Friday the 13th'

In recent years a amazing thing has happened to the number Thirteen,
Adding Friday, and the movies, Freddie Kruger has entered the Big Screen.
A silly guy with tights, entering dreams and prowls around at night.
Murdering, slashing, and it is a ridiculous sight.

Well in ancient times it wasn't always that way,
The number 13 was revered as a lucky number, a great day.
A calendar with 13 months, suns and moons were the norm here.
Thirteen months, not 12 was the calendar year.

It was considered lucky, and a blessed day,
Cleopatra was up for it all the way.
The ancients didn't hide or cringe at this day or think anything bad,
They celebrated with pomp and were not at all sad.

A lot of people have a misconception of the number thirteen.
Unlucky, like black cats is mentioned on our national scene.
People all around the world cringe when it's Friday the Thirteenth,
Some don't even leave their homes or work on this day, to me it's obscene.

Thirteen? Well I tell you it's just a number nothing else,
It happens just a few times a year, and should be ignored as unlucky for yourself.
The Lord has a way of laughing I bet at this utter nonsense,
How can a number be anything but that, it makes no sense.

Superstitious mumbo jumbo has taken over our daily lives,
As we let it scramble our moral thinking while humanity is trying to survive.
What is in this day that allows people to act so strange? To actually cringe,
As they let it confuse and disrupt our lives, a pretty strange thing.

Superstition is the devil's crafty invention, to confuse and create chaos,
to really confuse and get away from our Lord and Jesus.
When the Freddie Kruger's creeps into our conscious minds at night,
Allowing this day, the thirteenth, to become a social blight.

So pray that the Kruger's won't confuse your thoughts and let God lead the way,
Friday the thirteenth is a blessed and God given day.
The ancients had this number and they had a fun filled event,
l3 was lucky to them and laughing is how this day went.

Be thankful and count your blessings that the Lord has given us today,
Take the time to reflect and get down on your knees and pray.
That the devil will be put behind all of us Christians, and we should be thankful,
That our Creator is with us , we have no fear, and we are totally grateful.

Being In the Now

Being in the NOW

This is a simple secret of happiness. It is so simple, that one may wonder, “How something like ‘Being in the NOW’ can guarantee eternal happiness?” But it can. It is a sure way of living with peace and joy.

It’s a big challenge

While it seems so simple, being in the NOW is a big challenge. We are slaves of our mind and we rarely achieve this state of being in the NOW. The fault is not ours. The fault is that of our mind. Before we know it, it slips into a thought of the past. Gone, our NOW is kidnapped! By the time we catch the kidnapper, the mind, and bring it to the table, it gently jumps into the future. It hijacks our life to a new destination. Yes, it holds us to ransom, and the biggest problem – we don’t even know it. It is a big challenge to be in the NOW. But if we can, we can be assured of peace and happiness.

The NOW is peaceful and blissful

Just for now, focus on this moment. Breathe some fresh air, as you count your blessings. Just look through your beautiful eyes and enjoy the nature you see. Stop and hear some amazing music. Don’t think. Stop your mind from drifting away. Just be in the NOW and do what you love to do. Maybe it is making love, but don’t let your mind think of how your heart broke when you made love last year.

Being in the NOW

Just enjoy the present moment. If you prefer, just sink your teeth into your favourite fruit and enjoy the moment. For you, it may be just playing the piano. Whatever makes your moment blissful, just for now, do that. You will find so much joy and peace.

Why lose this moment?

When the NOW can be so beautiful, why lose it? It is sad that we don’t even realize that we are losing moments, moment by moment. The NOW is ours, but somebody robs it and the NOW is gone. We let our NOW get destroyed. Not just that, instead of being happy and peaceful in the NOW, we permit our NOW to be filled with misery and sorrow. What a shame! We must resolve not to lose this moment. This moment belongs to us, it is ours. It is our biggest treasure. It is this moment and the next and the next that actually constructs our life. Moments create days, days create weeks, weeks create months, months create years and all of these create our life. If we lose the moment, we lose life, a life that was meant to be peaceful and joyous.

My Only Childhood Friend That Never Threw Me Away

She's on the Verge
Joe cool
She talks to her hand
like seriously duh
the joke im not telling
we used to be witches writing poetry in coffee shops
smoking pot in serene gardens
and if it wasn't for Ginger my dog
that ran away to make love to Winchester
when she was in heat
we never would have met when we were eight
and still friends
but she tells me its because of me she's crazy

She wants me to remove pro creations that are stalking her
something tells me she's visited the funny farm too many times
I've been there
I've seen it
I know
But me and Joe
we are two of a kind
But I could be bluffing
maybe we're part of a royal flush

I'm space ace from mars
and she's a voodoo queen
to complete the circle of a long lost God in Girlfriend
Only the watchtowers know what that truly means

How did i get soo lucky her mother asked
but I'm not lucky at all
count your blessings and learn to read between the lines
because this mystic in your life
from your tree of fruits and loins did she fall
I'm a gullible god
and so are you
the tower of Babel has fallen
and she doesn't know what to do

so when she speaks the tongue of spirituality or which
and all you hear is psycho babble
it doesn't sound like
sneesh cheep bleep flap jip hap frew
she makes sense to me with words shes obsessing
i just wish you would take it on yourselves to read up on it
to understand her to communicate
instead of sending her to the hospital

Those pills make her
talk to her hand
and those lies are mostly true
fact is stranger than fiction
and together your family can pull through
even those doctors
are a little bit mad at that tea party
and shes never thrown me away after what I've been through
i love her to pieces
so should you

shes always been there for me
and when we lose touch she searches high and low for me
when you lose touch
there are more than one thing u can do

shes had exorcisms
and a low self esteem
date rape by succesfull well respected men
and everyone said it was blasphemy
it's not easy but it could be worse
believe you me
she's beautiful on the inside
and soo many soo called sane people
are beautiful outside
but uglier than sin if you ask me

Fish Out of Water

I'm in a little bit of pain love, I just slit my vein love, the color is draining from my face as the blood drains from my veins love, do you really believe in love, love?, Do you believe in kindness, do you believe that what we want in this life we can find it, do you think the world will ever change?, Am I too stange to exist love?, Am I deranged ? The pain only persists love, I try to find hope from above but I see a dove fly only to crash into bricks love, would this feeling ever truly go away love? Torn and scorned, wishing she was never born, birthed on this Earth that's distorted, pro-life but conflicted cause she wishes she was aborted, I'm feeling cold love ,a feeling I know well love, what do you think being dead feels like love? Do you think it tastes like freedom and smells like a lovely song ,do you think it looks like birds chirping or a fish outa water, do you think death is nicer world to roam ,do you know that death is a thought in which I always felt at home, would you hate me if I went home love? Would you curse me as you dwell in the world of the living or would you understand and be forgiving? Should I apply pressure to this wound love, am I leaving this world too soon love? Or should I continue to bleed out as I cry and ask the world why, why are you the way that you are, why am I the way that I am? Is this truly part of the plan, this hand I am dealt ,my palms are clammy, this game has been a calamity, Is there a time where the dust will settle and I rebuild from the ruins,I've done this before but I feel defeated, laying on the ground white flag half up, uncertain ,on the boarderlands of life and death not knowing which front I'm in favor of most days, lost in the haze, dead soul reaps in my gaze, vacancy ,seeking a vacation from the anquish, but maybe I have relinquished hope and maybe this is what made things hopeless, do you feel hopeful love?, do you count your blessings from above love?, have I fallen ill due to lack of gratitude love? What should I do with this cut love? Should I let it bleed me dry or try to sew it up love? I don't know what to do so I'm having this hypothetical conversation with you in my head as I debate on if not I'd be happier and better off dead

Sweet Lucy Part-1

I was in the coffee house, sipping from that old cup.
I was in New York; winter had never felt so cold,
Yet fitting for such a cold hearted city as this
It was at mid-night, just me and the bar keeper.
He must have gotten a cold, for he kept on rubbing his nose

I drank my last cup of coffee for the road, and made my way,
With a 2 dollar dip in the jar; it was dark and yet another scream
From the dark alley, it all seems normal for the lost of life.
It was snowing, like the snow angel herself was here in this city.

As I walked across the alley,
As that alley was a shortcut to my apartment
Maybe I was cheap to take a taxi!
Too cheap to even consider using my own car
But, hay, saving fuel is saving environment or something.
I heard a noise or was it my imagination,
A little puppy, shivering, loss, hungry and cold
She had cute round eyes and stared at me,
With brown hair, alone with spotted white fur around her neck
And long ears, I just couldn't ignore her.

I looked around and saw no one looking for her,
What was I thinking? Surely nobody would care if i just took this puppy in.
I took off my coat and warp the sweet little thing;
"The city that doesn't care, life is a strange thing."
As I made my way to my apartment,
I wondered, of what I should call her;
'Lucy sounds nice, don't you think", as I pet her.

My apartment is too big for me, just a lonely place for my head to rest.
I fed her some of the leftovers. She just kept on munching
Police sirens and helicopters, "ah…the sound of the concrete jungle"
Count your blessings the priest says, count your money the city says.
Fortunate or not I was lucky to cross path with Lucy, sweet little thing.
She kept on barking, with her tail shaking,
She seemed excited to be in her new home.

Gave her a good hot bath, she made quiet a messed!
She was playful, I slept on my couch in front of the fireplace,
Nothing new, on my television screen;
The same old news, gags, game shows, you know... excreta!
Lucy was something new though, she slept on my belly,
She looked so innocent and peaceful, Lucy…sweet little thing in my life.
I gently pet her, and slowly played my saxophone.

Gods Brilliant Purpose For You

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember.

Noah was a drunk
 Abraham was too old
 Isaac was a daydreamer
 Jacob was a liar
 Leah was ugly
 Joseph was abused
 Moses had a stuttering problem
 Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
 Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
 Elijah was suicidal
 Isaiah preached naked
 Jonah ran from God
 Naomi was a widow
 Job went bankrupt
 Peter denied Christ (3 times!)
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
 Martha worried about everything
 Mary Magdalene was promiscuous
the Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once...
 Zaccheus was too small
 Paul was too religious
 Timothy had an ulcer....

AND
 Lazarus was dead!
 Now! No more excuses!
God can use you to your full potential.
Besides, you aren't the message, you are just the
 messenger.
 And one more thing...

1. God wants spiritual fruits, not religious nuts.

2. "Dear God : I have a problem. It's me.

Answer from God: " My Dear Child: I have the solution. It's Me! !"

3. Growing old is inevitable ... growing UP is optional.

4. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.

5. Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.

6. Do the math .. count your blessings.

7. Faith is the ability to not panic.

8. Laugh every day. It's like inner jogging.

9. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.

10. As a child of God , prayer is kind of like calling
 home every day.

11. Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be
 bent out of shape..

12. The most important things in your house are the
 people! ..

13. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still.
God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.

14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.

15 He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Have a great day!!! The SON is shining and He
 can certainly use you!.

Making It Great In 2008 (Part 4): In the Lord's Supper Partake

in order to make the 2008 great, just receive the Lord Jesus Christ
and then everything will simply come to an accord in your life
as most of our worries and anxieties occur because we have not learn to trust
to trust in the Lord God and know that He will take care of us
we're constantly on pins and needles when there really is no need
we're unwilling to let go and to God concede
Jesus told us to come to Him in any form or fashion
but to come to Him with an honest heart and a true passion
as God has already put all of our blessings into place
it's just up to us to accept Him in all His wisdom and His grace
to recognize the hand of God and how He works in your life
to bow down to his authority and that of His son's Jesus Christ
to develop the patience of a man like Job and learn to wait in time
God might put you on hold so just stay on the line
as all things come together for those who love the Lord
and all you have to do is honor Him in accord

in order to make the year 2008 great
in the Lord's Supper you should partake
to eat of the bread and drink of the wine
the body of Christ and the blood from the vine
to find your joy in the Lord and on the Word meditate
to find contentment with your life and in the Spirit congregate
pray to the Lord and then put the situation in His hands
pray to the Lord and trust in His master plans
thank Him always and then go count your blessings
thank Him always that you're no longer stressing
there may be many things you might not have, but that's okay
for those things may be a hindrance to you and make you from God go astray
just stay on the highway of life that is morally true and straight
and every month in the Lord's Supper you should partake

In rememberence of Him who died for our sin and our shame
In rememberence of Him the One with the most powerful name

so step up to the Lord's table and don't falter nor hesitate
and in the Lord's Supper partake and celebrate
and that's how to make the year 2008 great

Premium Member Freedom and Liberty the Price We Pay

The price we pay for our freedom is not contained in a man’s wallet,
Nor is liberty a currency found in a female fancy Gucci pocketbook.

It’s not in anyone’s liquidity portfolio investment bank records,
Nor is it contained in anybody's “Wall Street” premier trust fund accounts.

Reverently, the price we pay is not derived from ensuing wealth.
The red blood of freedom travels naturally in our veins—immutable!

Freedom has been ordained from creation in the lives of all people.
Liberty runs from heart to heart, inspires from soul to soul—sours like an eagle!

It’s linking parents to children, brother to sister, displaying courage.
Generations standing on the shoulders of generations—a fighting refuge!

The price we pay for our freedom and liberty—will never be free!
Historical accounts tried; produced no detailed cost—"It’s a sacred decree!”

The price paid has clearly left budgets—fragmented and unbalanced,
Red poppies blooming in the fields of courageous remembrance!

It has triggered aching souls, caused running nostrils, and weeping eyes.
Ladies wearing dark veils, and men black suits—great spirits that never die!

Uplifting hand and heads under the moon and sparkling stars at night.
Courage inspiring life in delight to continue the fight without—fright nor flight!.

Many look forward to more significant liberating inspiration to come.
Brilliantly embracing the shining new embolden golden rays of the rising sun.

Such a priceless premium runs in our veins and precious arteries.
The price paid for liberty and freedom is entrenched in our hearts naturally!

Have an awesome day, don't forget to pray, stay encouraged, inspired, ingenious, resilient, mindful, enlightened, and blessed always!

Joe's Struggle

Here comes Joe. He is hard to look at. The poor man cannot lift his head. Joe suffers from Parkinson’s disease, severe osteoporosis, eczema and cataracts. Joe shakes and drools. He cannot walk and he barely talks. Things were not always so tough for Joe. At one time he was a healthy working member of society. Over the years Joe’s heath has deteriorated to what it is today.

What keeps Joe going? You would think that someone like Joe would just give up, stay in bed waiting to die. But Joe is a fighter. He fights to go to church every Sunday and worship God. It is the one thing he lives for. He claws his way into his wheelchair and after much struggle he finds his way to the exit to board the bus. He endures the harsh elements and the rough ride to get to church. Joe suffers the stares and rude comments of the people out in the public. He is oblivious to it. He does not care. He has one goal and one goal only and that is to get to church and worship God. Where does Joe get his strength? God is the answer.

If you take time to listen to Joe he will tell you how great God is. He is not angry and has no bitterness toward God for his maladies. While we do not understand why God allows some diseases to strike some people and not others, I do know God is using Joe as an example of suffering and the love of God. No matter what our condition in life is we can look to God for strength and he will help us to carry on thru our trials in life.

How insignificant my feeble problems are and how weak are my excuses for forgetting God. I pray that I will always have the strength and courage that Joe has when it is time to go to church and worship God. So when you see Joe, say a prayer for him and count your blessings. Pray that you do not face the burdens that Joe has. And if you take time to look and listen, Joe can change your life as he has mine.

Premium Member Change of Life In An Instant

Instant Change of Life.

Strange how life can change so quickly
In the mere blink of an eye
One moment you dwell in the dark cold gutter
The next your flying joyfully through the sky
And almost touch the sun
Your bed a bed of roses instead
Of a bed of nails
Must when you think your life is over
It’s only just begun
Your ship of dreams washed upon the rocks
And suddenly your sailing once more
When you feel trapped you turn around
To find an open door

Live can be a blessing
Or life can become a curse
You may only appreciate what you've got
Until it’s gone and you hurt
One day you can be a King
The next day
Find yourself upon the street
And instead of having lots of subjects
By your side
You have nothing on your feet

Your health may suddenly
Turn from good to bad
Your face drop it’s smile and you look sad
A letter may come unexpectedly
With bad news out of the blue
You meet up with someone you knew long ago
And your friendship starts anew

Life has many twists and turns
Some of us get wiser
Some of us never learn
You can never guarantee anything in life
And many obstacles may stand in your way
Be mindful count your blessings
Make the most of what you have
And the most of everyday

Only time will tell
Change is inevitable
And Without you
The world still revolves
And life goes on
Over our destiny we may have little control
But the way we deal with it
Is what matters most

But God through his undeserved kindness
Gives us hope to cling onto
With surety
When this wicked world will soon be gone
Our only hope for true happiness
With joy and no more sadness
Open your hearts to him
Through his word appreciation for all things
And supplication of prayer
For God listens if your prayers are earnest
And remember
He cares.
