Paraded in a child’s fable         
I have no voice, don’t let me die
No longer shall I live a lie
I have no soul nor thoughts to save
Unbeknownst to me is
this life beyond the grave?
A designer dainty as she

I’m weary of this haunted place,
Trapped by insecurities and fears' embrace.
I yearn for them to flee,
To vanish without a trace,
For this oppression still clings, a ceaseless chase,

And it won’t leave me be.
 
This mental anguish fails to mend,
The pain too raw, too real to comprehend,
Scars of abuse, time can not erase,
My arms reach out,

Words! Words! They swim in my head. 
Words unwritten, and words unsaid.
Always dangerous, a maelstrom they say.
Perhaps they’ll become useful one day.

I’ve a lot of them jumping and paddling inside;
Backstroke, breaststroke, and on their side.
Dipping, and diving, and splashing around
The clever ones careful to not make a sound.

Death from above
It’s outta sight!
Long red nails
She loves to bite

Loves the blood 
And revels in pain
A vampire’ for eternity
Drives her madly insane

Older than most 
Yet, this she knows
Her eyes come alive
With a fiery red glow

Flying and shapeshifting 
She does it best
Feeding on human blood
As she discards the rest
Strength like a bear
Shell snap your neck in

for you not to burst
