A little life you live

Holy or jolly, you live
Big and small demands to live
Happy or Sad moments are buried each day to live
One or many people close to live
King or Servant runs their life to live
Huge or less money is used to live
Beauty or ugliness still covers thoughts to live
One-on-one, we chase the world to live
Godly or worldly has an end, even if you want to live
Having Lord Jesus Christ in your life will reward you for eternity, forever you live

Premium MemberDriving an old car

Prominent now are wrinkles on our skin,
signalling decay of organic form,
yet divine magnetism throbs deep within,
engulfing us in currents cool and warm,
conjuring magically a bliss storm.
We are light of Self, not this body-mind;
feel us as heart’s vibrance, loving and kind.
To navigate life, we dwell in this shell
but to truth of who we are, we’re not blind,
being no longer under ego’s spell.

Premium MemberThe Night Sedans

Lumbar ladies stroll by as the night sedans plunder the ho-dad hostels.
Looking to find nothing except another dozing cigarette beyond the cadenzas.
Another hot afternoon in suburbia with the repeated barkings of a distant dog.
Billy boy in his red asphalt-eating machine turns the dial to San Bernardino.
There is cool music bobbing in the hot accepting winds, south of Dragons Head.
In smoggy Corona, the dizzy Volkswagens travel in circles like demented dogs.
Billy boy guns the engine as he and the Mexican chick cruise in a ’67 beetle.
They pass the Chuck Wagon, as Slim Harpo melts the sun with Little Liza Jane.
Traffic signals, and the elderberry trees, pretend to dance to the muted cadences.
The hot afternoon winds play their own love-games as Billy boy comes to a stop.
Brown-eyed señorita with long hair flowing tells Billy boy to turn up the sound.
‘Music is life,’ she says, as the red asphalt-eating machine turns left at 6th Street.
Lumbar ladies stroll by now as the night sedans receive the night’s embrace.
At City Park, Billy and his latin lady sleep soundly in the cottonwood darkness.

TANGERINE CHEVY

Remember when we walked to school?
Remember when we thought we were cool?
We were good friends in those years
Our laughter overcame any fears
We were young, we were pure
We were safe, we were sure
Nothing could hurt us
No one there to alert us
We thought it funny at first
But our bubble soon burst
When he drove up beside us
Offered to ride us . . .
Home in his tangerine Chevy.

Premium MemberMy Baby

No one can take my baby
‘cause she was meant for me.
My baby and I go cruisin’
and that’s when I feel free.

My baby takes me anywhere
that I could want to be.
Playing tunes, I take her
down curves that lead to the sea.

My baby looks cool, top down.
She’s smooth and she is fast.
The wind caresses us
as the shoreline we go past.

My baby’s built for comfort.
I stop and then recline,
gazing into the night
and feeling ever so fine.

My baby doesn’t mind
a single thing I do.
She’s just as sweet today
as when she was brand new.

My baby doesn’t get jealous
when I leave her until dawn.
She knows when the morning comes
again I’ll be turning her on.

I spend the night with my honey.
We both get up for the day.
I turn my baby on; she purrs
and she carries me away.

My baby’s a convertible -
a Mustang perfect for me.
My honey can jump in his jeep.
With my baby a while I’ll be!

Brusa Crom

She discovered why he smiles
so pleasantly towards her.
But she couldn't allow him to
think anything permanent or
futuristic. simply due to her lack of
not being anywhere attracted to him.
His freind told her to let him hear how
she cursed and smoke in front of
him: this would surely turn him off.
This would put any feelings towards
her to rest. Yet neither to inspire or
encourage him she did so.
His stomach soured towards her without
any regrets or furthering. In fact he began
avoiding her. Compare the dlow or
transference of: to either counter or clockwise.
The nuclei comes together
as the perfect absorber Her words the linear
line equal to. Musicality related verbs in genre.
The Flow. he walz the Flow.

The Quonset could be used. If Digging and Berming it
would be feasible and suitable for the task. The flat area
is unique enough for a house.

Live Fast, Love Dangerously

Steal James Dean's car
Paint it
Marlboro Red
Marina Blue
Cocaine White
Slip down and cruise the coast
Skip town on the drop of a dime
1955 Porsche 550 Spyder in the sunset
Fast as you can
No speed limit
Drive fast
Live Dangerously
Make love slow & passionate
Her blonde hair blowing in the wind
Not a care in the world
Engine and gears shifting
Smiles and fun
Living life
My destiny is with her in that car
Driving off into the sunset

Seat Belt

I've kept telling friend Elvis:
Belt secure across pelvis:
For chest that could hit the dashboard,
When crashes the car we board;
For the shocks from collision
That sometimes end Man's Mission;
Across his upper thigh fitted,
No fears of being outwitted;
Crash's worst forces withstanding
Their impacts not withstanding...

Seat belt for traveller's life
Achieves this without true strife;
Against jolts worse than a knife:
Traveller safe with his wife!

Yet,the wrongly adjusted
Had never safety boosted:
To still earn him"Cool Arrest"
Or a cop's glare,not the best.

Her Ripped Abdominal Region

The essences of beauty
This admiration
her walk her appearance
a stunning performance
of perfection
She walked timely to
the grooves basset riffs
Making the most caring of
men stop to watch her
One fella called her the
shamanistic Satan
Her body made men
want to know her story
One on looker grabbed
his bass and riffed
Mocking her walk
The other grabbed his
guitar and whispered
the treble
Grooving until she
Stood before them
She pulled up her skirt
in and kicked off her
heels and danced
In front of her
Shiney new car
Grooving
Moving
Dancing
A
Sensual dance
Ooh wee
We circled the wagon
and watched

Miles racing underneath lively conversation
Whistling road noises and occasional bumps,
Time passing slowly to our expected destination
As concrete expansion joints create thumps.

Whistling road noises and occasional bumps
Punctuating rhythmic sounds from the stereo,
As concrete expansion joints create thumps
Sense of contentment and pleasantry is apropos.

Punctuating rhythmic sounds from the stereo,
Cool breezes flow from open dashboard vents
Sense of contentment and pleasantry is apropos,
We are enjoying filtered outdoor autumn scents.

Cool breezes flow from open dashboard vents
Moderating the humidity of September heat
We are enjoying filtered outdoor autumn scents
A highly-anticipated road trip is totally upbeat.

Premium MemberTaking a Fall Drive

Drive at any season gives me immense fun,
I cannot afford many cars; yet, I've good one;
Drive during Fall, indeed, is very enchanting,
Especially, if through village roads, it's joy-granting...
From black-mud surface, dust, like fog arises,
Road seem unclear; yet, adventure provides surprises;
Muddy hillocks both the sides stand in welcome poses,
Bend tree-branches with twigs show-off their stiff noses;
Leaves, in multi-colors, are spread like fancy-carpets,
Grasses, peeping between leaves, seem to scatter in tit-bits;
Silk-cottons, bottle-brushes and fountain-trees exhibit red,
The Indian laburnum and golden bells seem gold-yellow-spread;
Magnolia, crape myrtle and crab-apples shine in pink,
While Rhododendrons and Wisteria stand dipped in blue-ink...
My car Air Conditioner is jobless as cool breeze all round blow,
End of colorful meadows, I could see clear streams flow;
With variety signatures of sun, the sky is magnificent,
I wish my drive could go on for years and eras without end...!

My Red Florid

MY RED FLORID
MY FIRST SET OF WHEELS
YOU LOOK VERY SMALL
BUT THERES A SAYING THAT,DYNAMITE COMES IN SMALL PACKAGES
AND GOODNESS OF A PUDDING IS IN THE EATING

MY RED FLORID
WHEN I GET INTO YOU,I CLIMB WITH SO MUCH PRIDE AND HONOUR
THE MINUTE I IGNITE YOU,YOUR ENGINE ROARS LIKE THAT OF A V8
WHEN WE HIT THE ROAD,YOU CATCH THE SPEED OF A FERRARI IN FORMULA 1

MY RED FLORID
YOU GIVE SO MANY CARS A ROUND FOR THEIR MONEY
YOU ARE EVERY DRIVERS NIGHTMARE
YOU LEAVE SO MANY AMAZED THAT THEY ASK WHAT BRAND YOU ARE
MY RED FLORID,MY FIRST SET OF WHEELS

Under the Mystery

The streets are vacant under the mystery rain gently falling as I gaze into the cold blue depth of a fluorescence-lit street

Languishing…

Under blaring lamps, the hardtop black flickers wet from the rain, I try to keep the cold night at bay with the sharp burn of rum as the city hums!

Lucidity… bright!

Overheard by none, it shimmers absently waiting to die.
I watch in horror a lingering dread, of a dark figure walking along the edge they gather their cloaks as the wind bluster!

Absently…flapping!

Something grows hot as at the tip of my fingers a cigarette burns dully in the light, I pull a drag of acidic smoke, I flick it into the wind, the hot tip smashes the ashes drift in spirals…spins!

Tilting…

Away, lazily in the wind, I feel the need for a shot of hot rum, I reach for my gun and turn into the wind gathering my thoughts, fading…

I feel the hum of the engine, the purr of its idle, the muffled sound of the radio, the street and its vacant MISERY!

The rain still falls gently on my face turning, feeling the mystery,
trying to shake the thoughts;

of needing a drink...

(Of Rum!)

Premium MemberYour Very First Car

Remember your very first car?
The freedom, the unlimited joy?
You felt like an adult, not a girl or boy!

It took minutes to get anywhere.
The library, the cool movies, the scented pizza place?
But you saw such sad eyes on your bicycle’s face!

How thrilling to rev that car motor, eh?
What people or things did we leave,
As we dressed up in our adolescent sleeves?

What warm and furry pets, left to pine?
While your red tail lights pulled away,
To live you life, as you well may?
