numb butterfingers
need inflatable buoys
attached to their phones
to stop the silly slip dips
to which dumb users are prone
Bygones are again beginning.
Big Nose Kate and Doc Holliday
bang and toss China plates,
bothering my ears with their
blooming Southern inhospitality.
Bedbugs, I never want em,
because they bite in the night
bedsits' in Birmingham Alabama
big red marks on my bum.
Bad dream now
beetles crawling up my legs,
brown ones,
Brobdingnagian bugs.
Bangladeshi late-night dinner
blighted the bathroom a bit.
Bored with these bloody bygones
butterfingers strum banjo blue notes.
Brad Pitt hates that redneck hokey,
but I don't care.
Beautiful butterflies bewitch baby brown bear,
Beside blessed bluejays bobbing between blueberry bushes.
Bedazzled bumbling bear brokenhearted,
Because butterfingers breaks big branches.
But by beginning brisk bravery,
Baby brown bear's behavior benefits beaming biodiversity!

O' HENRY'S my name and me and my dog CHUNKY, the SLO POKE dog, wanted to go on a shopping spree on 5th AVENUE since it was PAYDAY. It was a nice ride and the scenery was beautiful, especially the SNOW CAPS in the distance.
However, our trip was cut short when we broke the WHATCHAMACALLIT on the car when we hit a patch of ROCKY ROAD. BAR NONE, that was the worst road I have ever driven.
We were broke down on a remote country road and we could see ZERO help in any direction. I was worried that we were stranded but just then a JOLLY RANCHER with his two NERD sons, MIKE and IKE, pulled up and asked if they could help.
I explained our dilemma and I heard Mike and Ike SNICKER and say we were AIR HEADS with BUTTERFINGERS. They towed us to a garage and the repair estimate was 100 GRAND, after all we were driving a Lamborghini. The mechanic fixed the car and I promised I would pay NOW AND LATER.
That didn't go over so well and the sheriff has me serving HOT TAMALES and BOSTON BAKED BEANS in the county jail. The moral of this story is don't be a SMARTIE and tell a bunch of WHOPPERS.

melting snowball
Fall-out started with the spring-break competition;
Errors were made as team effort slid downhill.
Then when name-calling sparked a partition,
esprit-de-corps broke to a stand-still.
“Butterfingers!” the dig of choice,
sabers, rifles drop in flight.
“Cretin!” answers a voice,
winter guard backbite.
“Bozo, Clod, Clown”
teenage jeers,
meltdown -
tears.

Line Gauthier's A Melting Snowball contest
The shimmering water could not
hide the prize,
a sunny day and laughter
fill the air,
the occasional "plop" sound
quiets down the crowd,
a wide-eyed boy's first time
casting into the water,
first cast -- first fish
No kidding!
What more could you ask for?
I sat back and watched
remembering my first cast--
I let go of the pole... Oops!
I sat there remembering and laughing
as the young boy's dad helped unhook
the reluctant fish.
The joy of a time bringing so many memories
to so many people...
and a smile to one with "butterfingers".
I’m feeling so squared right now in my cubicle
With my steamed four eyes oh so whimsical
How I suddenly lose composure and get butterfingers
Every time she peers to request some staples or binders
And if she never greets me first thing in the morning
A dark cloud fills the rest of my day like I’m in mourning
I’ve got no intension - at all - for office romance
It’s a disaster leading to poor job performance
I’m ignoring the fact that she’s the boss’s daughter
I best stop daydreaming before I'm fed to his pet alligator

Chocolate Indulgences (20150129)
If I really had no choice but to divulge,
In mountains of chocolate I would indulge.
I'm not just taking about Snickers,
Reese's peanut butter cups, Butterfingers,
Or other grocery store sweeties.
I'm talking about the expensive stuff, most from oversea:
Fruit and nut bars from British Cadbury,
Milk molasses chips from local Mrs. See's,
Fudge Easter Eggs from domestic Helen Grace,
Belgian praline Sea Shells from Leonidas,
Belgian Cote D'Or bouche pralines,
And from Germany's Ritter Sport--EVERYTHING!
Wallowing in glorious chocolate, I'd be so pathetic,
If not for the fact, that I'm a diabetic.
While melting-down he was going to cheat
the death. So be it, bribing the inevitable.
In search of me, you and self, life was
coming to an end. Standing on sharp edge
he wanted to go back to beginning of era,
to try again his fear against coarse future,
to be versed in or not to cease, to yield
to the butchering-ground for salvation.
He did not want to pick up the droppings
now with butterfingers. Let there be a revolt
against the buyers of wallets. Gods have
left the caves and crowds are thinned out.
Prayerwheels are broken. Sky was overcast.
The morality heaves out of bush and steps
up to find a new crisis.

I always like Fall best
You can eat buttery pancakes
From huge Ihop
And Omelets
And Toast
And skillets
And lots of Reese
And Butterfingers
And Twix
At the colorful gas station
And listen to
Nice relaxing music
On the hill
At the Mt. Rushmore
And go to the Corn Palace with
My friend Troy
And go to the baseball game
And watch the sunset setting
I'm in the candy store, and man, i feel like a little boy,
Wanting to taste everything, but i should settle for some Almond Joy,
But who can focus on one, when there's so much,
My body gets weak, at the slightest of touch,
Of some Baby Ruth,
Man I'm telling y'all the truth,
I have an unstoppable candy addiction,
Airheads on my skin, surely causing some friction,
My favorite type of gum, is some sour Bubbalicious,
Butterfingers in my mouth, God, it taste so delicious,
Cherry Pop, Candy Cane, and some Candy Lipstick,
Jawbreakers, Red Hots, which ones do i pick,
Milk Duds, Mike & Ike, or how about some Twix,
Sweet candy everywhere, cant resist those Pixy Stix,
Jelly Belly, Jelly Nougat, i love those Jelly Beans,
Put my mom on the phone, get me a candy machine,
'Cause when i taste just one, it makes me want so much more,
Its like an orgy in my mouth, it makes me roll wild on the floor,
Sugar rushing all through my system,
My mom says enough, but heck, do i listen?
'Cause you cant stop me when i'm eating my treat,
Nothing can defeat me and those delectable heavenly sweets.
