In the genial glassiness of the glazed conservatory
the jade in the green of the jasmine yellows;
geraniums, plumbago, bougainvillaea on the wall
let go on the hold of their precious flowers;
only this rose persists and stands tall.
Flowers fade, but love forever endures.
after the guests have gone home again
and she is alone in quiet
solitude once more without
the music of laughter
to stop the loud sound
of loneliness
she endures
alone
by
her
choice
of long ago
when he begged her come with me
when it had been yours
many things he endures
could be many cures
I only loved you because I still love you,
In the hushed hours when night embraces day,
A silent longing, unspoken and true,
Yet shadows dance where our hearts used to play.
Your absence, an ache that refuses to wane,
A bittersweet torment, etched deep in my soul,
The remnants of love, like whispers in rain,
Haunting my thoughts, an unfinished cajole.
Each passing moment, a yearning unmet,
Echoes of your touch, a soft fading sigh,
I loved you, I love you, forever beset,
In memories entwined, unable to deny.
Fragile dreams we wove, a tapestry worn,
Lost in the labyrinth of what could have been,
Yet, my heart, against reason, is still torn,
For loving you, my love, is a constant, serene.
In the vast expanse of time and space,
My heart's compass leads me back to your grace,
I only loved you, and I still love you,
Forever entangled, in love's eternal hue.
Life is lived though won or lost
We are forced to create a past
Time is also running damn fast
All must one day end at last

We laugh when past loss we track
We are cured due to time's knack
That girl by whom we got rejected
That job from which we were ejected
That game which our father objected
That day on which we were injected
So many scars that no longer look bad
Innumerable insults that sadly we had
Various criticisms from our dear dad
Time heals stopping us turning mad
So, use time and very calmly wait
Time will carry burdensome weight
Try to reach a very great height
But, fall not for greed's bait.

Lord You saved my life while I was in my Mama's womb, Your mercy endures forever. You reveal my name to my Mamma, and You knew me before I was even born Your mercy endures forever. You have seen me through the worst of times, and the best of times Your mercy endures forever. You blessed us with food when we had none, Your mercy endures forever. Even when I messed up You saved me from myself, Your mercy endures forever. Even through life's many trials and tribulations You never failed me once, Your mercy endures forever. Even when I wanted to end it all You came and rescued me, Your mercy endures forever. Through life's many storms You were always there to comfort my soul Your mercy endures forever. Your mercy is what saved me, and it's what will keep me until the day You carry me home.
An Angel appeared to Marium,
HiS Love endures forever,
And told her a son she would bear,
HIS Love endures forever,
He told her his name would be Yeshua,
His Love endures forever,
She agreed to be GOD's handmaiden,
HIS Love endures forever,
Nine months later her time was near,
HIS Love endures forever,
A degree went out to have all Isreal taxed,
HIS Love endures forever,
So Yoseph and Marium to Bethlehem they went,
HIS Love endures forever,
No room in the inn so a stable they found,

And there was Yeshua born,
HIS Love endures forever,
An angel appeared to shepherds that night,

And told them of Yeshua's birth,

So leaving their flocks they found the child,

And told everyone of this Messiah Child,

Every day is a gift from God
in His providence, He has a plan
for in His love, He seeks us out
making sure we'll not be also-rans
This is God who made all that's made
from before eternity, God has always been
He's set His heart on lost mankind
showing His love on this was very keen
God calls His people to repentance
even willing to help them find this
in His power to turn from their sin
mighty love proves never to miss
Jesus came down with a purpose
showing sacrificial love upon a cross
dying for sinners who He loved
shedding His blood at His cost
God has shown His love so perfect
shown by Jesus love at Calvary
His steadfast love endures forever
this dear divine love will never sever
(Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever!

Let all the earth his praise proclaim
That all may know his holy name
Rejoice in him; rejoice again

With my eyes I have yet to see
With my ears I have not yet heard
With my legs I have not yet been
With my hands I have not held
With all else said, there is still time
I have not spoken what I need to say
In my heart I have not felt the fullness
In my mind I am at peace
In my life are treasures of reflections
Hereafter: my soul I’ll keep
Still time to live, I do not weep
I was at my desk when in he came.
His hair was dark, his eyes the same.
Excited, I blurted, almost a shout.
"Hey you, would YOU like to go out?"
His smile told me what I needed to know.
And that was over thirty years ago!
We're married now, for twenty years.
Most of that was filled with tears.
He drank, he lied, he ran away.
But I still loved him to this day.
Ten years ago, consumed with strife.
He put down the bottle and took back his life.
His eyes are still dark, his hair not so much.
His smile is for me and so is his touch.
I weathered the bad times and cherished the good.
The first time I saw him, I knew that I would.
STill my love!
Damp evening wanes over the hills
To trail away, so far from sight
My burnt eyes watch a hollowed dusk
Evanescing into the night :
Our deep affection takes a leave
For it’s wartime… and off you go,
While petals drop their silhouettes
Against ache of hours’ afterglow.
My raking breath withdraws from me,
Like raked twilight’s painful behest
When nothing but our love endures;
As seasons drown this empty nest…
TILL your lively voice peals to call,
Igniting wait of ardor's sway--
How immeasurable rapture
Greets evensong and fate, halfway!
