Love is like bubblegum

Love is like bubblegum fresh at the start
Zesty and fruity, like adrenaline to the heart
Mouthwatering anticipation of bubbles to come
Time spent together it's outstanding fun
Next comes the bubbles it's fun but it's messy
Lots of puffing and blowing, a little bit fleshy
Normally next, things just get chucked away
It was nice when it lasted but the gums had its day
But in just a few cases, the bubbles are special
The effort for chewing remains well worth the wrestle
And when the bubblegum is all but gone
You are left together with a special someone.

Amoxicillin Bubblegum

You chew me up and spit me out.
You walk all over me.
Your sneakers, sticky from the pink gunk that still clings to them.
You get new shoes and a new flavor of gum.
Bubblegum and Nike doesn’t suit you anymore.
But Mint and Adidas do.
On the occasional days, you feel nostalgic,
Craving the taste of bubblegum
And the cushion Nike provides you.
Those days never last long.
In the end, I will always be the gum stuck to your Nike shoes.
Spit me out and walk all over me again.
I’ll still cling to you like the sticky gunk I am.

A Bubblegum Crush

Uh, ahum, mmh, erh, yes
I suppose that
More or less,
I want,
(if such is fine with you)
You, my love,
To kiss me.

Hard.

Careful first,
Slowly, now,

Reckless later
breathless,
All enveloping
Dizzying, wow
A rush to my heart,
A crush on my tongue like a ball of bubblegum

What I want, I cannot confess
It feels too good to say,
All I can manage is
"god, I'm dazed"
And lay gentle hands on you,
Waive away my doubt
And caress
More, or less,

All of you,

So - more.

More is what I want,
I want us sore
In the best possible ways.

I've loved you the most
In the fewest days.

Strong to do majestic things
Along a way few others travel
Finding all that living brings
A deeper mystery to unravel

Wonder of a body wrought
Among the splendid natural show
High theater stands a man
The mind defining where to go

Crazy makes us stumble worthy
Thoughts will crumple wrappers bare
Bubble gum a bubble pops
Like our dreams, they burst in air

Chew on this amazing story
All bubbles grow because of you
Amble on you being of glory
Stick your purpose natural true

I'd trade them all -

          Each fling I've flung

               For one more taste ...

     Your luscious tongue.

Premium Member The Past Like Bubblegum

The past like bubblegum
Stuck to your shoe
Slowing you down
When it clings like glue

Your soul spreading gunk
With every stride
That awful mess
You try so hard to hide

Take the time have a seat
Take your shoes off
Take a look at your soul
And scrape the crap off

Roll it and poke it
And check it with zeal
Then finally flick it
And see how you feel

Premium Member Like Bubblegum On Daring Lips

I touched his hand
On that playground
With those children
Looking
With sun in his hair
And his sparkling eyes
Outdoors smelled
Better than wet grass
After rain
Than vanilla ice cream cones
On Sunday
You know how bubbles can exist?
                       Like overgrown pink bubblegum?
                       On far too daring lips?
                       This timeless juncture
                       Where just he and I
                       Had momentum
                       And nothing else in our
                       Small frail world
                       Mattered
In my stomach something
Came alive with
Tornado twists
Fluttering feelings
He didn't move
Or speak
                       The moment lasted
                       My entire life
                       Every of his knuckles
                       Etched in memory
                       No word crossed my lips
                       Failed my tongue
These few seconds
Winks in time
Were a smile to last
Forever
In my consciousness

Bubblegum Brain

with this bubblegum brain
i chew on my thoughts
till i get an idea
before the flavor is gone
roll around on my tongue
open my mouth
say what i have to say
with this bubblegum brain

Puke and Bubblegum World

Its all you see everywhere,
Pavement hugging,
And beer blankets,
Puke as far as the eye can see,
A sea of puke for a world,
Where the latin name for life,
Is jokus sickus,
Oh and the bubble gum,
Is from the 80's ego bubble.

Killed Over Bubblegum

(It's hard to believe but this is a true story.)

A teenager had a fight with his brother and he took his life.
He stabbed him to death with a butcher knife.
It's hard to believe but he killed him over bubblegum.
To kill over such a trivial thing was really dumb.
He didn't get the chance to grow up, he died when he was a kid.
It's wrong to kill for any reason but this was really stupid.
Now he's being charged with murder and he's paying the price.
If you ever consider killing someone, please think twice.
