dead
but in that place where I know I shall be.

Time will lapse leisurely as it runs
On nimble legs through worlds unknown.
The moon is whole, the wind will still and
You can hear the whispers that they speak.
And when the hour is near
You will see,
As they forward and enter the scene.
A feeling of fear seduced by the night
That lingers in the betweens.
Was once a foe but now a new
This foes actions have been.
Foresight thwarted by a potent dream
And what was wrong is now right.
As they draw near with faces misplaced
All feelings and thoughts subside.
When they leave you understand
And time returns to the world.
Although, without a lessoned learned
It may just leave once again.
From time to time I still shed a tear
From time to time I sit back and wonder
What it would it be like to have u here
So many years ago now and I still reflect
I am thankful for the things u taught me
Learned to work hard and give respect
U always kept us grounded in reality
Not always the popular decision maker
Educating on the importance of morality
From time to time I wonder if I did right
I have made bad decisions after u passed
Having to wait for the results to see the light
I now understand some of the things u said
Not knowing the values u tried to instill
Now I realize the effort with the life I’ve led
From time to time I wonder how it would be
I still shed a tear, hoping one day u will appear
Knowing now I shared truth with u unconditionally
