A Realization Wrapped In Bloody Glass

It's all so picture esc
Like a movie scene where everybodys dead
You're left there grasping on regret
With your will rotting like the corpse in your hands
Wishing that you could just sink into the sand
But your burning fading to ash
Now the grounds turned to glass

Dazed, staring into the skin of your reflections
Covered in bruises and contusions
That come to view like a lifted illusion
That were held down by your false solutions

Cracking the mirror won't change the reflection the pieces
Anger and hate increases
You lay there in a well of bloody tears
As beautiful as broken glass
Sit there tossing turning
Rolling in blood burning

You grew accustomed taste of death
Passing through your breath
Which only now you regret

It seems you weren't prepared for the brutality
Of your wicked reality

Everybodys Baby

Everybody's Baby

She was everybody's baby;
Oh it made her proud!
She had ruby lips and platinum hair;
She was bold and she was loud.

She was everybody's baby,
She was everybody's pal;
Boy, she was something!
She was everybody's gal!

She was young and she was pretty;
She had clever things to say.
The world was her dolly,
And she went out to play!

She was everybody's baby;
That nobody would keep.
Then at last she realized
She'd sold her stock to cheap.

Time is a cruel Master;
And the Devil has his Due.
Death comes to everybody;
And some day He'll come for you.

She laughed all our warnings,
And scoffed at gentle ladies;
But there came a time she cursed the day,
She was everybody's baby.

For Hero's Wifes Or Girlfriends

All I have is a picture in my mind, on how you look and how it would be, if we were together, but your far far away. As I step out side my door, I see you wrote me a letter, and you promise in your letter, that you'll come home after your sailing on your ship, far far away to fight a battle. I try to fight back tears as you write in your letter that you have promised me that you'll come home, you'll come home to my heart, so we'll never be apart. Now I am dreaming of you in every letter, and I'm starting to believe that soon you'll come home, you'll come home to my heart, after fighting the battle on the ship your sailing on, so we'll have freedom so we can be together. You'll always be apart of my heart where ever you are out there fighting for everybodys freedom.

How Much Can the Heart Take

How much can one heart take,
Being abandoned at birth,
While the mother could care less,
Her struggles in life,

At hard knock times,
She tried to make the best of it,
As she could be,
Questions she has,

Answers she don't get,
It eats inside her,
But she still don't give up yet,
Several years later,

When she finds who her mom is,
A reunion with her,
Is just as is,
She cries,

Happy that her mom wants to see her,
But on her drugs,
And her boyfriend,
Is whats always come first,

No phone calls,
No letters,
Just disappointment,
Things that still hurt,

Life goes on,
This once little girl,
Now grown up,
Sees the truth,

Thats in everybodys eyes,
She knows now,
Even though truth always hurts,
She will never end up,

Like her real mother,
She has a good life,
Not from the likes of her,

But her step mother,
Her Father,
It's their love,
That taught her so...

A Promise of a Rose

everybody knows a dead beat dad
someone full of promises things yet to be had
everybody has a loser for a lover
what you see in them we have yet to discover
everybodys been put up and suddenly let down
and still you hold on to that imaginary clown
everybody feels what you felt and left
and you defend that dead beat unto the last breath
always believing the promise of the rose
is not just believing but knowing one knows
to some the promise of the rose is better than the rose

Till Death Do Me Apart

Till death do me apart
by Steven Pineda

“This one goes out to the ones that fall in Love”

The heart stitched from two pieces.
Still beating but with no meaning.
The lonelyness comes in with the night like a monster hiding under my bed feeding on my empty soul.
I long for love and attention.
The bed is like a cold tomb just me laying in the grave no one else just me.
Its cold dark no warmth the body shrivels and awaits a companion to take me into the sunlight to be warmed.
The butterfly's have left or died in my stomach I feel just emptiness.
I fein the need to catch the high of being loved and comforted by someone who needs me.
I wish I wasnt forgotten.
My best friend greets me with nausea and the fear of dying alone.
Where is my love I need it to be revived from this lonelyness void.
I walk a path that leads no where and see the world in shades of grey.
Sometimes I await death for that will immortalize me in everybodys mind and I will be loved and not forgotten.

Let the Bass Play

L.isten to the music,
E.xpress it through your feet,
T.ell the dj turn it up,
T.ell him raise the beat.
H.ell is not an option,
E.verything feels great,
B.ass is blasting through the roof,
A.ll you anticipate.
S.oon everybodys dancing,
S.ing and dance along,
P.lay around and have your fun
L.isten to the songs.
A.always and forever, never stop this awesome night,
Y.ell and scream and have a blast, cuz nothing's felt so right.

Making Up My Own Mind

Morning approaches out of another sleepless night
Anticipation gathers around my bedposts come daylight

Decisions made in the dark, they fade away so fast
Was it a dream of consequences related to the past?

Should I disregard the calm I feel as I begin the day?
Maybe I will learn how to get out of my own way!

It's very good to have the strength to seek out all your choices
But not so great when all you hear are everybodys voices

Telling you this and meaning that just doesn't cut the mustard
It leaves you silently indignant and so very flustered

So just follow your voice within, find what you really need
Let the naysayers figure out you won't be taking heed

The Light

there is a ray of light
in everybodys life
for some it is a husband
and others it is a wife
for some it is their children
some are high on life
no matter where they find it
their light it gives them hope
as long as they still have it
day after day they cope.

Ray of Light

in everybodys life
for some it is a husband

some are high on life
no matter where they find it

Slow Kylie

Nobody was here
to leave you
but yet you were affected

they heard a piece
of what you had to say
a message
we never finished

pieces of the pie
solutions to the never ending story

sucha puzzle

Im Undone
and it keeps changing
as you talk for me
as you overlook this crime
build me a weapon

define my soul
who are we anyway?
to make love this way

and need
eachother
through such intricate
bodylanguage
of language

slow down here
down and down
slow down
and drown drown drown

Everybodys listening
loivong their
delusional destiny called life
sometime its a price
a piece of the pie
a price of power
and not many think twice
sometimes it s a price
Everybodys living their destiny
sometimes its a price of
power

slow
down girl
slow down
 baby
slow down
down
down
slow
 it
down

Dream Again I Say

Slowly, does the journey to decease
Completely overwhelm my what to do's
Answers not for fear of this release,
What hoping has and if I were to lose,
The gift of sight the aftermath shows
Is eased without suspicion for the dead
Shall see alright and sensing I suppose,
A darkness that is everybodys' bed.
Asleep, and what can better be alive
Be dreaming an eternal depth in bliss,
And nearby seeing light as we arrive
The life before was similar to this.

The Riddle

The measure of pleasure i get it's infinite
I've turned ideas in my head to lead and wriiten it,
everybodys walkin through life, im sprintin it,
im insignificant but in the long run prolific.
I'm so quick in my thoughts sometimes i forget,
so confused in my feelings that sometimes they get mixed.
I'll flood your mind with some of mine,
the opposite of a mime cuz words speak as actions
let me create a new view point for you
take a vacation away from the everday point of view
put you infront of a mirror now your view points at you
not tryin to be rude by intruding on your mood
but I dont think its a crime to add thought to your food
or food to your thought vice versa wouldnt you like that versus a vice
and its hurts to be right, but the truth is pain
and if you can't hang then just noose your brain...
