Little Flower, scent of Spring
For me have you a song to sing?
I love you Lilac do you know?
There's room still for my heart to grow
I'll fertilize 'til you arrive
Then plant you there and pray you'll thrive
I'll give you tender love and care
And hope that you'll be happy there
But if it isn't meant to be
I hope that you'll remember me
And as the years pass like a shot
Hope that you'll forget me not

They all wanted to be
“Real men”
So off into the cruel seas they go
In a big scrap of metal..
Might as well be going to their coffins..
And so they did, i never saw them again..
And when i think of them,
all i can see is the pain and
suffering they had been experiencing
I wanted to be a real man too.
So off into the fields of sand I go..
The skies were a dark indigo.
And i look down at the ground below
My feet
And I see
A small blue forget me not..
Lying dead on the sand..
And then I too, lie on the sand..
I have fought wars in my head
And wars with my gun
I have buried my friends
Because they wanted to be
“Real men”
Forget me not solider.
For i am your dearest friend

to be someone's muse- a feeling unknown!
an honor so grand but beyond my hope,
the vastness of the sea before my eyes
it's secrets can't be hold in a rhyme,
midnight's darkness- a friend for so long
now a foe, never haunted me before,
a rose by other name can be 'forget-me-not'
'sorrows, sorrows and prayers' always knock at my door,
cemetery is the home for the spirits
cemetery is the home for the memories,
i long for the "good old days"
when summer never left me alone,
now in my winter's barren land
a glittery hope is what i pray for!

"Forget-me-not are the best parting words said in silence amidst sunset's climbing shadows," ... by The Poet.
My Forget-me-nots my pretties
soon it will be my time to part
this simple life that'll be for not.
I'll idle a bit drifting for awhile
it'll be our dawn to cherish talk
won't be a tempest in a teapot.
For the life I must leave behind
is not only mine but all of you
for my life comes the afterlife.
... I prayed that each of you
be planted in Heaven's garden
there'll be no need of tending
care but merely time for talk.
I'll say words seldom heard,
REMEMBER, life there will be
forever, here is only for dying.
Why? It's rooted to thy name.
(later that evening)
Hi my pretties, my final hour
cometh, I say Good Night to
you here and Good Morning
up there. Forget-Me-Not, a
name our World to Echo ...

Forget Me Not
Forget me not when petals drop
or when succulent fruits decay,
though their energies dissipate
their existences are recalled,
on duller days when seasons change
and a brighter picture desired.
Forget-me-nots placed in a vase
sit on a pedestal table
in front of a boudoir’s window
placate the abandoned spirit
in times of melancholy stress
with heartfelt cherished memories.
Forget me not when petals drop
or when succulent fruits decay.

if tomorrow gives me
a cup of tea laced with forget-me-nots,
i wonder if my dream will come true.
today is just another weight of yesterday,
disguised in the blurred spaces of
your words kissing the air that once touched my skin
crying salt tears of your absence.
yesterday is another reminder of my
icarus fairytale sliding down clouds to
rest forever at sea
levels always rising, waiting for the day i remember my
forget-me-not

Forget me not!
How could I?
It’s Mother’s Day…
The angel toppled over
alongside your house…
Dad’s house.
I upright her and lay
fallen red rose petals
on her lap.
I snap a picture
and show it to Dad -
he smiles. He smiles, Mom!
I sit on the couch,
open Facebook
and up pops us, Mom.
I posted this photo
two years ago.
It’s us, Mom!

Awakened by Hyacinthoides’ bell,
the riverside carpet starts to swell
as tiny blooms; hues like skies;
wink open nephophilic eyes,
to gaze where roving lovers, hover;
flowers to gift to one another.
Legend says, in days of old,
a knight in armour; strong and bold;
walking with his maiden fair,
picked a bouquet to adorn her hair,
his foot slipped on that squelchy bank
and weighted down he quickly sank.
As he threw those blossoms from the pool,
she caught them in her reticule,
and raced towards the waters edge,
where he; drowning; gave his lovers pledge.
With a final bubbling, “forget - me - not,”
those flowers became a love mascot.

Only time stands in our way
There was all along a reason
One reason had always been
Love love love and don't
Forget me or I will send
Everlasting Forget-me-nots
every sun soaked Day if that is
not enough I will Please you
affectionately Incessantly
10,000 times the Fury.
not giving you time to breathe
A breath wish there bliss here
I will do all I must do, my faith
Will in all the worst hurt
Capture your forgetful heart.
If I am ever to much to forget
There would not be a memorable
Void remaining in your heart
Where I once was
Least not forget but remember
All of those spring and summer
Months we held each other
Enough for fiery fantasies to
come
True always remember to
Remember evenings in the
Garden we spent in Passion's
Embrace staring into glassy
Eyes and beautiful features of
Faces only time stands in our
Way true beautiful love you and
I always and Forever days
Forget me not your hand in mine
We will walk into the Forever
Sunshine always

Forget-Me-Not For Rico Leffanta
Poets love defines as does your photography
Screening feme fatal like it's a mammography
Blissful images erected
Virility unaffected
Observing what nature offers in demography
Hang loose Rico!

When our loved ones depart, they fly away like birds
but we remember them by writing forget-me-not words.
Once, we stood on the banks of the same flowing river,
but life courses changed, now we stand alone and shiver.
How difficult it is knowing we will never see them again.
A cause for tears to fall in our hearts like cold winter rain.
With poetic forget-me-not words we continue to express
the sorrowfully surreal emotions that we cannot suppress.
Although our tomorrows may bring sunshine into our lives,
mention of your name is a flame that lingers and survives.
You'd be glad to know our town is now called Milton Creek
and stories of you are treasured in every word we speak.

Forget me not when day is done
as darkness falls with setting sun
and April moon is on the rise
reflecting midnight’s soft reprise.
And when you crawl into your bed
and ‘pon your pillow lay your head,
please think of me as sleep arrives
for in my dreams a longing thrives.
My distant whispers call your name;
my love for you my words proclaim
as stardust rains from up above,
and beckons you to share this love.
I wonder if you think of me
as peaceful slumber sets you free
when darkness falls with setting sun,
forget me not when day is done.

I press a forget-me-not somewhere in the Psalms
For no particular reason, I simply make a memory,
She liked them, perhaps, it was for my mother, alms
I place her Bible on a high shelf so as not to wear,
And someday it will become a part of family history.
When she, nor I, is any longer inclined to read it,
I can imagine a progeny finding it without a qualm
By then, it will have crumbled into a feathery dust,
Another memory I am passing down with little trust
Nothing provokes me to do this, except I simply must.

Forget me not
here I stand bold
beautiful warm
and compassionate
forget me not for
we've had our chance
to love to dance
all over France
forget me not
my dreams are
here to live love
and to laugh
forget me not
for I am me
I am you I am we
