One of mine just hopped on my lap. Have to go, time for petting...and if I don't use both hands, he feels slighted. So, the keyboard must wait. Love your little gem of a post. Can relate.

Doing better, Jo. Thank you for remembering the great crash. I love dogs, too. But prefer felines. Have had 22 in my lifetime. Each, has their own personality. PS had three dogs as well. Pangie xx

A sweet haiku, Pangie! I love the magical sounds cats make. We have adopted 4 cats in the last year: 2 older cats aged 9 and 3 and then just recently two kittens aged 4 months! They all have their own personality and keep us on our toes! Blessings, Kim M

Peaceful indeed, Pangie! My dear old cat Jeff is such a great companion and loves to have his belly rubbed. I much prefer cats to smelly, barking, slobbering mutts.

Looks you and I are the only cat aficionados here.)) Irene and Jeff provide enormous comfort to us. Purring and rubs are great I find cats to be very centering friends. Pangie xx
