routine we assumed as addictive
is discarded instantly on demand
as of suggestions of the universe
with which our presence complies
it is simply an observation
validating perhaps thinning of ego
wherein all that remains is Self
embodied within organic form

The day of two superpowers
Passing white clouds amidst blue skies
Heaven's sprinkling blesseth showers
Turquoise blue lagoon compromise
Surface inviting raindrop scours
Lush influence by butterflies
Delicate petals of flowers
Redolent coercion complies
Defining times Happiest Hours
The mother of the bride still cries
The bride end days of wallflower's
The daddy's sentimentalize
The proud bridegroom man of the hour
Exchanging vows and sharing eyes
The rings, kiss, bell tolls church tower
Engagement ends and new arise
Family, balance of power
Garter and bouquet caught, surprise
Then culminating, zero hour.

I thought I’d have to leave my favored spot
and go inside this warm and humid day.
My pleas for respite must have been perceived,
for Nature sent a soothing breeze my way.

Near the fountain stands the male
In iridescent glory,
But his mate begins this tale,
A true Manhattan story.
These same ducks have made their home
Outside a high-rise building.
I see them swim or sleep or roam;
The truth requires no gilding.
This morning, early, as he waits,
The female, with intention
Of what she now anticipates,
Insists on prompt attention.
She marches right up to the door,
By which a doorman’s standing
And opens up her beak to score
The meal she is demanding.
In full regalia, he complies
And grabs a baggie waiting,
Then shoos some pigeons to the skies,
Their hope for food deflating.
He sprinkles breakfast for the pair,
Who gustily start eating
And I walk on so I can share
This urban morning meeting.

driving myself full of joy
earning mileage benefits of pure happiness
on cruise control with my eyes closed and you in my arms
of course you tell me to keep my eyes on the road
however the way you are feeling right now makes me wanna do some thangs
you laugh at me and 'boy, watch the doggone road!'
i comply for i know that her rather innovative hands will thank me later
the end result is worth the frequency of being consistently frequent
when we reach our destination, i kiss her warm lips with no hesitation
she playfully hits me on my right arm and says 'damn, can we unpack first?'
smiling wickedly, i reply by saying, 'confounded, woman, i already KNOWWWWW what i wanna unpack first!'
she complies

Heart always tries
Hate always lies
Fear complies
Conundrum tears
fall midstream
Rationalization relents
Reason wins out
Confidence returns
Loss is gain
Less is more
Patterns lost
A better life ensues
Moments of abiding
Consciousness complete
Emptiness explained
Spiritual sailing
Means justify ends
Lie, Death we walk as one
We trip the Black hole together

The night is cold
Its calmness is bold
Spring doth fold
In its manifold
My-my-my baby's not old
Your tender smiles
Make my moonlight shines
Your pretty eyes
Make my morning flies
My-my-my baby complies
The earth too knows
How sadly I glow
Just whisper so
I'll dash for what heav'n bestows
My-my-my baby my beau
The joy as you call
For Mama "ma-ma"
Fills my spirit for I'm your momma
O your cackles do get me enthralled
My-my-my baby my love
Your call is alluring
Your love is assuring
My soul is the offering
I'll see you glo-rying
My-my-my baby my dar-ling
Your life at birth
Was my journey to death
You stayed and wept
Whilst I took my last breath
My-my-my baby Macbeth
I'll always come
To watch over you
And sing you songs
As I can't hold you close
My-my-my baby I'm near

Clements’ Mazda fully in control
Just crazily ran out of petrol,
His Humble Catarrh out of control
With obvious depletion of Menthol;
Not a thing solved by mere vitriol
Or plunging into angry patrol…
A hateful running out of supplies,
Both car and organ needing replies:
To surfacing at a bank complies;
A use of its ATN implies…
Next, straight dash to a filling station,
Never trying to Mammon ration:
At the nearest waiting pharmacy,
Thousands simply spending, no mercy:
For The Stranded after 10:00pm
Dreams not at all of eluding them…
Mazda Owner Turns Mazda Loser,
Snatcher with Family now User!

ethereal passes... !

The lichen clings to his trunk
Like she has for ages
Holding fast, curling tight
In pale green companionship
The oak tree smiles down at her
Craggy smile, chafed and gnarled with time
To admire her diligence, to coexist
At the meeting place where two form one
When the rain taps in multitudes on his leaves
When the night sweeps over like a funeral veil
When the day lifts it as a morning bride
Still she holds him, squeezing herself to his chest
He begins to wonder, as trees sometimes do
If it is time for her to uncurl, unlatch
For all the gifts that she provides, and he returns
Perhaps it’s time to diverge, to greet separate horizons
But a stubborn, steadfast thing she is
And for all his hoping and itching for progress
She holds on, past the eleventh hour
Past his need for her embrace
And now when the wind whistles through,
It sounds more like a wistful sigh,
For the lichen promises and whispers
And the fond old oak tree complies
“Loving someone enough to let them go
doesn’t always work.”

Oh, if they could understand our love
They would see what I see in your eyes
Ev’ry star that lights the sky above
Not the diff’rent worlds our love belies
They would see what I see in your eyes
Touch, peerless in nature, taunts the dove
Not the diff’rent worlds our love belies
Purring softness, I can but dream of
Touch, peerless in nature, taunts the dove
Stallions such as I, cannot disguise
Purring softness, I can but dream of
Notions of my soul, my heart complies
Stallions such as I, cannot disguise
Ev’ry star that lights the sky above
Notions of my soul, my heart complies
Oh, if they could understand our love

Consideration asks a price
a quota given to admit
those desiring passage to
the lettered realms confirming self
these domains are only blessed
by occupants residing there
it’s no wonder that obstacles
are erected as consequence
identity is denied
as a measure that complies
with the checklist written by
experts docked with battle scars
instead dire standards are applied
disregarding pretentious folks
deemed so by their eager wills
to exist outside of ills.

So what are we reduced to?
This dust in the atmosphere
Abandoned by all we're used to
We're no longer welcome here.
The pressure's building like always
10 feet under a sea of lies
Lurking in dark, murky hallways
Conniving till one soul complies.
This is what he is reduced to
And yet his kingdom somehow thrives
A nagging devil, by now I'm used to
Destroying angels and innocent lives
Temptations as prevalent as ever
But I'm on the rock - firm and sincere
No matter how cunning or clever,
He's no longer welcome here.
