From time to time I still shed a tear From time to time I sit back and wonder What it would it be like to have u here So many years ago now and I still reflect I am thankful for the things u taught me Learned to work hard and give respect U always kept us grounded in reality Not always the popular decision maker Educating on the importance of morality From time to time I wonder if I did right I have made bad decisions after u passed Having to wait for the results to see the light I now understand some of the things u said Not knowing the values u tried to instill Now I realize the effort with the life I’ve led From time to time I wonder how it would be I still shed a tear, hoping one day u will appear Knowing now I shared truth with u unconditionally
