Being a dad
Becoming a father
Cherishing their children’s events and accomplishments
Providing discipline
A voice with advice
Happy and sad moments of time
Responsibility most high
Sometimes a father is like a feather
Cushing from the falls and disappointments
Center of attention
Proud, Admiring and establishing dad
Seeing their offspring growing from kid to adult
Children taking on the legacy of the father’s name
Always heartfelt
A father’s job carried out
Happy to say
Happy Father’s Day
One early evening, two piskies (a male and a female) were under a tree...
Pi: Where are you going?
Po: I want to see what's behind the bonfire
I see from afar!
Pi: I was there earlier! There are small and
young, good spirits playing around enjoying
salt waters and warm sands.
Po: Really??!!! Is there something else?
Pi: Yes. I saw an image made of sands... and it looks like you!
Po: Why me???
Pi: I heard them say, "HAPPY FATHERS' DAY!"
Father’s Day

Miracle Man
Fatherhood is much more
than planting a seed,
An occasional visit
or some meaningless deed.
Many men can be fathers
while only in name,
Far fewer become DADS
an everlasting shame.
Memories of some fathers
are interred so deep,
That only on Fathers Day
do they ever creep.
Today, I reflect on my father’s life
happy for the course I’ve taken.
Thankful He gave me life and name,
but my day won’t pass unshaken.
I hope today is a happy day
but too many will find it sad.
Resurrecting memories of a father
who never became a DAD.
Happy Father’s Day!
I Loved You
Falling in love is wonderful.
Staying in love impossible.
Romance we followed a dance
we end up forever in a trance.
Happy Father's day, dear dad.
You left. We're bitter not mad.
Sitting at the edge
Fire lights flickering by my face
Eyes frozen shut
The coldness comes through my dangling foot
Moving my head
It s c r e a m s
I escape without you
Only you were supposed to be here-
In the light
It swept you u p
Into the light
Y o u went into the l i g h t
Seeking your heart
At the edge
Wailing
Into the darkness
Coldness stifles the pain
Cold over takes my pain
Rocking back n forth
The coldness numbs the pain
Bring the bottle out
It can’t be found
Coldness stifles the pain
Wishing all fathers a Happy Fathers Day. Included are Fathers that for some
reason or another your Son or Daughter on this Special Day failed to call you and Wish you A Happy Fathers Day, from the bottom of my heart I know your pain. So for those that are feeling down because you were neglected today, don't lose hope. Know that if you felt hurt, it is because you are a loving Father, and you love your child. God heal your hearts... and may the Lord give you comfort, on this Special day Honoring You...

Eddie, could not have had a father better than you.
Think of all the places you took him, including to the zoo.
It’s mind blowing for me, to just count the hours,
That you spend at baseball,(I am glad for you.when it showers!)
You’re teaching him the Christian life that many Fathers, sadly do not.
And, thus I chose this picture to show the love you and Eddie have got.
Your love of baseball and teaching him I think he’s really quite hot!
So I am just popping in to say, Butch, that you have a very happy Father’s Day.
And I just know that everything is coming with many blessings..your way!

Dedicated to Butch, my outstanding Son-In-Law!
I join all father’s on this and every Father’s day
hoping that we….
will always try to be
as extraordinary
as our children imagine us to be.
Bumblebee dad hugs his new hammock, a bit lazy
Rolling on his tummy, for a well-earned sleep
Baby bees buzz around playing like crazy
Jumping back and forth, playing tag and leap
It’s father’s day! The kids buzz back and forth to each other.
Wanting Daddy to jump up and play, complaining to mother.
Let’s let him rest, she says. He has earned a bit of today to relax.
Daddy’s eyes close, he leans into his hammock, happy to the max.
One
There was only one,
worm in the can.
He was all alone
but knew his fate
was sealed.
Born and bred to catch fish.
Alive for a reason,
and a purpose.
Fate, to dance at the end of a line,
and end his time
on this earth.
How?
As breakfast, lunch,
or even dinner.
Sadly too small for any
of the above,
more than likely just
a snack.
Fate is fickle
the man drops the can.
The worm has been given
a reprieve.
Wiggle and giggle,
he moves toward freedom,
and a chance
at living another day.
The fisherman cheated
out of his catch,
by an accident.
The worm,
happy to have been
given one final opportunity,
out of a thousand...
and joyous at his success
in the end.
I wrote my dad a poem, one year.
Thought he was clearing his voice.
He was choked up with tears,
something I never expected.
Mom died.
Those tears became a torrent.
Endearment.
His story is written,
not on fancy paper
but in martini glasses,
cheers,
in the blanket,
on the love seat,
at the table with the blinds -
mom saw only once
before cancer
sent her to the place of no return.
I brought balloons.
The giant one said Happy Father’s Day.
Accompanying those
three pink and one blue -
representative of the love
that surrounds him.
we’ve got you, dad.
you’re not alone.
your children have you.
…and dad,
you both were great parents.
I miss you a whole lot throughout the year
However, I miss you the most on this day
You are someone that I hold close and dear
I miss you a whole lot throughout the year
You added to my life much love and cheer
Dad, you are forever in my heart to stay
I miss you a whole lot throughout the year
However, I miss you the most on this day

Though tempest's foaming deep swells far from land
and restless waves should buffet his small boat,
the Captain at the wheel with steady hand
trusts Providence to keep the crew afloat.
A Shepherd finds green pastures for his flock
protecting them that they may safely dwell
and carries injured lambs who cannot walk
to nurture them with love until they're well.
Preparing lesson plans and lecturing,
the Teacher answers questions patiently -
delighting in the joy knowledge can bring,
imparting light for growing eyes to see.
Lord, please grant wisdom, strength, and grace to me
to captain, shepherd, teach my family.

Happy Father's Day
To all the men;
With the pen ;
And pencil in hand ;
With the mind ;
To rhyme ;
With the fingers hands;
On the keyboard they pan !
The words that not they're write verses
To you we say Happy Father's Day
For every male poet whom birth;
Whose co- reared a child;
These words of muse;
Partaking absolutes;
For all those words you've often said, you say;
We thank you and honor you on this day to you blessed Father's Day

Front-liner with dedicated service for others and family,
A good leader who steps ahead saying, “Be brave follow me!”
The counselor, best friend and source of spiritual strength,
Health protector who cares patiently in an unlimited length;
Epitome of faith, love and trust at home,
Responsible parenthood - he offers with endless bloom;
Super Hero for me in my unfathomable admiration!
Dad, I pray and wish the best for you on your special day;
A healthy, happy and blissful life- may God grant you every day,
You are the best father in the world. I love you so much, daddy!
