an angry
alliterated agony
ferociously flowing

the treacherous
tenacious trumping tactics,
tell truth tales,
of our outrageous
pompous, pontificating potus,
holding hungry hostages,
hanging hopelessly helpless;

weary worn warriors, walled
by bigotry’s belittling:
pitiful poor panicking people,
lingering like lynched lackeys;

veiled villainous vampire
dictator, dooms
democracy, demanding
america accepts asinine,
audacious aristocracy;

when will we wake
and audaciously approach
regaining revoked rights;
evil envy, eventually eviscerated?

infectious ingrained idiocy,
can’t continuously control
conscious citizens,
purposely propelling
people power,
to triumphantly
trounce this
tainted tyranny:

pretty please,
look…listen…learn…
legal legislation!

FLOWING GRACE

                     In faith’s nourishing soil
                      Fresh hope blossoms
                        And her ripe fruits
                        Drip sweet juices
		         Of flowing grace
		               That God
			         Sends
			            Us

Flowing

A stream is flowing gently in my ear,
The chirping of the birds is flowing near.

A woman's voice is flowing past my eyes,
And falling rain like voices echoes sighs.

Starlight is flowing through the velvet night,
My heart is flowing in the pale moonlight.

A glass of wine, a puff of smoke drift by,
My very life is flowing as time goes by.

I wake from sleep, my dream is flowing too,
A cat's sharp gaze is flowing clear and true.

I come back home,
A cat's sweet scent is flowing through the air,
And I am flowing there.

Premium Member FLOWING WATER

I stand by the stream
listening to the sound of flowing water.
the gentle invitation it offers
is a soft unraveling
of everything the day held too tightly.

it murmurs over stones
in a language older than sorrow,
each syllable a cool blue note
slipping into the air.

there is a tenderness in it,
a steadiness
that smooths the edges of thought
and loosens the knots beneath my ribs.

the stream keeps moving,
silver-bright, unhurried,
teaching the me
how to breathe again.

and as it trickles and flows,
its gathers calm around me~
a quiet presence
that feels like being held
by something patient
and endlessly kind.

Premium Member The Flowing River

She is certain that life is a fashion show
and kisses are the flowers of love in bloom,
but the boy she likes does not seem to know
the difference between Prada and Fruit of Loom.

He looks at her and sees only eyes like fireflies,
and lost in the shadow of her soft moonrise
he does not notice what she likes to wear ~
But, oh! The flowing river of her golden hair!

Keep going

Keep going,
Blessings flowing,
Inspire preaching in sunshine or snowing.
Leaning on our Lord, He's bestowing,'
Grace divine,
Healing thine,
And mine......

Flowing like sunrise light
and moonlight combining, to become love light
to my sight

shining for me~
always shining to give insight
to me~

always
the pathway’s bright
gaze

flowing like sunrise light
always shining to give insight,
gaze!

Premium Member ECHOING THE DREAM AND OVERCOMING: A FLOWING TANKA TRIBUTE TO MARTIN LUTHER KING

ECHOING THE DREAM AND OVERCOMING
(A FLOWING TANKA TO DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING)

It’s Doctor King’s Day;
Let’s give him echoing praise:
Nourishing The Dream:-
Through today’s nightmarish threats,
Let’s ensure the Dream’s coming:-

King’s voice echoing
Throughout Sisyphean trials,
We shall overcome:-
We’re as the waxing moon:
Moving onto fulfillment:-

Although King is dead,
His dream streams reality:
Deeply canvassing:-
Oh yes, dreams do become true;
Dying, he canvassed his will:-

On that balcony,
Where King was freely murdered,
A deep canvas echoed
From that balcony-mountain:
“I’ll be gone, but you'll get there.”

Martin sowed a dream;
Nightmares are not to be reaped:-
You reap what is sown:
We’ll reap from Martin’s garden;
Not from Donald’s plowed cesspool:-

Reaping King’s harvest,
Up the mountaintop we go:
Our eyes on the prize:-
Our Drum Major echoing,
We shall [indeed], overcome:-

Premium Member CHRISTMAS'S GREATEST GIFT: A Flowing Tanka Litany

CHRISTMAS’S GREATEST GIFE
(A Flowing Tanka Litany)

Come, lend me eyes' ears
As I share the truth of Love’s
Real celebration:
The glorification of
God’s greatest gift giving:-

With waters of love,
Let us rainbow our lives:
Reflecting oneness:-
Like the onement of night’s sky,
Let’s glow in onderfulness:-

Like the moon reflects
The shining light of the sun,
Let's reflect God’s Son:
Blessed Love brightly glowing;
Its Trinity enlightening:-

This allegory,
Must become reality’s
Earthly way of life:-
And let us be the parents
Of such glorious birthing:-

Nourishing this birth,
Let’s raise up equality,
And balanced justice:-
Indeed, let’s be grandparents
Of Divine Wisdom’s guidance:-

Gift wrapped and cradled;
God’s gift of humanized Love:
His Spirit—in Christ—Born:-
This Christmas, let us reflect
God’s gift of true birthing love:-

Give God’s Greatest Gift:
Love, wrapped and bow-tied in peace;
Cradled in our hearts:-
Merry Christmas, my love ones;
Thank God for His greatest gift:-

Grief is flowing slowly like a new bottle of Heinz catsup
Will have to get out the knife to get it to leave

Upstream, Downstream

Time is a river or so it is said
forever flowing to the sea
it knows where it goes
and with no guarantee
either sink or swim
in our own special way
we all test the waters
each and every day
there are some who do need a push
and they may lose or win
yet I will always go out on a limb
hold my head up and jump right in
without any second thoughts
unafraid to get my feet wet
altho' I can count on being caught by the current
there's no such thing as a safe bet

FLOWING BEAUTIFUL SAD TEARS OF JOY

In keloid memories of supreme love,
Tears of grief and joy flow together,
Reflecting beauty even in death:-

So, be not proud, ole death;
Present tears of your grief,
Now stream as one
With tears of
Treasured
Moments
Of joy:-

Hey, only the body dies;
The spirit lives onwards:
In onderful oneness
Of keloid memories:-

Premium Member Thoughts Running Free 5

Most of us have heard the quote,
“as a man thinketh so is he.”
Thoughts therefore are a part of creation.

We were created to have purpose in life.
Our thoughts effect what we become here on Earth.
As created, we are our authentic selves by the thoughts of the Creator.

To successfully meet the ultimate challenge in life,
we must align our thoughts with the thoughts of the Creator,
or just acknowledge the spirit within us and accept ourselves as created.

Ultimately, we are our worst enemy.
Many of us think we know better than our Creator,
what we are, what we want, and how we should live our lives.

I was given freewill by my Creator,
without his guidance, I don’t want it.
I give it back and acknowledge him in all things.

I’ll follow the voice of the Spirit within me,
align my will with the will of God my Creator,
and be who God intends for me to be.
