some neurons are easily led ~ feeding on one that's sick in the head

logic fails them the signal misread ~ out of control a cancer spreads

thought consumed a mind misled ~ begins eating itself alive instead

pointed words allusively said ~ can’t resurrect what was always dead

Praise Be To the Lord Russia Has Found a Vaccine

Breaking news this just in,

Russian medics have just discovered
a vaccine or cure for Covid-19

1 sprits of Novichok

1 cup if tea laced with Polonium - 210

Followed by a weekend mini city break

Taking in the 125 meter tall steeple
above Salisbury Cathedral

A symposium on fake news delivered
by Vlad Putin himself

A beginner's introduction to chemistry on the
periodic tables most toxic poisons

And a crash course in election
tampering

Then lunch a passing out ceremony
and certificate with matching gift set

And proverbial negative swab test resulting
in the all clear nothing to see here

Nostrovia vodka for everyone to celebrate
and toast our success

Ashamed

Burning bridges & broken hearts
Drug addiction is where it starts
Consumed my life, just like a storm
With my first high a thief was born
There is no truth, you might of heard
A lie was told with every word
Decisions were made at an extreme
Done some things, I couldn't of dreamed
It's hard to say sorry but I'll try
Was a piece of & can't deny
Had no respect or any remorse
headed for death on a crash course
Up until the day I got the day I got busted
There's no way I could of been trusted
All my emotions & feelings were gone
couldn't be depended or counted on
Didn't know what I was capable of
Put my daughter at risk because of a drug
I can't believe it, I'm so ashamed
Have no excuse, I except all the blame
Only thing to do now is make a change
Must forgive my self in exchange
It's time I put my foot on the ground
Never to late to turn it around

Facing Reality

Darker shades of wealthy black
turn to sinking red,
the world you knew abandons you,
just like the nay-sayers said.
You’ve got no leg to stand on,
can’t reap what’s not been sown,
crash course in reality,
how’s it feel being on your own?

Faces with their leering smiles,
look like wolves at prey,
sizing up their latest game,
before it’s time to play.
You’ve got no home to run to
and your dollars number few,
bitter flavor of reality,
it all falls down on you.

Pleading loud to change it all,
making it your cause...
sorry kid, the world goes on
by strict, unchanging laws.
The choice to face it always comes,
and better it comes quick,
the longer you fake reality
the more you're screwed by it.

Natrual Force

The cold rain falls soft and it blows your mind
The child inside her wept as silence crept to steal my life
I remain alone yet she assures me the past is dead
The Master hears but dosn't reply or say a word
The devil is feared by most my friends
But not by me those kind of tactical errors are what loses the fight
And the Creator blasts the world devastation is A-Class
Your now engaged in a crash course painful as it is
Violent storms appear lighting rips across the sky
The kindness is a reminder to those who stick to virtue
I never cursed you open your mind my heart is as cold as ice
My heart's bold but not openly better than all
As a feather falls gravity is A sea saw battle
as the opposition falls back
slash the animosity the hate and all between
Greatness is an imaginary line i don't care to cross
As I bear it all but not alone
these tripple threats come so close
to ripping heads off necks

Evolved

Evolved
Written By: D. Collins 10/28/14

There are a lot of people who’ve been married for years.
Then, suddenly find themselves in a world of fears.
The world has evolved while they were at home.
It’s a different story when that marriage is gone.

They soon feel free, and start hitting the streets.
Naïve to predators that are in it for “me”.
They refer to “dating” as if they are nineteen.
But, the world has evolved to being ruthless and mean.

Everyone is hungry, and everyone is a “mark”.
Evolution stepped in to get at all o’ ya'll.
After marriage know the world isn't the same.
Know that people you date are trying to upgrade.

Think “mark” before romance and you’ll have it solved.
Absorb this crash course on how the world evolved.

Natural Satellite

orbiting her planet here
in my spacious long distance solitude

this synchronous rotation
only adds to my loneliness
watching her with a
three hundred and sixty five
twenty four seven obsession

peeking around crescents to catch a glimpse
getting attention by rare total momentary eclipse
but occasionally I am fully exposed
to the wonderful sight and beauty of glowing blue hues

there was a time when I was once part of you
you were once part of me
now only a crash course destiny
can bring us together

Ten Villanelles- Seventh

7

Finally stopping to catch my breath I am lost now
Knowing where I failed, my very worst decision
Not even recognizing myself, nor the why or how

What good is the field if the farmer cannot plow
Just getting by day after day without any vision
Finally stopping to catch my breath I'm lost now

Nothing inspires, nothing causes that internal wow
Something beautiful ultimately ended in sad division
Not even recognizing myself, nor the why or how

Towards nothingness I move, nothing more to avow
My very own existence has become my dark prison
Finally stopping to catch my breath I am lost now

No sweet nothings whispered, goodbye or ciao
One unseen moment that ended in silent derision
Not even recognizing myself, nor the why or how

The curtain is closing and I will give one final bow
A crash course was set, but there was no collision
Finally stopping to catch my breath I am lost now
Not even recognizing myself, nor the why or how

Lavish 2

Got some Hamiltons, chasin' Benjamins
I'm just a youngin', chasin' that cream
Just a youngin', chasin' that cream
If you're 'bout money, join the team
I'm just a youngin', chasin' that cream
Just a youngin', chasin' that cream

I'm a vendor, selling fools a dream

Overcharging 'em, call it extreme

Vain indulgence, simply lavish

Free money crash-course, get rich

I'm big eatin', you haters is starving

It's crystal clear, your ribs' touching

I bet big, raise the stake

Join me, win, catch a break

Not a scrooge, so I break bread

Everybody in my team are well-fed

Remember one thing, cream

Money keep flowing in, like a stream

Heading to the top, we was submerged

Started to invest, instead of splurge

From piss broke, living in the projects

To corporate, completing projects

Premium Member Long Journey

The last ray of sun in the west
Cast red onto cobalt
Clouds, long journey into sunset
As tears flow, I taste salt

What does one do when a child goes
astray, does one disown
him or pray fo a much better
day, hoping chances not flown?

The grass looked greener over there.
Then he found himself atop
a septic tank. Does one say see
we knew crash course non-stop?

It's according to the person's
age, how one handles it.
At this age, I will pray every
day, I'll just bite the bit.

The outcome good or bad we'll soon
know, how my heart aches though.
God, "Please in your mercy touch him".
Let Love's spirit flow!

Crash Course In American Diplomacy

US: eh hem
(clearing of the throat)

THE REST OF THE WORLD: (timidly stuttering) yyyyyyyessss godfather, you wanted to speak to me?

US: are you ready to do me a service?

THE REST OF THE WORLD: (hands shaking nervously, sweat beads forming at brow) anything, godfather. anything you need, i am at your disposal.

US: good. that is what i wanted to hear. i’m glad we had this talk.

Rebirth

God puts to rest
My unwanted stress
The sin within my skin
That rots my flesh
My enemies test my faith
Through hate
Not knowing the weight
Of my wisdom crashes
My enemies’ visions of failure in my life
Demons out of sight
Granted the right to cleansing of my soul
My pain is real
My worlds you can feel
Yet you still don’t understand me
Seeing is not sight
Believing is right
Receiving the light through night
Is not an easy fight
So much pain rained in vain of past decisions
Blurred my vision
Placed me in the wrong division
Faiths crash course collision
for the survival
Of the new arrival
