Gorgeous dapper Halloween Tom is pussy footing around.
Smitten feline kitties are thinking he is marriage bound.
They flip their fluffy full tails as they walk through the alley.
The most outrageous hunter is Garbage Dumpster Sally.
Why do they call him Halloween Tom asks a current spook.
Think it might be his name, says a ghoul who is a kook.
Are there any new things to Count? Dracula asks them.
Maybe in the spring says Sally as Tom takes after Slim.
Dearest kitty, you drank my wine last night.
No wonder, you avoid the bright sunlight !
I shall make a small ice bag, for your head,
Your petite, waif-like body, feeling half-dead.
To Felines Anonymous you will now go.
For you see, my Kitty,…….I do love you so!

From wild to domestic, these fine creatures of our world
Exhibit such great attributes, I cannot help but
Love them all, especially a fluffy one curled
Irresistibly up in my lap and purring! I can’t get enough of that.
Nice but naughty, these special pets can be
Entertaining and so cute. A small, sweet cat
Sure means the world to me!
My brother has a mountain lion
Prowling near his street,
A cat that on a morning walk
You wouldn’t want to meet.
He lives up in the mountains, though,
So people understand
That animals like that will roam
All over on that land.
My son received a police alert
A bobcat has been seen
In his suburban neighborhood
Where bobcats don’t convene.
The warning said to check that your
Garage door’s not ajar
Or you may find a huge surprise
When climbing in your car.
It’s strange my son and brother
In such different habitats
Have been linked by sudden sightings
Of these most unwelcome cats.
peaceful, ever sweet,
magical sounds, soft belly,
brings serenity.

My cat, Irene, on the top of my couch sat.
Her window to the world,watching nature in action.
Suddenly, beneath her window, a lovely Tortie cat.
But when Tortie saw my face, flight was her reaction!
How distraught I was that I frightened her away!
Irene, my cat sneered at me with displeasure.
Next time, I won't their contact sway.
Cat communication, the purest, observation a human can treasure!

Felines with natural cattitudes
haughty, prissy, full of aloof and disdain
show indignant behaviors with regularity
Being high strung, anxious, and pouty
has been inbred and ingrained.
They can go from happily purring
To full out attack mode in an instant
Holding grudges? Yes, they are terrific at this.
Punishing their owners until the right brand of catnip
or the right color cat toy has been dangled in front of them.
Fluffy full or fine, my kitty-cat babies are fur lush soft
Ever kept styled with cutely rude contortions for sandpaper
Licks that make fur perfection which my cats often wish to
Include me with tongue tickle love giving me giggles ~
Nudged cat kisses are delivered as head butts to
Express their unconditional love that seeps my heart
Saturated with gratitude for my precious cat's sweet love.
our siamese cats
big beautiful glass eyes stare
with a hunters stance
as most house felines
she was bred a kitten type
will play hunt no end
loves spiders bugs mice
anything that walks crawls flies
moves or not its bait
Crazy cats everywhere,
Everywhere they crawl out from.
From the cages to below tables to just about anywhere they can pop out of like a magician’s dove.
Dove infestation as nobody seems to know the large feline sum.
We’re just peasants in their mighty lair,
Lair in which we’re servants for they are not dumb.
Dumb is but the opposite of cats, for they’re like Gods from above.
Above our heads waiting to pounce and scratch us numb.
Whatever they want they get without even a prayer,
Prayer is not for cats to do but for us to do for cats with a hum.
Hum an obeying tune for cats know we’re full of love,
Love for the cats as they are all mini Gods, not just some.
Cats are curious beings, both in behavior and as a species. You never know what to expect as each one is different; a diverse species with some similarities. All cats teach us to take time to play but, their interests are a huge spectrum; no two are alike, not in color or behavior. If humankind ever cloned one, it would be quite a disservice to the feline species, as diversity is an asset to them.
Felines great charms lay
With their uniqueness and play
It makes life a thrill.
A pair of reposing
Arabian princes,
She calls Vladimir
And retarded Cat,
Are purring and pawing
In the soft domain
of her loving lap...
A distant admirer
Pets his intrigue,
A half eaten heart
Surrenders and dreams.
Oh felines of feeling
Closeness is surely
Better than cream...
Feisty, flamboyant, fastidious
Elegant to a fault
Lord of their wild domains,
In our homes, spoiled rotten ;
Never a dull or sullen moment
Each one leads to another
