Deficit Poems - Poems about Deficit

ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVE DISORDER ADHD

The boy was as quiet as a viper
Often talkative and very hyper
One thought crossed another
Another topic intercepted the other.

Running…Running…Racing thoughts
Too…Too..many to be caught.
He jumped and jived that young little boy
He sure had ways to actively annoy!

Poor little fellow…they gave him pills
To settle him down and stay still!
“He lacks attention!”
“He needs detention!”
That’s what they thought and

Deficit Brain

deficit brain,
I'm seeing a big flaw here
and a thousand scandalous defects,
I'm driving like a reckless driver,
through the crossroads of thought.
this labyrinth had everything to be fantastic,
now it's a mess of dirty and dark streets,
where words feel like a virus
that there is no way to treat.

I'm biting my nails,
I'm peeling the paint off the walls,
can you

Addled

Restlessness, impulsiveness,
loquaciousness, compulsiveness,
distracted inattentiveness
and tangent railway tracks.

Complexities, anxieties
and dopamine deficiencies.
Instant gratification please,
relief for my synapse.

Procrastination, wired sensation,
biochemical frustration,
forget to take my medication.
Frontal lobe relapse.

Rapid heartbeat, fidgety feet,
hypervigilant, unable to sleep,
central nervous system freak.
Neurological cracks.

Premium MemberTaking Myself Back To Zero

To humble yourself, I mean, to really take yourself back to zero, open a dictionary but not a student one.
I have been doing this lately, to study the words I do not know. I am using a super doper two volume extravaganza of a dictionary, so I am today as humble as I have

Premium MemberRequiem of An Attention Deficit Dream

“‘Tis elementary my dear boy,” said the unclipped fuzzy lips,
Whose bristles were littered with the debris of remnant chips.

Whatever before the professor had said was forever lost in time,
For the boy had as much the capacity to focus as does a lime.

“Of course, professor,” the boy barfed back in nauseated routine,
As he wished he remembered

Deficit Dump At a Zero Incline

Pictorial evidence of a moon beam dancing dangerously across a road with a stripped sun is only to be depicted by a jury who knows the sanity of true speech. Whereas a gutless cuttlefish could curd if left in the heat. For over three millenia a greedy goblin has baked human cakes but used land

The Conservatives and the Budget Deficit

In 2010 just before the General Election, David Cameron promised,
To eradicate the deficit by 2015 and manoeuvre it out of the red,
But now in 2015 George Osbourne the Chancellor of the Exchequer said,
He’d take until 2020 to make it black and put the whole thing to bed.

The tories are rather behind at “finishing the job”,

Attention Deficit Disorder

A rock for you, mountain for me
Why am I defeated so easily

I put on my pants one leg at a time
That's where there lives an invisible line

Marking the difference between you and I
Explaining my crawl as you fly high

Looking down from your castle
You view me a hassle

I try and try
Excuses run dry

My race is over

Wealth of two masters…
`Tis an amazing thing
One mysteriously an illusion…
Of the mind one is serpent

Though by the essence of the dove…
