The lightning blinks through diaphanous air,
An enigmatic catharsis of the universe.
The thunderous exhale fleeting--
Ultraviolet tendrils grasping from the atmosphere.
A bolt illuminating the heavens with majestic bearing,
Smothering the canvas littered with stars in a flash,
Curling with a conniving kind of captivation--
A calamitous craft cracking through the cosmos.

Just the curtains veil from your window
Too dark only the omnipotent has great eyes
Vaguely so do I can't see you clearly through
Where soft comfort can't deny you simply lies.
I know how lonely you are inside with so much rage
Languishing in pain secretly others may not truly see
No courage to gain help to rescue like a bird in a cage
How life is innocuous not loved, helpless you can be.
I see no freedom from self-love, one-sided, egotistical
You torture yourself loving someone not loving you back
It's calamitous, dancing on your own is so hypocritical
Choosing love your own way, love isn't fair, a life-hack.
When will your head bump on the door, so you will know
That love isn't all that life may depress, you can move
Here outside, I'm thinking here how would I help you go
Be like a hero, comfort you inside or show you my love.

Lucky, we are, when safe and warm,
far from a calamitous storm,
but, in danger, we say a prayer,
seeking out that special one,
hoping she is there,
"We're slow. We can't outrun.
Please show us the sun.
Don't vanish in thin air."
While I am blessed with many a friend,
in hard times, I can depend
on them, but in the end,
when troubles are too great,
and I see the black swan,
and heaven's gate,
and all my hope is gone,
I put my faith upon
my lady, Fate.

We lose our loved ones since life is wayward.
For everyone, the breath of death, it stinks.
Its kiss, calamitous shame. E'en flowers
turn martyrs, beauty burns, and despair sinks.
A proud mother barred from her cherished calf.
She hates the dark hole, black toll, worthless tomb
which stakes a Cross, and none will wish to laugh
when elephant sorrows sit in their room.
Delivering the soul that once possessed
this womb, love's fired quiver, miracle born
to seed fresh wonders ~ we had been blessed
to follow your springtime steps too-soon shorn.
Now, standing as rainbows still scroll skies wide,
our hopes on Calv'ry stayed, whate'er the tide.

Blood-stained poppies mark the day that human
sacrifice did harden the skins of the less murderous mass
for such a brutal aghast affair, how the God all mighty
would formidable bear witness to grief beyond repair
Out into the fields, neither would yield-with bullets they
would tear but what would a stealthy, shrewd general care if many
died on duty which left a nation dumbfounded by the levity and
gravity of a war that was deemed
to be of grandness, valiant soldiers of fallacious valour
mercilessly gunned down and with
no gratification, them forsaken, while the gutless
general is less sanctimonious, pious in his approach for the
fighting did persist, until finally that last shot,
at last serenity in the calamitous storm, birdsong instead
of less fanciful peaceful flight, that night the serendipitous surviving
soldier did sleep so tight, a nation did succumb to pitiful sorrow
and pain-so the poppies do denote blood-stain and brutal,
grim, gutless gain

Flames in my soul are stired
Nothing cooling it down but air
Deep within my demon awaken
Doing nothing but ravages
What could move an hellian so much
Nothing but a touch from his past
Death to all he seeks
Death airs he reeks
Asmodeus heir has arrived
The seventh king has been crowned
Let all you mortals wail
For all you may do is his will
A calamitous divinity is born
All man's hope is gone
Who shall protect thee
For nonecan go against he
Who broke the leash?
A veil of chaos is unleashed
Let them call her here
For his morning star is all he hears

discarded kites cemented on trees and
abandoned playgrounds with broken swings
must have been brothers in another life
with a mother who wasn't theirs
and a father who wasn't home
or were they calamitous lovers
the sun, and the moon
only to realise one is inferior; sun is a star too
or
or did they trade their lives for love
did they ever meet again?
someone is certainly exceeding me and
im certainly falling behind
were we, vulgar strangers
in our forgone lives?
indifferent because our similarities didn't echo
i don't know about you
but i must have been a madman
roaming around with a longing to be found
can a universe apart bring
you together if you're meant to be?

Enchanting eyes.
So brown like autumn leaves.
Mesmerizing smile.
Fairer than snowflakes.
Beguiled by my delusion of what you are.
Painted the picture so perfect.
One's gaze has to be through my eyes.
Portrait so perfect.
I tucked its sharp ends away.
They prick me.
And each cut pierces my soul
With your baneful caress
You make it all better
I submerse deeper each day
To your treachery
Your covetousness, feign so patent they cram me
But again, you plant qualm
And I end up dubious of my sanity
Shifting blame to my imagination
Only one to make me laugh
Without uttering a word
You know just the buttons
Peculiar acrimony
So calamitous yet so inimitable
You are a part of me
I am part of you
Imprisoned by words
Actions dancing to a different tune
Trapped in fiction
Enforced to overlook
Your ills, I am weary
But again, with your crooked claws
You pull me nigh
Maul away all my trepidation
And I, gently reach out for your embrace.

I wail the cry of the simple man
Who toils night and day
Ne’er knowing that disasters can fall
On those who have no worldly ax to grind
Cries can be heard throughout history
Not by those who instigate the killing fields
But by those whose hearts are not moved by mayhem
Or blood splattered on children’s prayers
How far we have come in the centuries since time began
And war only tells us how far we still have to go
To unspoil this earth we received clean and pure
A planet graciously given to us by the universal Divine
Man! Man! Humanity! Where is your intelligence?
Has the promise of conquering fictional lands infiltrated your mind?
Lands never yours only felt on your brittle mind of yore?
Has your ego been blinded by your need to satisfy an insatiable avarice?
War, the bane of Man’s darkest side
War must end or the planet will have the last laugh
No man can survive such calamitous chaos
man's nine lives are about used up and there are no more
And if Man can't stop the insanity
maybe only God can save him … MAYBE
if God has a mind to
if He is not pissed enough already.

As Earth revolves in time and space,
We meet the future face-to-face.
While every soul tries to have their day,
Their nemeses try to block their way.
This causes decades when nothing significant happens,
Followed by months when panic and violence happen.
As society’s benign merry go ‘round spins faster around,
Its political operatives start stepping up and down.
What seeds of rancor did the radicals sow?
What was their purpose? Where does one go?
If culture binds our carousel’s spokes together,
Then how to these spokes is society tethered?
After our rogue merry go ‘round grinds to a halt,
People will point their fingers and not accept fault.
And then during months of calamitous chaos,
Thousands will ‘be disappeared’, die, or become lost.
Such Maoist days and Bolshevik nights,
Often lead to unmitigated chaos and fright.
Who amongst us will be cursed or blessed
Once this carousel of chaos comes to rest?
Apperceiving such anarchy makes us ponder,
How we’ll keep afloat once society founders.
Who will heal our emotional loss?
And will they do it at great personal cost?

When
jade Specks
of desire
carved a raven
calamitous shape
of coal-crescent,
losing the
last soil
once
My
lilac
heart of rouge
runes, shimmered in
galaxy, lathered
with embers of
laced life for
soul of
thou
I
float in
rose quartz haze
befogged upon
starlit symphony's
hymnal moondust,
strolling in
perfumed
'You'.

the demo expert desperado left the device behind
What a marvelously designed contraption; wasn’t that kind?
He’s a desperado, an outlaw, he has a despicable mind.
Disassemble that apparatus, the truth we must methodically find.
The suspicious gadget was calamitous, it burst, cracked and shined.
I am going to dismantle it, it scares me said my cousin McWhined.
His scared-y-cat attitude bewildered me; was his back even spined?
Mystified, I stood up for the device, having a lacksidasical mind.
Diminishing dwindling damaging proof rapidly left far behind.
After the contraption exploded, a deadly hit that blew up McWhined.
The desperado was truly an outlaw, on the run, whom no one can find.
Wish I had photo of contraption, which sat two feet from where I dined.

“... betrayal begins with trust.” ~ Phish
Nothing is more hurtful than betrayal--
The traits of Cain, Delilah, Judas, Brutus;
In their darkest hours they all led astray
those they vowed to be loyal to and protect,
spawning events that were calamitous.
Trust—
It appears, there’s none anymore
Not here, not now and never ever was;
It’s an ancient fable, a myth
long tucked away in books
in sermons and scriptures
in mythology and fairytales,
Not a treasure rare and precious,
but a mere figment of our imagination;
Trust is a portal through which
a man can manipulates, lies and betrays,
A chimera of the fantasy world
like a mirage to the desert dwellers
a floating straw to a drowning man
a flickering light at the end of
a tunnel to a desperate soul.
Trust but thyself
and to thyself be true,
Yet indulge not in thine own conceit,
Mistrust no man without just cause
Nor be credulous without proof,
Stay neither far from reason
nor close to folly…
Trust is hard to find,
But when found, don’t let go!

Light
bright, luminous
blinding, brilliants, radiances
appearing, gleaming, glaring, glowing
unlit, unlighted, calamitous
ill-lit, dingy
