My head is a television
With the dream channel turned on
It always turns on
Once I forget about this world
The screen becomes clear and more focused
Once I’m far, far away from here
The colors beyond the normal spectrum
Are animated and strangely surrealistic
Almost paranormal
Anyone and everyone are welcome
To tune into my station
It’s easy
With eyes closed, just forget
About this world for awhile
Believe in the unbelievable
Imagine the unimaginable
Tune in . . . turn on
And replace your head with a television

Just remember,
                         don’t lose the remote

Discombobulated

Heaven like place, silver streaks peeking,

shining through clouds are playing with the light of full moon A sea is quiet, stars glittering watching the game far away

oblivious excitement to feel the beauty of nature but to feeling of weakness. Thoughts crawled in mind and again feeling

strained. Heart is Imploring wants to let it all go.

The emotions are not in control eyes filled with tears like a child heart is still running behind that love

Terrible situation not ready to accept reality

Life is full of choices. But once recognised the true love, it is responsibility.

Once again I am shattered! The lies I want to speak to my heart the ignorance I want to show my mind that

it was nothing, that was not love, I was hatred!

Love rejoices only in dreams

The sea is silent but naughty short waves comes and go like the thoughts

crawling in my heart,

it is positive and negative fusion,

Choiced unwind and again created confusion!

Discombobulation
Interrupts my concentration
In the darkest corner of my mind
It's sinuous coils unwind
And because of it's intrusion
I'm caught up in confusion
My thoughts become so scattered
And the thing that really mattered
The track that I was following
The snake is busy swallowing
I wish I could combobulate
And concentrate to meditate

My love for words creates mental pain-
when they race around in my befogged brain.
I sit here dreaming- pen held in my hand;
mind burning aglow with ideas so grand.
To be very frank, the two oft don't meet,
the paper stays blank- my head whirs in heat.

May go on for hours- these frenzied word games
in seeking a crack to set free the strains;
spinning and whirling for clear words to find-
metaphor, imagery- meter combined.

What comes to mind has been said before-
needed are words to unfold and restore
old themes of nature and love redefined;
God above, ourselves, the woes of mankind-
of life and death- of sad wars and true peace.
These variant themes need a new release!

Burst open, you seed! Expose yourself bare
so I can soon grasp the words to prepare-
and push forth a poem through this foggy light
to offer a gift from my mental plight!

Old age can be a lonely time for some;
friends fade to acquaintances; slip away.
Though your achievements bolster your resume,
they've stagnated with time and seem humdrum.
The atrocities of wars left you numb;
morals sink when hate is a stowaway.
And as the future gets bleaker each day,
you're left discombobulated and glum.

Children have lost the wonderment of youth,
comparing friends to likes; they interface.
Love's still spontaneous, but unlike hate,
it's an elusive, transitory truth.
Hypocrisy and lies are commonplace,
and death can seem a less frightening fate.

I’m feeling a little irked and discombobulated.
The soup is for all poets It’s not that complicated.
I’m tired of all the whiners and their fits of jealous rage.
It’s time to act your age and move on to another page.

I don’t care about your comments or the contest you didn’t win.
Stop preaching from your pulpit, you are not free from sin.
I’m sick of the conspiracy theories, it’s time to check your clock.
I don’t want to read it here, this is for poetry, it’s not tik tok.

I am fully vaccinated it was my choice to get that shot.
It’s your choice to not get jabbed, stop acting like a snot.
You say my genes are altered, to me you sound like a nut.
I guess I’ll die in three years, until then you can kiss my butt.

Confused, consternated, discombobulated, bumfuzzle woman girl
What has happened to make you so contorted and distorted?
Your knees are pointing out your upside down backwards face, if you ask me.

Discombobulated

There is a time in
One’s life that we all go through
When things just seem to
Never go our way,
Be discombobulated,
“Murphy’s Law” is bright!

But, bear with it all.
Its course will leave you,
Go to someone else.

Discombobulated today, please accept my apology
Travel's a big factor causing these abnormalities
At my advanced age
Routine is the rage
Can't easily handle change, it's based on zoology

Discombobulated and Disassociated

Discombobulated and Disassociated
 the Identity in Feeling Real.
Fragmented and Piecing
 Together Craziness
Helps Cope with
 Misconstrued Beginnings
The endings in
 Personalities Emerging
A Frenzied Madness
What is?
 Really Really?
Who is ?
 Really Real?
Time lapsed Laziness
 Haze filled Gazing
An Identifiying Marker
 Around life's Corner
Living inside Multitutes
 Breaking born Freedom
Surviving amid Atrocities
 Living the Abusive
Dazed into Raging
 Feeling Behind
Humanities Cruelities
Discombobulated and Disassociated

What Rhymes With Discombobulated

WHAT RHYMES WITH DISCOMBOBULATED

I cannot find a word to rhyme with "Opus"
to try and do so is incredibly hopeless.
Even using words like "Door-hinge"
is cheating in rhyming it with "Orange."

No rhyme for "Purple" nor for "Ninth"
and it's too bad the word's not, "Pinth".
"Wolf" and "Month" will bring you sighs,
and who thought "Marathon" was wise?

A word like "Dangerous" is quite impetuous,
this word in rhyme is more than treacherous.
Then to set your teeth on edge,
"Angst" will jump you from your ledge.

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"
but, did ever Shakespeare, "Chaos" meet?
If "bliss and suffering is forever shared and forever all your own"
did Dylan Thomas rhyme "Silver" with a word that is well known?

Words that will not rhyme in English,
we positively must extinguish.
If not, then poetry will go, god knows,
and we'll be left with free verse and merely prose.

Discombobulated

indecisive
over analyzing every possible outcome
how come it gets more difficult and complex with every passing minute?
just when I think I’ve figured it out
it gets more twisted and intricate
either way I gotta do what’s best for me
as simple as it may sound
it is far beyond easy
breezy and lifted so wavey
with ideas and plans
when it all boils down to it
my life is only in my hands….
to be continued (this is not the end, for it is merely the beginning)
