Too Close

The moon is so close to earth.
I get to see the people of the world at their worst.
You better count your blessings while you can,
Because with a new day comes a new man.
The world throws us,
...Everyone knows us.
And I'm just one girl.
I don't have all the answers for you.

Count Your Blessings

18 months ago he married
late
the love of his life
and in january a child was born
a cough he couldn't cure
was lung cancer
3 months later he is dead
dead
gone to the child to the woman
gone to his mother, his brothers
and all who loved him
life is short
chances are few
count your blessings

Premium Member All Leading To One

Plucking strings of luck, pushing eternity forward
Life leaves us breathless and maybe lost for words
Fragile are the cracks of something once shattered
Mend how you are able to, believe in what mattered
Count your blessings before spending that hallowed
All leading to one until the path must be followed

Melancholy

Melancholy

The sky was blue today
And some pelicans were soaring above
Some clouds skipped along on high
And the air was full of love

For we are here in this precious world
Made for us in all its worth
Please count your blessings each one
And remember those who who have left this earth.

So, my friend, world got you down a bit, eh?
Things just aren't going your way?
~ Well, how are your elbows?

And how are your wrists? How are your fingers?
How are your fists? --O.K., you say?
Thought so! Have a nice day!

It's all about perspective, sleepyhead
Wake up! Quit your complaining!
~ Count your blessings instead!

Clear your minds of troubles,
If only for today
It will give your heart a lift
And blow troubling thoughts away.

Try to occupy your thoughts,
On things that bring a smile,
You will find yourself smiling too
In a little while.

Count your blessings,
We all have quite a few.
There are many in this world,
Who would change places with you?

My beloved count your blessings, Not your Sorrows Be thankful for what you have And not what you borrow Be gracious and give even If it's just a little being selfish and fitting Bless those less fortunate Embrace no less those needy Be encouraging and graceful Redeem your confession

Brighter Day

Tears of the sun, ray's of falling rain, catch a rainbow then watch it slowly fade. Grab
ahold of today, watch tomorrow disappear; hold onto happiness, let go of the fear.
Try something new, leave a fading life, count your blessings, throw away your strife.
Collect a heart, save a soul, wash your blues away. Thank someone you've never
known, and make this a brighter day!

Crooked House

Crooked House
 Be content.
 Don’t take life for granted.
 Crooked house.
 Be you all around.
 Sometimes pulling weeds.
 Complaining, don’t feed.
 Through harvest.
 It's a test.
 Be concontent.
 Each day is a gift.
 Sometimes down in the valley.
 Count your blessings.
 Short on change.
 That's O.K.
 Grateful anyway.
 Down to earth.
 Don’t ask for much.
 A crooked house.

Start with your heart:
Count your blessings,
Make love your art,
Work true feelings.

Dare live each day:
Craft fine living,
Make joy your pay,
Live life seeing.

Seize your true fate:
Breathe well-being,
Prize happy date,
Set true dreaming.

End where you start:
Live grand loving,
Sync mind and heart,
Love lives laughing.

Premium Member A Mother Is The Greatest Treasure On Earth

A Mother is earths greatest treasure
she remains in her children's heart forever;
Long after she has left this earth,
the warmth of her last smile will linger
in the halls of your memory, endlessly.
May the love you once shared be enough
to get your through the grieving years
And when you find yourself missing her
Kim, may you count your blessings
more profoundly than you count your tears.

Premium Member Life Is Short

Life Is Short
so why not
make it sweet also
It is fragile,
can be taken from
you in an instant.
Value it deeply,
don't take it for granted
because you never know
when it will be
exhausted, finished
Savor each moment
Count your Blessings
Enjoy all the fruits
that it has to offer
As long as you
have your health
you're ahead of the game
Be grateful for we
are only on this Earth
for a minuscule time

Don't Need Much

Don’t Need Much
 Live without wealth.
Have some bread on the table.
 Remain humble.
 Not above anyone.
 Keep life simple.
 Enough to pay the bills.
 Walk the narrow road.
 Live in solitude.
 Don’t need to be rich.
 Nor famous.
Grateful to own my own house.
 I live in the south.
 Don’t need much.
 Just a few bucks.
 Don’t go into debt.
 Just another burden.
 Just me with some coffee.
 Count your blessings.

Start well each day
Pray as you play

Count your blessings
Love grand living

See how you see
What's yet to be

Yield to the light
That sculpts things bright

Each blessing tells
A touching spell

Come gather round
As happy grounds

Live peace of mind
That mellows finds

Learn to live whole
Start with your soul

Joy makes happy
Shine on brightly

IT IS THE LOST SHOE

Feelings is something
That is unexpected
It makes you think
Love is something
That is felt
It makes you wander
Categories of falling in love,

These are the days
Of revelations
Count your blessings
These are the days
Of knowing
Count your sequences
It is What it is,

Unconditional love is something
That is acquired
Ask yourself
Trust is something
That is build
Explore yourself
Categories of knowing yourself

Count Your Blessings

Often circumstances can conspire,
to make a life's experience dire.
If this should ever happen to you,
this is what you ought to do.
Look around yourself to see,
if there is a worse place you could be,
and usually you'll find 'tis so,
there's somewhere worse where you could go,
and the poor beggars dwelling there,
have many more woes about which to care,
so count your blessings and sing in praise.
You're better off than them, oh happy days!

When your loved ones
are safe, healthy and happy
you get a mammoth
feeling of content
where everything is
serene and passive

You count your blessings
and understand
that life is transparent
can be altered
in a flash - - -
One transaction

can totally change
your surroundings,
your well-being
So you enjoy these times,
realize the significance,
bask in the triumphant

underpinnings of gratification
for your patience, perseverance.

To Ted and Debbie

A brother and sister should
always be friends,
One for the other, who
Cares and defends.

A brother and sister should
always be kind,
Love one another,
Lives intertwined.

A brother and sister should
always be there,
To love and to cherish, to
show that you care.

A brother and sister should
always be brave,
Together forever, cradle
to grave.

Count your blessings,
Love each other a ton,
Someday, too soon,
there will only be one.

Wednesday

Back and forth
Day and night
yin and yang
fight or flight

hold that smile
kid yourself later
that ghost Within
is your own creator

Pride & Power
soon will sour
count your blessings
hour to hour

Family and friends
one in the same
they come and go
so remember your name

be kind to all
black a red hearts
forgive yourself
and those who tore you apart

you are no angel
you yourself have done wrong
I write this in hopes
We may all remain strong

And Water! YES!
Complimentary;
"On The House!"

"Relectuntly,"
Muttered Under
Her Breath...

You Know?
We Have A LOT
Of Water,
Sooooo... Much...

Some Planets,
A LOT Of Places...
Nearly Everywhere!
Have Practically
NO Water
AT ALL.

You Should
Count Your Blessings...
Very Rare...

You Need To Know
How Extraordinary It Is
You EVEN EXIST!

What A Blessing To
Be Alive, To Be You!

Now, Here's Your Water!

These Times

Someone meditated, someone prayed.
Count your blessings,share your blessings
In this uncertain times,
Mother's Day looked different this year
Weekends look boring this times
Our carefully crafted illusion
Of predictable security
An invisible enemy
Illuminated hidden lines
Si movement comes most often without motion
When this is over
We may never again take for granted
A handshake with a stranger
Full stores
Crowded night outs
The stadium roaring
So love at this times
