Best Frenzy Poems
Another bash
Careening dancers emerge
Frenzied
Gyrating haplessly into jigs
kilts lifting
Maurice nods
Ormond poised queerly
Rocking
stretching
Tim under vintage wiles
Xavier yawning zzs.

While we sit with our coffee and poetry,
The Fear Frenzy Makers burn the midnight oil.
Digging up lies, just anything man!
To stuff up your brain like cement in a can.
They've succeeded in making you believe the
world is ending and...
That only chemicals sold by a fracture led
pharmacy nation
Will lead you to be a health sensation.
The Frenzys have determined God to be
extinct!
You can replace him with shrooms, ganja
hash or a drink?
Try Don Lemon at CNN, inhumane and so
vicious, the latest god on the street.
Worse, get your news from social media,
Driving the country nuts!
With our Congress making a new law
(I had to guffaw)!
That we don't need lawyers with integrity,
Just let mob rule take over this country.
(Oh,yes...and everything free)
The hatred of police is growing.
The rise of criminals is so revered and
spreading.
The body count of innocents is growing,
The murder of Jews is spreading.
Frenzy Feeders are nothing more Hitler
youth.
Spying and lying on Americans who
have done no harm.
Envy driven monsters...
It doesn't matter whose life they will
ruin.
We face a very formidable foe!
Big Brother is here- following you with
your cell phones everywhere.
Cameras on streets in dressing rooms.
As poets we can alert others to the
manure being peddled by fear smugglers.
Not all of us, but a few, may remind people
hard.
That God is in charge of when the world
ends not them.
Hate to tell these scientific brains, that
God created the world not them.
We cry over the extinct animals!!
But have not a thought nor remorse
to murder a baby.
66.000 babies were aborted alone last
year!
If we support murder, we have plenty
to fear.

Political Verse
Underneath green leaves that wave at the sun,
Goes mad activity in the environs of summer!
Fuzzy rabbits hopping along sunshine bound,
Scurrying racoons-bandits off for a heist,
Bushy tailed squirrels dancing in the pines,
As fresh scent wafts through the afternoon!
Chipmunks rush to feast on the wild berries,
As violet birds are off to feast on cherries.
Chirping crickets and buzzing bees day to day,
As the earth moves round in the familiar way.
Eager frogs leap wide eyed on a vivid quest;
And blue snakes slither in the emerald bushes.
Tortoises and turtles do a slow dance with June,
As ruby-throated hummingbirds hum a sunny tune!

The word is born of wind and water
Of winters white and long
The shape and form of ode and image
The air of breath and song
Bending like a willow branch
Casting wicked spells
Twisting like a wounded tree
Fed by holy wells
Giving birth to magic verse
Bound by hill and vale
Burning like a fated curse
Reversed by force of gale
The word is born of craft and guile
Of trickery and vice
Of witchery and cunning wiles
Of sage and wise advice
Of rolling waves and winding vines
Of guarded healing springs
Of wild woods and blood red wine
And the roar of beating wings

Elegy
a malus in fruit
bearing tiny red apples
tempting the parrots
arriving en masse
emerald green twenty eights
in feasting frenzy
The "twenty-eight parrot" (Barnardius zonarius semitorquatus) found in south-west West Australia, has a black head, a green patch on the belly.

This crazed boss pushes his ole luck
Mind's frenzy ticking like a clock;
As gut's livewire wants to explode
Rush of cusses now I shall load.
My pay is a low miser’s bag
While hard job has a large tag--
Stingy, lazy boss, he’ll remain
And there's nothing left to gain.
He jeers as overtime strays late
Keeping me on my desk, ingrate!
My turn for revenge, I will leave
All projects crushed, now DIE and GRIEVE!

Whooosh! Brrrrr...icy!..North wind in a steady gale blowing hard.
Whipping up the green sea into a jade and white peaked frenzy.
The water turning to an ultramarine blue on the misty horizon
Dappled clouds echo a scaly sea pattern in the lavender sky .
The cool Winter sun shyly peeking through the cloudy canvas.
Walking with the wind a woman with a whippet braces bravely.
Facing the salt spray and a wild sea the wind carries her along.
Burnt sienna sponge corals daley with red rubber spike corals
Empty crab shells crunched under moon crescent horse shoes

Iambic Pentameter
My favorite milkshake, served chilled
I reach across the table and - it all spilled
Mum's not exactly
thrilled
Well, at least the pizza's steaming hot
I bite right into the center, a tad overwrought
Water! Water!... I never knew pizza was
fraught
Ah! Dessert is chocolate cake
I eat way too much - get a bellyache
My poor stomach's dancing
The Shamrock
Shake

The buying frenzy has begun
And every store’s competing.
You’d better hurry up; these discount
Prices will be fleeting.
For those of us who hate to shop
‘Cause holidays demand it,
It doesn’t pay to moan about
How much we cannot stand it.
If we were smart we could have bought
Our presents months ago,
But good intentions somehow buck
Against the status quo.
And so we venture into stores
Among the crowds that crush
With pledges to ourselves next year
We’ll beat the Christmas rush.

Step aside, Mr. Gore, as the world's people rebel
Despite your predictions, Earth is not as hot as hell
We took your global warnings seriously at first
But for your dire forecasts, we no longer thirst
UN scientists who'd backed up your warnings
Now say there's no evidence the planet is warming
Instead, a mini ice age raps on a frosty door
A whiteout winter lingers; snow still covers Earth's floor
Was it all a ruse to propel yourself to the spotlight?
As the blizzards wreak havoc, you've fallen from our sight
And worse, we are left to wonder why you paid no heed
To historical cycles that made your theories weak
Prehistoric species fell during a period of heat
And proof of past ice ages are preserved in Mammouth meat
So please do us a favor and stay, as now, in hiding
Your doom and gloom prophecies we are now deriding
With each shovel of unprecedented winter snow
Angry Americans shake their heads and want to know
If it was the speaking engagements and book sales
That led you to express your global warming wails
Or did corporate backers of your "green energy" business
Lead you to attempt to spoon feed us utter nonsense
Pollution is of great concern to all with conscience
But attributing climate cycles to it simply made no sense
The UN scientists now say they've lost all supporting data
Belief in "global warming" has been tossed back at ya

HELLO, MY NAME IS FORREST GUMP
PEOPLE CALL ME FORREST GUMP
IN THE FOREST, DO BEARS TAKE A DUMP?
???SMOKEY THE BEAR SAYS ?
“ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FOREST FIRES”
WHERE’S THE FIRE? RUN FORREST RUN
SO MANY TREES YOU CAN’T SEE THE SUN
WHERE IS FORREST? IT’S LIKE I SAID
SO MANY TREES I CAN’T SEE THE FOREST
OUT ON A LIMB? NOT IN THIS FOREST
TRUNKS ARE SLIM AND LIMBS ARE TWIGS
RED RIDING HOOD AND THREE LITTLE PIGS
LIVING IN THE FOREST, IT’S WOLVES THEY FEAR
WITH BIG EARS, THE BETTER TO HEAR MY DEAR
HUFF PUFFING, HOUSES ARE BLOWN IN A BLINK
HANSEL, IT’S DARK AND WE ARE LOST I THINK
GRETEL, WHAT ABOUT THE TRAIL OF CRUMBS?
SERIOUSLY? BREAD CRUMBS? OH SO DUMB
THERE’S NO SIGNAL FOR THE GPS ON MY CELL
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? WHAT THE HELL?
HOW ‘BOUT NOW? NOTHING
THREE PIGS AND TWO
GERMAN KIDS ARE
MISSING AMBER
ALERT ALL
THROUGH
FOREST

Shoals of frenzied greedy piranhas
still hungry after the lavish feast
Eyes awide on mass they stream
and crowd the streets.
Some have camped out all night
until the morning light
and the temple doors of worship
open wide
and people rush inside.
Buying anything in site
pushing and shoving
grabbing snatching
ending up in a fight
Buying things they don't even need.
So is the season of shopping and greed.
'Wonder what Jesus would think'?.

Free verse
With the flow of people in the city
the time to put reason into Christmas shopping,
has its moments of attaching a price tag
to their affection in this Christmastime.
Perhaps, that obscures the true spirit
of what Christmas really means.
Our attitudes and backgrounds
would paint the meaning in our time.
Being asked to let go of old wounds
and other things that are not of God.
We take a journey of change,
prayer and real purpose of our lives.
Looking at our biblical gift
when Christ became one of us.
He gave us a second chance
to be partakers of his Kingdom.
While we recall and relive God's love for us,
the gift of redemption and our mission;
Re-aligns us to be transformed
into a new creation.
As we enter the shopping crowds
we come to struggle with sweeping ads.
The siren call of some ad wizards
makes us discern and opt for the right tone.
Hearing Christmas carols elsewhere,
with solemnity, subtlety and beautiful melody,
there's a whiff of warmth and introspection
that highlights the season of great devotion.
