Flowers
Flagrant Inspiration
Spring rains soft
Love strolls
Black death

Dancing
Butterflies singing
Life a flutter
Songs only beginning
Black Death

Frolicking gardens
Beer flowing in fountains
Youth teases, curves and tinsel
Three angels in the corner, sleeping
Black Death

Tranquility
Softer than feathered pillows
Peacefulness
The final glimpse through wrinkled curtain
Black death

Rose’s red
Ring around the rosie
Skipping glee abounds
Yet over there in the closet
Black death

The path in the forest
Dark and misty
Winding and twisty
Maps hold no comfort nor key
Black death

The last
The final
The end
Inside the darkness

Until.........

Premium Member A Beautiful Truth

I listened as you spoke
a beautiful truth
in my soul I said amen
lovers love, when all seems lost
poets capture it with their pen

When I'm filled with sadness
and my heart feels deaf
words are magic that you bring
these soundless words on a page
are what cause my heart to sing

I breathe your unseen breaths
my lungs filled with air
you cradle me in your dreams
silver filling the night sky
love flowing to me in streams

You think you dance alone
on a pure white stage
until you're offered a hand
then the magic comes alive
the stage is yours to command

Premium Member I Know She Does Not Think of Me

I know she doesn’t think of me
As I think of her in kind;
Like gentle rain on flowers dancing
Easy on my mind.
She doesn’t know what I don’t show so
Deep within my being;
This feeling of forever-ness
And loveliness I’m seeing.
The way she walks, talks and whispers
Softly like a breeze;
Flowing like a river sweetly
To the wistful, waiting sea.
Perchance she does not recognize
The way I turn within
Into someone other than
The man I’ve always been.
From day to day and year to year
As clear as mirrors tell;
Until she looks into my eyes
And casts her magic spell.
As real as any dream comes true
And hatred has no bite;
I’m sure she feels the way I do
As sure as wrong is right.
Dare I say she’s mine today
Without more than wishful hope;
To touch her hand and understand
I’m up against the ropes.
With blood stained cheeks from restless sleep
Deep down on the canvas floor;
Where I lie dying and see her flying
In my mind forevermore.

The Fountain of Living Waters flows,
Ready to quench our thirst,
Why do ye hew out broken cisterns?
Broken cisterns that burst;

Drink from the Fount and be satisfied,
It will become a well,
Water springing to eternal life
From your being will swell.

Flowing like a river, swift, gentle
Lifting hearts with godsends,
Soothing with absolute forgiveness
Kindness’ ever defends

Drink of His life, His light, His sweet love
Know the meaning of grace
Silence every doubt with His promise
Feel His perfect embrace

Jeremiah 2:13 - For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

John 4: 13,14 - Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

They were stoned out of their bodies and mind at Stonehenge

Climbed over the fence and enjoyed the Cromlech’s shadows

Razor wire would not prevent their midsummer night dream

Of being one with the moon which spilled light into their souls

Eclipsed by ultimate pleasure the couple drugged into paradise

Troubadours of romantic languages settled for tender rebellion

Moss never grew on rolling headstones as they gave it their all

Cunning tongues played a frolicking intro as an owl watched in awe

It was the year 69 on their own personal highway to witches' delight

‘Can’t see the broomstick but we must make love and longing grow’

This was the bosom of nature and he caressed her cusped breasts

Mother Gaia approved pushing and pulling like a sweet tidal stream

The Northern Star polarized free flowing passion and applauded

Changed position as they relived an ancient harmonious fantasy

Nude pastures appeared to suggest psychedelia was clear vision

When midnight oil burnt fire on soft skins joy and lust they glowed

Like a thousand candles on the shrine of togetherness and release

One more revolution sated their quest from penultimate shackles

Liberated from convention they convened and contested the norm

Of missionaries of doom freed from their ancestor’s firm prohibition

When Juliet and Romeo warmed to rays of a new dawn’s allusion

Exhausted and yet fresh in morning glory and dew’s nascent nurture

They had planted one single seed in the womb of sheathed time

One parameter’s barb though had pricked their insane protection

They called her Shantelle meaning stone and doped they had been

Experience

Unique is who you are,
The star of your own show,
Casting a shadow,
To help you grow,
Flowing with the unknown,
Learning from what's shown,
Blown chances,
Are dances with the wind,
You begin again and again,
Until you finally win,
Individually intertwined,
Designed by the divine,
Your always doing fine,
Shine brightly,
Lightly feel your way around,
Ground your machine,
Intervene between the unseen,
And who you are being,
Seeing truth come to be,
Understanding reality,
Expanding really far,
The power of a star guides you,
A unique view,
Just for you,
The individual source works through,
The proof in who you are,
The star of a show,
That's created as you go,
Know your role,
Control your emotions,
An ocean of possibilities,
Lies wide open,
No matter what you've chosen,
Gets woven into your story,
The glory of eternity,
Entities with identities,
Dance endlessly into experience,
A unique chance to advance,
Into the expanse,
Expanding ,
Then landing again,
You keep going until you win.

The Biting Pill

A star is in the making, hopeful and joyful,
Digital as it’s said, ready and set to go,
Dwindling in the spirit, rising but shaky,
A pill is fixed on the lips, slowly sinking in the mouth,
Substance abuse really, a bitter pill in our midst.

The pill is biting slowly, the pill is surely killing,
Having no boundaries, considering no gender,
Changing a hero to zero, from a leader to a failure,
Education will now be history, hopes will sure go down,
Risks will be so high, and ooops! life will surely sink.

Some will give them names, to hide the bitter truth,
The biting pill for sure, is here to steal and kill,
Separating from the visioners, fixing in the perishers,
Bitter will never be better, letter Z will never be A,
The substance really biting, hurting and hitting hard.

The star is making headlines, loosing all the lines,
Stammering and staggering, moving back and forth,
The pill will now be flowing, slowly down the throat,
Biting like a serpent, as it flows down to the belly,
The liquid is so lethal, blinding and even killing.

Shouting and loosing manners, the fruits of the taking,
Dirty mind and dirty self, cleanliness will never mind,
Highs will now be lows, determination will be frustration,
Zoom will now be doom, the visions will be rebellion,
All will now be useless, rise up and see the danger.

Let not the pill on your lips, sink down into your mouth,
Spit it out and know for sure, life will be assured,
And the liquid so lethal, drain it out of your mouth,
Stop and stop the danger, that threatens our future,
And in oneness and in faith, we clear the biting pill.

Premium Member A Lovely Unicorn

Love is so much and so little
Big blue moves to prove one is true
Donating a kidney or other organ
Or little thoughtful green gestures
Being there loyal and true holding hands
But in my life love is a unicorn
Running wild and free
Not limited to this world
Colorful and magical because
Two hearts beat as one
Galloping uninhibited anyplace
It is like having your own island
With everything you need upon it
Until you have it you don’t know
How limited you are
Love knows no bounds
Like the unicorn with wings
It flies above ordinary human things
Love of a child man woman or pet
Love of a hobby or dream
Is inspiring
So a kiss is like a lavender love letter
A hug is like a plush purple poem
Intimacy is the touch so strong
It is like making music with long
Flowing melodies from each heart
Soft and hard graceful and sharp
Changing growing never boring in dark
Each one reach one and never
Is there a note that is without hope
For we live in hopes of being loved
Yet we can love despite never having it returned
The unicorn will always be a myth
To those who have not had love
Transform them and show them
You are someone’s unicorn in love.

The sun slides down the crimson sky.
I watch the shadows on her face.
The sea is calm, the seagulls cry.
The sun slides down the crimson sky.
My hand is resting on her thigh
Below the silk and braided lace.
The sun slides down the crimson sky.
I watch the shadows on her face.

The evening star comes out to see
My love who tempts with warm caress.
The moon is chiding, "Let them be".
The evening star comes out to see
The hands that bind eternity;
They stray beneath my flowing dress.
The evening star comes out to see
My love who tempts with warm caress.

There is no rush, the night is long.
We know that time is on our side.
An understanding to prolong.
There is no rush, the night is long.
Controlling feelings that are strong;
We know that they won’t be denied.
There is no rush, the night is long.
We know that time is on our side.

The tide of passion ebbs and flows
Like ocean swell, and then recedes.
His ardour for fulfilment grows.
The tide of passion ebbs and flows.
For full release my body pleads.
He sends me high; he makes me glow.
The tide of passion ebbs and flows
Like ocean swell, and then recedes.

Desert Tears

Desert Tears

Vast reservoirs of desert particles
Desert tears are sand grains lifted on the wind
They cry out to fill dunes to capacity
Pyramids of tears paying homage to the dead
The ghost white bones of old stand alone on the land
Sand fills every crevasse of their souls
Bleached white in sun light
No one is there to cry for the lost and gone
No one is there
The desert void saw to that with emptiness
Helped by an indifferent sun, its only friend
They dry the land together, gather up their dead
Count every bone down to the soul
Stretch them out along the miles
Sand pours out tears like rain
Stings the eyes that cry
Cuts like sharp particles on the skin
Lost in storms along the way
Heads down, dejected
And with the wind, sojourners disappear like magic
Lifted to infinity and out of sight, never seen again
Desert tears mimic nature flowing out
Pretend to be rivers of real water to get it right
In disguise as a mirage, under the soulless quiet sun
