The Buzzard

Buzzard drifting high among the clouds Little effort, it seems, propelling him in circles Wondering what he can see far below I’ve always been told something has died~~ A plausible explanation.

My mother always said this is how bodies are found in the country; farmers "follow the buzzards." Those turkey buzzards are incredibly ugly too!

Yes, they are. I guess they are able to spot road kill from way up there.

So they say, John, but I've never been to Hinckley on March 15th (or any other time) so I cannot vouch for it. Thanks for your read and your thoughts.

True, Anselmo. I couldn't help but wonder what she was seeing beneath her.

I suppose that is true, Kim. It was most interesting watching it circle and wondering what the earth looked like from its point of view. Hmmm...do buzzards have a point of view????

Straight away your verse took me to the opening music to the movie Mackennas gold where the buzzard was flying over the desert landscape. Enjoy your weekend. Tom
