The Easter eggs turned on the baskets in Easter Town.
Refusing to get inside, they began to throw themselves down.
What is happening? Asked a chick, a rooster, and an ugly clown.
They are going crazy, said an old churchgoing lady, with a frown.
She needed them inside those baskets, and it had to be today.
These Easter eggs were frenzied, they wanted things their way.
Tomorrow is Easter, you idiots cannot ruin this day to play!
But she could not get them in any kind of order that day.

In the glow of neon lights,
Fast food joints open nights.
Golden arches beckon near,
A feast so fast, all must revere.
Burgers sizzle, fries delight,
In the shadows of the night.
But oh, the cost, we often pay,
Health and wellness brushed away.
Grease and sugar, salt galore,
In every bite, we crave for more.
Yet hidden in this swift delight,
Are hidden perils, out of sight.
Convenience calls, we heed the plea,
Ignoring what the cost might be.
For every burger, every shake,
A toll on health, we undertake.
So in this world of speed and zest,
Pause and ponder what is best.
Balance out the fast food craze,
For a healthier, brighter phase.

It seems that our expectation,
of just how everything should be.
Does not come from experience,
but what they show us on TV.
The news reporters are scrambling,
to find anyone they can blame.
Instead of telling what happened,
they’ll play manipulation games.
They’re looking for the big bombshell,
willing to do what it might take.
To get their show the highest rates,
no one cares if it’s real or fake.
They’ve made a new reality,
must be true if it can be seen.
In full color High-Def broadcast,
across our small video screens.
But if we’d pay less attention,
to the bull crap that they’re giving.
Then maybe we just might find out,
life without them is worth living.

it was rather a glide than a street brawl
but had the same kinds of feelings in it
beautiful couple, gorgeous tango

A blunt fumbling of zippers and hooks,
traffic outside the apartment
stops being a distant sound,
becomes a pulse shared between two.
Discarded garments tumble over themselves
forever rejected, a kind of liberation,
yet we want only to be bound,
to be held hostage to this delirium.
A bed surfaces, breaking our fall.
Jostle, lever, flex,
blind movements in a broken clock.
Now the need, now the struggle,
now the mad claws
of an unquestioning passion,
while an enveloping breath
devours us both,
one gasp at a time.

"recently scenes of early life have stolen into my mind, like breezes blown ..."
Quote by _Samuel Taylor Coleridge (from his writings)
as if in a dream
glimpse sapphire waves lapping on
sea-shore..giggling girl
hold eager extended hand

Is notorious for his puke
He can't hold his beer
But he loves to cheer
So the King just made him a Duke!

FRENZY
imbued with
sensibility
liberated
by a
creative flowering
gloriously
austere
yet
overwhelmed
by anxiety &
doubt
to the
point of
obliteration
increasingly
remaking
an adventurousan
thing to do
displaying
new shapes
twisted
menacingly
simply
presented
&
aesthetically
significant
yet
never finished
they remain
terse &
enigmatic
endless
possibilities
as
a
poignant
epiphany
breathing
new life
NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

My favorite milkshake, served chilled
I reach across the table and - it all spilled
Mum's not exactly
thrilled
Well, at least the pizza's steaming hot
I bite right into the center, a tad overwrought
Water! Water!... I never knew pizza was
fraught
Ah! Dessert is chocolate cake
I eat way too much - get a bellyache
My poor stomach's dancing
The Shamrock
Shake

The brighter colors are the first to go
as everything first fades to shades of grey
then eventually, to black or white.
Valid reasons come down to yes or no
then questioning to whom it is I pray;
while saying you are wrong and they are right.
Soon, the media put on their game show
feeding biased images day on day
to fan the flames of some unwanted fight.
The bleeding hearts come out with feelings faux
"We're on the side of right," they loudly bray.
Unless, of course, the mood swings overnight.
Soon, milling crowds with placards start to grow
authored, with many worthless things to say.
A self-backslapping, partying campsite.
Among this growing pile of bull guano
the ugly truth of war is cast away
unless it's in a big news anchor's sight.

with a hop skip and a jump

The frenzy takes center stage,
where it feeds on urges
that reflect its animal nature.
Hurried, it further imprisons itself
within doubt and uncertainty.
Restless yet hopeful, it begins
the process of investigation.
Shedding light on activity,
it plays behavior on loop.
Moving further away from yearning,
it begins to immerse in quietude.
Disengaged and energy preserving,
it sets on the path to
the Ultimate Reality- a space
where impulses prove fruitless,
and the self is relinquished.
The stages of jhana are fulfilled and
Nibbana is quickly approaching.
Here, the mind relishes in equanimity.

Underneath green leaves that wave at the sun,
Goes mad activity in the environs of summer!
Fuzzy rabbits hopping along sunshine bound,
Scurrying racoons-bandits off for a heist,
Bushy tailed squirrels dancing in the pines,
As fresh scent wafts through the afternoon!
Chipmunks rush to feast on the wild berries,
As violet birds are off to feast on cherries.
Chirping crickets and buzzing bees day to day,
As the earth moves round in the familiar way.
Eager frogs leap wide eyed on a vivid quest;
And blue snakes slither in the emerald bushes.
Tortoises and turtles do a slow dance with June,
As ruby-throated hummingbirds hum a sunny tune!
