Minding as we step,
counting crocuses we walk,
taking snowdrop stops,
sharing with the afternoon,
joys of two boys now it's spring.

Crocuses in bloom
By Michelle Morris
25/02/2021
Crocuses in bloom bless the landscape -
Purples, blues and whites scattered around to their heart's delight;
Trumpeting spring with colourful silence,
Embracing the sun's rays and reflecting nature's perfection...

crocuses
withstand March winds
dressed
in snowflakes-

With warm caresses from the sun
daffodils and crocuses sprout:
when the tulips start popping out.
The fight for my heart has begun:
both are such a delightful sight,
Snowdrops, versus snowflakes of white.
Winter's defeated, Spring has won;
its fragrance, inhaled with each breath
Life's revival reverses Death.
A sugary sap starts to run,
an elixir for budding leaves;
allowing green to paint the trees.
And moths leave cocoons, larvae spun,
to join butterflies in the air;
beautifying the world they share.
With warm caresses from the sun:
the fight for my heart has begun.
Winter's defeated, Spring has won;
A sugary sap starts to run,
and moths leave cocoons, larvae spun.

Soring starting to peer through the ground,
Snowdrops and crocuses all around.
The silent sounds of spring,
What good weather God will bring.
The beautiful house standing tall,
An exquisite home for relatives all..
The gentle buds and white and purple blooms,
Sprouting as the snow thaws and looms.
What a delight to praise and view,
Seen by the passerby maybe just a few.
Winter is prevalent, the snowflakes caress the ground,
With intricate white snowflakes all around,.
