Do we desire to live an impactful life,
To leave a legacy that would bless and shine?
Then let us yield to Christ’s gentle choice,
And surrender all to His will divine.
Our call is to be tender, to be true,
To walk in mercy, mild, and childlike trust,
Be gentle, sweet, in all we say and do,
With willing feet, be helpful, kind, and just.
For He gives peace amid the fiercest storm,
At His Word - “Peace, be still” - the winds obey.
His voice still calms the turmoil, makes hearts warm,
Though fear may rise, stay close to Him today.
Upon that Cross, He bore our sin and grief,
Now He intercedes to bring us peace and abundant life.

Children of the Moon
They go with the tides
It goes with their mood swings
In their shell’s where they hide
They nurture and protect
To a motherly effect
The crabs of the sea
They clip their enemies
So don’t ever doubt them
They’re truly precious gems
They make the fiercest friends
They’re loyal lovers til the end
June and July babies galore
The kind of people everyone adores
Treat them kind and then you’ll see
They’re the best people you’ll ever meet

Love is a complicated feeling, they say,
Understanding its depth isn't like child's play.
But isn't love as simple as breathing, I ask,
Who knew that fate was planning a cruel task.
Love is liberation, salvation, they say,
But what about the ones drowning in gray?
What about the feeling that you could taint someone pure—
Their charm, their smile, their allure.
Love burns, love scars, they say,
But what can the shattered souls say?
How to explain that the broken can't be mended by the kind,
Because their fiercest enemy is their mind.
Love stories of forever and beyond, they say,
But some sit and watch the unfolding of that play.
Those are the ones who aren't sure about their days,
Because they are lost in an eternal haze.
May all the broken souls find love, I say,
But I know their road to love isn't child's play.
They carry the guilt of the purity they slew,
And unfortunately, that guilt drowns them too.

Kindred Spirit
Mirrored reflections ingrained in our fate ,
Her thoughts shining inward designed to sedate ,
Heart beats sings softly with thunderous tunes,
Storms infiltrate morning as we strive to assume,
Relentless intentions meant to keep us immune,
We stare at the full moon it’s light our cocoon.
So travel so softly & reach for the stars ,
Our fiercest intentions as viewed from afar ,
The timely demise of what we hold dear ,
We look to the cosmos to explain all our fears.
God’s ongoing redemption of our actions & cost ,
We pray to recover all that’s been lost.

Our journey is long, so be strong,
our resolve firmed by the Om gong,
that thus thinning out the ego,
divine aligned we do no wrong.
Let love laced be the seeds we sow,
seeing God in our fiercest foe,
poised as awareness self-aware,
free from desires, our thought flow slow.
Once with the vibrant void we pair
and ego cravings we outstare,
starved of attention, it soon dies,
light of Self shines, naked and bare.
We see the truth with our own eyes,
reality mind cannot size,
completion beyond space and time,
transcendence beyond scripture’s lies.
One with oneness, we hear love’s chime,
heartbeat of God, a sublime rhyme,
a golden globe, in which we merge,
that higher peaks we may then climb.

after still I Rise by Maya Angelou
They said, "too loud, too wild, too much"—
so she learned to burn with a softer touch.
But thunder lived behind her face,
and silence wore her fiercest grace.
They carved her worth in smaller space,
then crowned it "grace" to know her place.
But she was made of deeper things—
not ribbons, rules, or borrowed wings.
She didn't rise to please their gaze,
or fit inside their staged displays.
The ground they gave was false, contrived—
so she rewrote it just to survive.
Now every step is storm and flame,
they whisper wild when they say her name.
But she's not theirs to dim or tame—
She rose. She roared. she burned the game.

Surviving This Thing Called Life
Anxiety coils in my chest,
A tightness I can’t name,
Whispers of doubt,
Cold fingers tracing my every breath.
Fear crouches at my doorstep,
A shadow that never leaves
It waits, it listens,
It tells me I am not enough.
Worries like a river,
Constant, unyielding,
Carrying me to shores
I never meant to reach.
I try to trust the world,
But the echoes of betrayal
Ring in my ears,
Each step a question,
Each smile a mask.
I am trying
Trying to find the balance
Between hope and survival,
Between wanting more
And fearing the worst.
I wake each day
And hold on to the smallest things:
A breath, a moment of calm,
A laugh that breaks through the fog.
I remind myself
I have survived this far,
With trembling hands
And a heart that still beats.
I am learning
That it is okay to be afraid,
That even the fiercest storms
Can break against a soul
That refuses to be drowned.
This life
This endless, aching life
It asks me to keep going,
And I do.
I do,
Even when it hurts.

The Two Little Cubs: A Quest for identity.
(A Cautionary Tale)
Two little leopard cubs
One shy, one bold,
went out to play
in the wild wide world.
Bold so bright -
Life a big adventure.
Shy so quiet-
Life a no go venture.
Played games together-
Shy learnt from Bold,
Rough and tumble
Not always gentle.
Which one do you think escapes
the focus of real danger?
Hidden out of sight...
Aqua Marine Musing again...
31 March, 2025.
True story captured by a wildlife photographer.
Lions are the fiercest of enemies for leopards. They attack and kill leopards without hesitation. The more adventurous cub, not yet
fully experienced in life was killed by lions. The "shy" cub escaped... To live another day.
Reminds me of Proverbs 22:3
"The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself.
But the I experienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences..."

The Universe presents its toughest tests
To its strongest warriors, who stand the best
Not for the faint of heart, but for those who can face
The fiercest battles, with a steadfast grace
For it knows their strength, their courage true
Their ability to rise, after falling anew
It pushes their limits, their will, their soul's might
To refine their spirit, and bring forth its light
Through trials and tribulations, they find their way
Through the fire and the storm, they emerge anew each day
Their scars, a testament to their inner might
A badge of honor, for fighting through the night
The Universe puts its toughest battles, on its strongest soldiers still
For it knows they'll rise, and its cosmic plan they'll fulfill.

Daphne’s Gift
Daphne births winter magic
When other flowers hide
Dainty nosegays, so fragrant,
They send early valentines.
She smiles in winter
Through the fiercest storms,
Scent of Heaven’s smile,
Gossamer grace enchants snowflakes.
Sultry season of snow
Melts with winter sighs
As daphne exhales poetry
Through the winter’s vertigo.
One brave little flower
Blooms in frigid hours -
Daphne lifts the heart
With her selfless gift.

I waited within the gaze of darkness
I found you there,
A midnight sun blazing on my internal horizon
Illuminating the contours of my inner world
Quenching my arid soul like a desert oasis
Your hand in mine,
A granite foundation solidifying my core
Blasting through the concrete barriers of my heart
A golden glow as radiant as the dawn's first rays
A shimmering reflection that transmits
From the depths of your crystal blue eyes
The deepest love, as vast as the cerulean skies
An empowering revival like the fiercest ocean tide
A rush that pours like the crashing of a waterfall
Fulfilling the depths of my once wounded soul

you say
you are cold
from loneliness
i say
your laughter
is the fiercest fire
that warms
my whole being
your struggle is
to see yourself
as i see you,
light, love, laughter, peace –

Dear Jesus,
Please hear my prayer… I’m seeking Your grace, Your light, Your way,
Through the darkness, through the seas of endless need,
Through the silent fears, through the pain that so often appears,
Through the fiercest shame, through the worries that remain…
Even though I don’t know what to pray, my precious Savior, I’m asking You
To please hear what my heart must be saying, what my soul is praying,
Listen to the rhythmic truths, the quiet words, the distant pleas… listen,
Please, find a way to make hearts change, to send us Your grace, to stir our faith….
Please, Jesus, hear my prayer, wherever life brings me, wherever I go,
Just know, precious Savior, You are my only hope! You are the reason I can know
Whatever comes, be it day or night, in the shadows or in the light…
I believe that YOU will see and You will give me what is best for me….
I love You, Lord and You know that I believe…
Whatever comes, You’re the answer I need,
You’re the hope, the faith, the love that I see,
Bending down to pull me to my feet,
Bending down, to whisper Your forgiveness through me!

I am not a robot!
(What robots likely say)
Like hetero’s fiercest advocates
who sudden turn up gay.
I am not a robot!
How will we ever tell?
A robot might could sniff it out…
That is, if robots smell.

oh how I love that fiery fire
your iris eyes, alive with ire
enuf to snuff an angel choir
those put-out pupils glaring
with rage to age the staring
such change in colors when irate
whene’er the air’s just shy of hate
from green, to hues of blues or slate
you warm, with exclamations
my hot-thought fascinations
soft anger brings your blood alive
a queen bee, seething in her hive
the one crazed gaze I long to dive
and swim it’s brimming power
midst glares with daring, dour
I prize your coquette smile, ‘tis true
but how your ogle boggles, too
so dear, is each last leer from you
through all your fiercest fashions
your zest is dressed for passions
folks may not understand just why
I’m shook, each look, your evil eye
I don’t quite have the heart to try
to tell them what they’re missing
with each dire glance, dismissing …
that fire they could be kissing.
