Quiet weep
This inspiring song strongly reinforces our global beliefs, originating from the depths of Africa. The chorus has gained considerable popularity online. While some may argue that it is more radical than spiritual, I respectfully disagree. It resonates deeply with those who hold these beliefs
“No turning back” comes with a lot of meaning, behind this chorus line
I know of a lot of Genz who do believe in religion
But to see how they react to the chorus “I have decided to follow Jesus
Make us believe that we can conquer the devil.
They took up, they crossed and followed thee
Was it the beat in the songs or the lyrics that inspired so many
Of them to get up and dance along?
As poets, we might refer to this as zigging and zagging,
As Genz will probably say, free up your minds
I would say trust the song, not the singer
Distressing without demonstrating.
Camping without thinking,
Moving gracefully without political approvals
Let them see the youth at their best.
And more things as the Caribbean would
They come to play. No turning back

It was the chicken piccata—
zested to confession,
plated like a bribe—
they'd barely had a taste.
Your favorite patron
pulled a face,
asked who cooked it,
then quietly slid the plate
into the trash.
God, you’d have howled,
ugly-laughed into your wine,
called it an injustice of capers,
made a chart demonstrating
the salt-to-spite ratio.
I reached for my phone—
reflex,
tongue licking spit from a lip.
Then I laughed
hard
at the way the joke curled back,
both of us plated wrong.
Me, for serving in your absence.
You, for going off-menu.

Among the myriads of ways, please listen
to three more of the shouting voices of Easter.
At a communion table in Jerusalem with a towel
In the hands of the Master, Easter speaks HUMILITY
As Christ stoopes to wipe his disciples' feet.
Easter speaks LOVE AND PAIN simontaneously
As Jesus expresses the sorrow that fills his
Heart at the realization of Judas' upcoming
Betrayal,, demonstrating both emotions as
He calls him friend in the very act of betrayal.
As Christ hangs from a cruel cross, Easter
Speaks of FORGIVENESS AND PARDON.
From an empty tomb, Easter speaks of
ETERNAL HOPE AND LIFE as Jesus is
resurrected from death.

TO THE TASK AHEAD FOR OUR WRITERS
No one can write our story but us;
His story merely footnotes us:-
In the culture of the penned word,
We must personally ink ourstory;
Footnoting history’s keloid pains:-
In doing so, the rules must be ours
As opposed to those of anglophobia:-
In our midst, do we not have
Our own Prophets, Scribes, and Seers?
Do we not have our own worthy Griots?
Let us not write for their critics, but for ourselves,
Demonstrating mastery of the enforced language
Through which we must uniquely cipher flowing lines;
Deciphering coded lies from undeniable living truths:-
Can an indigenous fruit be a “native” of one that’s not?

How can mere information,
lead to soul’s transformation?
Heart is the sacred centre,
where thought forms cannot enter.
As the fragrance of a rose,
metamorphose in repose,
which requires but pure intent,
granting love our full consent.
The laws of God are well known,
a path we each walk alone,
demonstrating in lived life,
that free from strife, we’re bliss rife.
Somewhere not far, a tear falls,
witnessing which, our breath stalls,
so we spring forth to assist;
wounds kissed by our heart’s love mist.

On the one hand we are told not to blow our own trumpet and be humble,
One the other hand we we must express Love for ourselves,
And through the worlds not stumble,
Or our lives will get lost in the concrete jungle.
So how do Love ourselves less without getting into a tangle,
Or Love ourselves more without risking that for which we angle.
Since we cannot loves others from any angle,
Without Loving ourselves from any angle
We must look at the subject from a third angle.
I suspect if we make the best use of our talents,
We will be demonstrating Love of self to more than our parents,
And will have no need to blow our own trumpets outside our own tents,
As scouts are good at trumpeting news of anyone with talents.

I wish to inhabit a place where daisies flourish in golden fields, allowing me to create chains from my brown hair and roam freely amidst the delightful fragrance of summer days. I seek love from those whose support keeps me grounded, rather than experiencing the chill of isolation that weighs me down. I do not require a celestial home where the faces of departed loved ones linger. I simply desire the ability to experience genuine feelings on this Earth that are as tangible as the flowers nestled in my hair. If I am meant to run, then who is designated to pursue me? I would be at a loss to begin if I were to encounter a kindred spirit. I am in search of my rightful place. Even a dandelion can emerge through a crack to fulfill its purpose, demonstrating the beauty of a brave weed. Meanwhile, the girl with the daisy chains drifts along the breeze's path, directionless.

From exploratory suspicion?! This would
Be soo better than BEST in fact nothing
Less! Than this SPRING forever leaving
Winter wanters wondering into a
Willful natural ease aaah! All is
Great in gratitude of things we do not
UNDERSTAND! NONETHELESS I REMEMBER THINGS! it means things secrets! Like warm SPRINGS at the
Height of winter then other another
Frustrating full flashing THUNDEROUS

When I make the mistake ,
of keeping God at arms length.
Sometimes I forget that,
He’s the source of my strength.
It’s always easy to trust Him,
when things are going my way.
Sometimes He directs circumstances,
just to get me to pray.
Blessings have exited Heaven,
during some of my darkest hours.
God has always shown up,
demonstrating His powers.
When Doctors had done all,
and said it’s in God’s hands.
God was proving once again,
His power was greater than mans.

“Father Sun is continually rambling and by doing so defines the night.” ~ by poet
Rambling
cosmic thoughts of
Mother Moon, Father Sun,
many of which I pen to page
in recounting their passionate story.
Demonstrating his devotion,
Sun dies so Moon may rise.
He spends his nights
rambling.

I AM POETRY
Do not mistake me for rambling prose
As I have structure, rhythm and rhyme
Demonstrating how a poem flows
My verse is me, it is what I am
Achieving resonance is sublime
Making the heart feel what the brain knows
As if steps to the stars one can climb
As the pulse of life finally slows
Transported back to a different time
Line by line, an understanding grows
My verse is me, it is what I am

Freedom or whatever
Is it a wonderful idea where we can say what we like?
To act as we like without concern what others might think.
I believe in free speech voicing what life has taught me
and part of this is that freedom carries responsibility.
dare I say, compassion for others.
In Europe’s cities and the USS, people are demonstrating
they do not want their freedom curtailed,
not to wear masks and not vaccinated.
they do not think of people who by their actions might
make other bystanders catch the Virus and die.
Every régime of every description will try to get more power
and they must be resisted, but not now.
When times are right, they must be fought the alternative
is fascism, the enemy of freedom will seduce the half-baked
people to look for leaders who despite fine words
have nothing to offer but autocracy.
