Count your blessings
Recognize one's treasures, Every moment
in someone 's personal life is to be grateful.
For God sends favor
No matter what the proportions or volume are.
Count your blessings.
Don't attempt to carry the weight of disappointment
Nor the entire world upon your shoulders, Considering
it comes in all sizes.
Thank you for all the tears collected. Pain doesn't
defines anyone, let the tears heal and not continue
to form weariness.
Count your blessings intently.
Uncaging control is divinity rest and let the author
Be the finisher of your chapters entitles one's life.
Even if you can't see or identify his timing in the
waiting.
Count your blessings.
When everything about me still thrives,
And everything is a sight for sore eyes,
I'm thankful for my sense of SIGHT.
When noise abounds with the hearing of sounds,
because my eardrums are enough to Astone,
I'm grateful for my sense of HEARING.
When never taking for granted a savory taste,
And as Jesus said, let nothing go to waste,
I'm thankful for my sense of TASTE.
When my bride is baking with sweet working labor,
And overwhelming me with smells of succulent flavors,
I'm grateful for my sense of SMELL.
I bow my knees and heart when I feel that loving touch,
And when I realize that I have been blessed with so much,
I'm thankful for my sense of TOUCH.

Clear your minds of troubles,
If only for today
It will give your heart a lift
And blow troubling thoughts away.
Try to occupy your thoughts,
On things that bring a smile,
You will find yourself smiling too
In a little while.
Count your blessings,
We all have quite a few.
There are many in this world,
Who would change places with you?
My beloved count your blessings,
Not your Sorrows
Be thankful for what you have
And not what you borrow
Be gracious and give even
If it's just a little being selfish and fitting
Bless those less fortunate
Embrace no less those needy
Be encouraging and graceful
Redeem your confession

Changing outlook from negative to positive
Our happiness starts with positivity;
Undermining our joy by withholding grudge
Never good things can be achieved with sadness
The best moments of life can’t be surrounded with misery.
Yes, people will try to impress upon their views.
Only you can decide whether to accept it or not.
Understand the purpose patiently
Review it from both sides before agreeing
Believe in yourself.
Learn the practice of self respecting.
Else Life will be meaningless with internal suffering
Some conditions need to be worked to avoid dissatisfaction
Sincere effort required to keep away from negativity in life
If one feels so unsatisfied, it will have impact on state of mind
Never quit, wise people said.
Grudges are waste of time, take remedial steps.
Stay calm to be peaceful; be happy with what we have.
I have trouble sleeping
I am in considerable pain
I twist and turn, twist and turn
And twist and turn again
My back feels like it's breaking
My legs both have a twitch
My stomach is uncomfortable
Now I have a stitch
A stitch in time saves nine
I've read
Somewhere back in time
I can't remember who wrote it
Perhaps they could use mine
My Husband is sleeping
Comfortable and snug
I'll get up for a cup of tea
And settle for a mug
I sit down by myself
Unsettled and forlorn
That healthy young woman
Of yesterday
Has well and truly gone
Who is that old woman
Miserable and blue
I should count my blessings
It won't take very long
At the moment I have only two
One that I am still alive
And have lived longer than some
Two, my aching limbs are not hurting
Everything is numb
I must try to stop thinking
Dwelling on my ills
I'll take my medication
And a dozen coloured pills
Even though I'm sure that
They give me a pain in the head
I'll swallow this last pill
Then go off to bed
How easily we nod off at dawn
~ though we can't a wink sleep all night
Count your blessings.
But I can't walk.
Count your blessings.
But my food tastes like chalk.
Count your blessings.
But my eyes constantly water.
Count your blessings.
But I've lost my only daughter.
Count your blessings.
But I can't remember my friends' names.
Count your blessings.
But every day is exactly the same.
But, but, but, but, but, but, But!
But you're alive, and where there's life, there's hope.
It's time to think positive ~ abandon the 'But' and the 'Nope!'
By experience...
mostly never got-
what I've simply wanted,
those times were hard and felt off guard;
absence of the hunted.
As time went passed-learned real fast
to disregard those stressings,
not so bad and was so glad when
counting all my blessings.
"Patience"-not my name you know...
have struggled and survived,
so hear I belt for I have felt
like you somewhat deprived.
When you reach my age my friend
you won't ponder your own messings,
you'll revive and be alive by
counting your own blessings.
"Count your blessings...
(Use both hands:-)"
Now listen up all ye poets out there
Here's an adage I try to live by
It seems to work for this old duffer
So why don't you give it a try
Upon waking up every morning
Before you jump out of bed
Count all your blessings one by one
Keep them stored in your head
As each day presents its challenges
Remember your many blessings
Be thankful for all the little things
Enjoy life and it's dressings
Now it may not be totally foolproof
But at least you're on the right track
Trust me you'll be ahead of the game
And happiness you surely won't lack
So listen up all ye poets out there
Let me know how it works out
Hope it's a positively roaring success
From the rooftops go on and shout!
Gazook, hallelujah and fun stuff upbeat
Before jumping out of your bed
Count your blessings stored in your noggin
There's not a single thing to dread
Christmas sugar pop landing
Submarines yellow, parachute up
Count each seed before planting
Together bright suns daisies rise
Seeds remember merry joy rides
Going faster depends on where you are
Tidal waves tsunami good-bye
Firecrackers on golden sands
Sparkly bright lights burst a happy blast
Heaven fills with bubbled up liquid
Orange capacity is a concept pretty
Easter is north of the Shirley Temples
Toys fly by ships lollipop
Go south from there on polka dots
It never rains in California... for sure
Good umbrellas cost a pretty penny
Coast to coast by roller coaster
Standards remain in the pink
Spend more time than money
Hang ten on the surf board butter
Water slides by in a blink
On cotton candy carnival
Give us a kiss honey bun mix
One hell of a ride my love
Christmas sugar pop landing
Is the last stop on the line
When you’re counting God’s gifts
Do you use just one hand,
Or are both hands not ever enough?
And does life never goad,
Standing there by the road
As your brain whispers “Things are so rough!”
When a head light finds you,
Do you freeze like a deer?
You could use its occasion to run!
New “life” frozen on wall,
Immortality's yours,
Your “points” trophy of narcissist’s gun!
Think you haven’t a choice?
Weren’t you given a voice?
Did you just stay at home and not vote?
Deer can slay hunters too!
Tell me what you will do?
Why not give him both barrels, just quote!
You could poison the roots
Of the buffoon’s beanstalk,
Watch the giant's neck break in the fall.
Or just throw him in jail,
Putin’s boy toy revealed,
A great outcome, endearing to all.

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
My soul is in a storm out in the raging sea.
Selfishly I have said those words to our Father in Heaven.
I pray that my lamentations will be ultimately forgiven.
Last Christmas my sister gave me a “Count Your Blessings” jar.
It sits empty, unused, since I was only counting my scars.
I’m going to get that jar out and put my poems in it each day,
And thank God for giving me my poems and blessings as I pray.

Count your blessings
We look at the challenges we are facing
How constantly problems are pressing
At how trials are stressing
Subdued in them, we forget to count our blessings
We look at the bad
We are super scared
We worry, we tarry
We throw no party
As if we are blind;
We seek but can’t find
The joy in being alive
We seldom celebrate life.
Oh men, will you try to live
Forgetting not how lucky you are
Appreciating what you have
It may not seem so important when we have it
Because we have it, a little ungrateful
But imagine how worse it’d be if we lacked it.
Think of why those without it crave it.
Then turn around, hug it and embrace it.
