Caricature

A caricature is just a poem
told in silly pictures.
A single moment ,
captured by the artist.
It tells a story
with funny features
and bright, bold colors—
it always makes me smile.

Quiet porch and a lazy chair,
sitting for a while is a song.
A blue collar stereotype.

Highlights visible from the air,
bold italics will show up strong.
Iconic, working that pinstripe.

Dusk saunters in devil may care,
sizzling whatever could go wrong?
Tipple a taste of this peace pipe.

Like a view of the county fair,
the big girl rides go all night long.
Such fine architectural hype.

I have built my diorama,
a caricature of drama.

PARODY

pithy never uncouth with a short bitter  truth
perhaps  ironic  & or a little  sardonic

a satire of which many never will tire

A Remarkable Caricature

I am praying for an eternal silence,
Your loudest move is just another offence.
I have been open to you for the longest period,
The interpretation you want to pursue is just making you an idiot.

I have never been so close to a clown,
I have never felt so wilfully drowned,
I cannot express the audacity to call you an unthinkable pride,
I cannot have the gratitude to be your undying guide.

I want to lead a life of the fullest norms,
You are just an unknown necessity that I have always seen in silly worms.
You are full of loquacity,
I am nothing to your pertinacity.

You want to judge the desecrated smile of Monalisa,
I want you to draw a similar structure on your countenance.
Everyone might be perplexed,
I don't want you to be suppressed.

You might not be a cenotaph of the transparent authority,
I don't want you to be that bargained mendacity.
I want you to walk through a thousand rivers,
To me, this river Life is nothing but a remarkable caricature.

An old green tractor next to a red barn;
Horses, cows, and ducks fill up the pasture;
Surrounded by foliage at every turn
I inhale deep the sweet smell of nature;
A farm full of fruit trees for that I yearn,
they taste perfect like a caricature;
Roosters silhouette as the Sun's rising,
bucolic scenes right out of a painting.

Premium Member Speech Is a Caricature of Thought

Speech is a caricature of thought
Thoughts are
Refined, graceful, delicate
Speech is
Clumsy, rough, awkward
We translate
Thought to speech
But never see
How flawed the process
Can be
In my mind
I sound debonair
And without a care
But in my voice
I sound like nails on a chalkboard
And I realized
Something is lost
In translation
But writing
Is the perfect medium
Where thought
And speech
Become intertwined
Giving life
To blank paper
Giving life
To beautiful thought
And maybe
Speech isn't just a caricature of thought
But a manifestation
Of the soul
Finding refinement
When written

Premium Member Reality Show Caricature Norms

some may remember the
long past remainders of old
early twentieth century years

wars and depressions wracked
cultures to the ground and people
shared with poor hungry strangers

most workers were of a manual education
with poor language and academic skills that
reflected a whole society stressed for decades

now times are different rules and regulations
to preserve profitable new consumer social norms
and also the illusion that the early days are over.....

well - stress is still with us - so

canada's one dollar coin -loon symbol- brands it as the 'loonie' andt
the two dollar coin has morphed its name to be the 'twoonie' thus
walking into a store or paying a bill can be seen a loonie toon-ed adventure

Sun overhead
Our shadow is small
Heart heavy as lead
Back against a wall

Consciousness contracted
By believing that the caricature
Is us, magnificence subtracted
Crestfallen at our fallen stature

Within the bubble of illusion
We take to be reality
Sleep walking in delusion
We are our own casualty

Observing our coordinates
From a centred stance
As duality oscillates
We see our schizophrenic dance

In stillness

Caricature

In the loyal veins have merged
The products of unbeliever, from birth to death though
I give recognition of being believer

Boycotting fires are burning
In the liberal grounds of banner-posters
Although liar I'm not the destroyer of mundane greed

The earthly mind cries for whom
Running after for what kind of enjoying hope
Like crazy horses, worshipping the cash
leaving the rest

I don't know who is enemy and who is ally in this world
Without the self knowledge this birth is like my caricature

I Met Ratan

the other day,
 he was the usual self
 bubbling and cheerful
 talking with a gusto
confirming with gestures

Half of his talk
I do not understand
as he converses in a triple tone
without modulations leaving
the  listener in a quandary.

He speaks of his  power
and stature, harps on his wealth,
 builds slowly a caricature
 of himself,  he  an investing
guru like Peter Drucker.

 My eyes  gets stuck
 my mind travels elsewhere
wherein I see him as a nonentity
who lacks sense, who confirms
his  literality.

Ice

Ice is water entombed,
ready to have vitality again and rise from the grave.
In a portrait portraying,
like the hangman-in confinement,
marooned at death's island prison,,
time cocooned, showing the need to learn to behave.
Or be shaved, shived, and broken.
In character, a caricature of nature in culture,
it's symbolic, parabolic token.

A stasis that reminds you to let yourself flow,
with enough warmth,
as to be a tributary, to life, not brittle,
unyielding and hard, or dead inside.
That can cut into people like a knife.

Rapture Caused By Caricature

Caricature is a picture, description, or imitation
of a person in which certain striking characteristics
are exaggerated that will create a comic or grotesque
effect.

Capture rapture caused by a caricature.

Cute clever clown
Face fronting frown

Stream stealing smiles
Prompt plunder piles

Sad story stays
Live limpid lay

Preach petty poise
Niche naughty noise

Loud laughter lives
Gaudy ground gives

Rich rivers run
Pick pretty pun

Characteristics of Caricature

Characteristics of Caricature

Never were quite certain or ever sure,
What became Characteristics of Caricature;
Not any joking;
Very provoking;
While we had to endure the overture.

Came Up With a Caricature

Came Up With A Caricature

We constantly came up with a caricature,
That was phony and too much to endure;
Surely odd;
Terrible bod,
And we knew that it was Trump for sure.

Diametrically Opposed

People did become diametrically opposed,
To anything Trump had possibly proposed;
What he did,
God forbid;
All of Trump's crimes ended up exposed.

Surviving His Driving

We dared disturbed Trump to start driving,
And never were sure we would be surviving;
Pulled a prank;
Emptied his tank;
Deserted Him and for cover we were diving.
