teeny tiny field mouse did not have a chance there
eagle-eyed red headed buzzard spotted him from the air
swooped down, then took mouse up to fifteen thousand feet
making him into a squirming wiggly tasty treat

Why dare I task thick clouds on their own turf
With smug like immortal engraves my wing;
The rain— for my feather to wade and surf
like lightning is sweet and thunder but Nerf;
I, the pilot and the plane, soar and spring
and my tinted tiny wings duck and swing
and beat against the wind on its own turf
and kiss the sky with lying lips— a fling.
Because the ground revolves for naught but shame,
And grows only to fall by its own hand,
To wreck little birds, to burn and to maim.
Not the gravel nor ocean is a friend
Not man nor his hand that kills for no aim
He burns us all while he dies where he stands.

why are vultures in the road today?
red necks are completely ugly
devouring their carrion
they give me the willies
red turkey buzzards
road kill dessert
good bye mole
tasty
food

The elderly root went a court’n today
I saw him with a heart, as he went on his way
I wondered who he was going to try to seduce.
Could it be the old Tony Twins? They were way out of juice.
He tipped his hat and gave me a wink.
I know my face turned incredibly pink.
How do you do, you adorable sweet pea!
My goodness! This old buzzard was trying to court me!

Buzzard drifting high among the clouds
Little effort, it seems, propelling him in circles
Wondering what he can see far below
I’ve always been told something has died~~
A plausible explanation.

freshly murdered this morning

Bob the buzzard is colour blind i think
he doesnt think a flamingo should be pink,
say he has seen many and he knows
that flamingos are blue in Galapagos.
buzzards eyes gleen as he watches them feeding,
now buzzards are big but surely he is exceeding,
tbe size of his hunger no way can he swallow,
a flamingo even if his stomach is hollow
he flew onto its back they looked eye to eye
^get off^ said tbe flamingo, shoo go fly,
buzzard swaggered lost grip on floor did land,.
down came flamingos foot on his head he did stand.
Bob saw stars begged to be freed said he
would never fancy a blue or pink flamingo again for tea

Flamingo--

The New World vultures – buzzards and hawks,
Circle-soar as they look for prey, among stalks.
Chomping smaller bird out of their feeders, so keen.
Turkey buzzards, so ruthless and intensely mean.
Spindly pink flamingo, a water-bred bird,
Loving South Florida, though it may seem absurd.
Proud orange in pink feathers dresses carefully.
Caribbean’s delight, they roost near the sea.
Forest and Woodland buzzards and hawks avoid the Sunshine State.
Not tempted to go there for water birds, who cannot relate.
Missing this opportunity in their limited vision.
To partake on flamingo meat, a ready provision.

Another episode of out on the porch:
It is cold out here
That is compared to the heat
Of mid-summer forward
One lone buzzard
Glides on the air current
Wonder if he is a scout
Searching for food
Maybe a young bird
Wanting to be free
Or maybe an old bird
Wanting to spread his wings
And float on freedom air
Soar to new heights
Experience new love
Or doing exactly what he wants
When he wants
He's gone _short lived flight
A crow joined him briefly
I guess he didn't want an old crow
Cawing and interrupting his new found freedom
So like life__ old buzzards
Wanting to fly free without an old crow along
Wonder how long it will take for them to realize
That they have ignored the best that life has to offer

Heavy clouds overwhelming
Rainshower over barren fields
Saturating a dry soil
A buzzard watching from a tree
A poor mouse will be doomed
-----------------------------------------
Schwere Wolken überwiegen
Ein Regenguss auf dürre Felder
Durchtränkt die trockene Erde
Ein Bussard späht von einem Baum
Eine arme Maus ist verloren
------------------------------------------
Pesadas nubes predominan
Un aguacero en los campos resecos
Impregnando el suelo seco
Un zopilote observa de un árbol
Un pobre ratón está perdido

They dip into ur mess
2 add 2 the stress
The ones that they caused
Because of their flaws
They're afraid 2 admit
Because they know the natural hit
The hit that'll bring the truth
That'll restore their youth!
