Work of Art

He was a work of art
I knew he was crazy from the start
I knew it may be a little hard
To deal with someone with a broken heart
I put his name in the blue of my polish nails
I don’t want him to tell me fairy tales
I let it written with my red lipstick
While I take it off real quick
Cause there is something else I wanna put on my lips and lick
Really all the drama makes me sick
I just want someone who knows to make me click
I can’t get hurt in theory
But you may catch me get teary

Lonely and hating what her friend has become.
Seems like no more friendship to believe in,
Art the only place to breathe in.

Meeting new people who are considered geeks and freaks,
Hanging with them all week.
Near the end, her "geeky" friend shows her Jesus,
And she is saved.

Finally, out of her lonely cave.
She faced troubles before, but thankfully
Being friends with that "geek" meant so much more.

The Dark Blue Evening:Every Moon Sets -07

And still

It was not all over,

As if you wanted to listen

To the dying echoes

Of my leafless urge

Snaking through the

Valley of my just widowed heart.

While the shape of dead tolls

In the blue evening

Till the last purple flame

Of lust for life-

Dies away, leaving

Heaps of ashes

On the bald foreheads

Of the darkest hours-

In the nuptial bed

Of my crystal heart.

Eternity is unflinching
and on the day of his last entry
the day he died
in a small room
dark blue,
he had no thoughts of coming days.

young man,
you did your time
in a prison,
did your time in the grip of malignant delusions,
no escape from the voices in your head.

May your ashes of shame
your final expression,
rest in peace for ever and ever.

Throw Me In the Dark Blue Sea

loving with my heart only to be told i am not the one
loving with my soul
loving with my all

why even love at all
seeing you do not love me
the good times you remember no more
thrown away into the dark blue sea

the times we shared and you said you treasured
through thick and thin and bad weather
we weathered the storm together

now it is as you do not know me
also throw me into the dark blue sea

Retribution

Six
Six dark suits
Six dark suits carry anguish.
Five
Five long years
Five long years forever lost.
Four
Four gray walls
Four gray walls hold, suffocate.
Three
Three more days
Three more days until release.
Two
Two blue eyes
Two blue eyes haunt my thoughts, dreams.
One
One person
One person responsible.

I will find you.

Sky

Milky blue light drenching particle specks lightened by contrasting swoops of foggy spectacle
Further surpassed by mass internal affairs given off to sight after years of waiting for enlightenment
To be distanced and held secret for generations of life
Sinister confusion in count and account but simple in glance and embrace
Held by eye represented as such as well surrounding darkness in human sight
Beauty to the few common sight to all but neglected magnitude nonetheless
To be embraced in movement across the dark blue in irreverence to the rest and its lack of movement
But left in perfect motion on rare occurrence given to heart and patience and luck
Set in life and represented as such to guide cycle and light in the human contrast
Never-ending to the short-lived life, but soon to close for the life of the heartbeat of the world
But until time comes to retract readjust and begin again, the dark eye along with its surrounding,
beauty must gaze at the last half of the day in awe and in silence with the world being the hourglass and the telescope in which gaze is possible.
Until closure is inevitable once more.

The Fair Angel Sitting On a Dark Blue Cloud

The fair angel sitting on a dark blue cloud
holds a dazed light in her trembling, gentle hand open wide...
shouldn't a peaceful summer's night be lit by silver stars?
How would she reach the rings of Mars?

Like Venus dressed in white silk,
she waits for her Adonis to make her weak
with his beautiful, ripped physique...
would then that heavenly vision be unique?

The fair angel sitting on a dark blue cloud
feeds her fantasy by peaking into the effulgent light,
for now she seems so peaceful and glad...
later, she'll worry as it'll become evanescent as night.

Lustrous moon shed some light on her path 'till morning comes,
can she dream with open eyes and still be realistic?
More is achieved when one loves as she truly does...
unlikely others who are anxious to be loved and become love-sick.

Fairy Tales Were Wrong

When I was a little girl I was told fairy tales
And I was raised to beware of the monster in a black cape
I was made to believe that evil would be so ugly
That you could see it as soon it was there

Oh, how wrong they were
Cause you're right here in front of me
You look like Prince Charming
But you have a dark heart
You get me caught up in your twisted arts

I was fooled by your big blue eyes
I was drawn in by your blonde hair
Why was I never warned that those with dark hearts could be so fair
Cause now that you've pulled me close
I can't deny my affections for you
But you give me a roller coaster ride
Why did I not see past your blue eyes
You push and pull me all the time

I should have known
I should have been able to see
Just how twisted you are
Your looks are a lie
You don't wear a black cape
You don't have an ugly face
As much as I try to hate that monster inside
I still want you

You look like Prince Charming
But you have a dark heart
And I was drawn in like a moth to a flame
You've got me in your prison of desire
I'm in chains, can't you see
All I want, all I need is to be let free

Beginning the Day With a Shovel and Broom

Beginning the day with a shovel and broom
Construction clean-up around five this morning
Overnight precipitation causes fog to loom
Darker clouds are quickly forming

Construction clean-up around five this morning
The beginning of a twelve hour day
Darker clouds are quickly forming
The skies gone from blue to dark grey

The beginning of a twelve hour day
Enough trash to span for miles
The skies gone from blue to dark gray
There's enough work to last a while

Enough trash to span for miles
Overnight precipitation causes fog to loom
There's enough work to last a while
Beginning the day with a shovel and broom

The Dark Blue World

My Moondust said to me….

At the waters’ edge

Of a stream, running free

Beware the Dark Blue World

You are not ready

I fixed her with a quizzical eye

She smiled softly

Faeries have always known

Of things beyond

For now…

My love

Let it lie

The Dark Blue World

Knows of you

You know not of futures made

Past

Here and now

Of paths, laid

The path to travel

Is not yet made for you

Only with me

Can you be guided safely

Soon

Under an Autumn moon

We can see

Everything in the Dark Blue World

what it means to me

Blue Sail

Rippling phosphorescence i leave in my wake,
ghostly trails i leave on the dark blue

Moon light light reflects off my jib and stay
silver strands gleaming

My blue sail pulling me along softly,
boat bobbing, gently at play

Puff of wind,stays creak,
bow dips, for phosphorescence it will seek

Soft chuckle of the dark blue,
moon lit sea bathes me too

For i know not where to go,
follow the moon
until it sets low

On the dark blue
luminous moon
phosphorescence glow
wish you were here too

Tang of sea,
cool wind
I am not of this boat,
it is part of me

Soft glowing mast light,
strangely comforting,
a pin prick on the dark blue

Moon ,be my guide,
i will follow you,
on the dark blue
with you by my side
you can dream too

Puff of wind is the essence,
on moonlit sea,
trailing phosphorescence

Star lit night,
on the dark blue,
what could be more wonderful
than being with you
