Deodorize Poems

There's more to keeping house,
Than washing dishes, sweeping floors.
You must wipe away the dirt,
From window sills and doors.

Picking up and straightening,
For certain is a must,
But if you want it to be clean,
It's wash and scrub and dust.

Because you ran the vacuum,
You think you've done a chore,
But did you wash the window panes?
Did you mop the floor?

The cupboard doors need wiping down,
Else they get greasy, tacky.
The hood above the stove as well,
The counter tops are nasty.

Then there's dusting to be done,
And don't forget the bathroom.
Tub and toilet, bathroom sink,
Deodorize the room.

Now if you think your work is done,
The bedrooms need a cleaning,
So everything smells fresh and clean,
As you lay a-dreaming.

Tomorrow is another day,
Just like the one before.
You did all this just yesterday,
But it must have grown some more.

It's wash and scrub or bust.

Answer To Anxiety

The voice of death tho a whisper still
If exercised is loud and shrill
A couple of coins & sign the line
May just buy you a little time
Library’s filled with ancient tomes
A lot of stories of the unknown
On going tales of lore
Their to impress the present whore

Two bits to cover the eyes
A few roses to deodorize
A Constant rattle to the soul
can create more havoc than you know

With A few scriptures recited well
Place a dollar bet and you’re out of hell
From our minds the hero’s rise
Revealing how we lived our lives
Speaking in circles nipping our tails
Creating enough wind to billow a sail
The flag of glory is beyond repair
Yet plainly visible to all who dared

Premium MemberFree of Television At Last

At Last I'm free of television!
Have learned to sit quietly,
and tune to something different:

Let me see...

What will I sell myself tonight?

Will it deodorize?

Give me more mileage?

Apparently, I am a born consumer;
many, like myself, poor at sowing
when seeds
are commercial-free thought....

On Noah's Ark

A pair of skunks on Noah’s ark
Got separated in the dark.
The female used her wily wits
And let loose with a little spritz.

The other creatures gagged and moaned.
Festivities were all postponed;
But Noah – patient, calm and wise
Knew just how to deodorize.

He lit a few sweet-smelling punks
To camouflage the smell of skunks.
The animals all sighed relief
And thanked their most ingenious chief.

The skunks, at last, were reunited,
Though they felt both miffed and slighted.
They knew not to what extent
That scent they sent caused such dissent.
