9pm,
my messy curls sizzled
as chemicals
flow down the drain—
raven,
to matte purple.
Each strand a minute
I forced
straight
with smoldering iron.

1am,
Hair unraveled
against the shuddering wall
The taste of heated whiskey
falt
er ing
from our lips
Rusty red smudged
on neon-lit chins—
He muttered, “Your hair looks better at night.”
I replied—
—Blackout,
(sigh)

a woodpecker knocks
telling me morning is here
i bid her goodnight
Draw in those thick veils.
Fading flesh released to press -
thank you, rude magic!
Adam glances at his money.

Who are you?"
They call me memento.
Just Monument?
Yes
Original text
"Rainy days are like the souls
Cloudy moments, casting gloom
But even in the quiet drizzle
There is a bloom that starts to look"
Black out poem
Rainy days
Are the souls
Quiet bloom.
Disastrous
upended
trajectory
again and again
bucking efforts
a palpable sense
shifted
knowledge
even among the most defiant
believe the writing is on the wall.
My heart lost its fire
Just when I tried harder.
I had hoped for a gain
By giving all I've got.
But love despises gambling
The hand I was dealt
Was blank yet too optimistic—
Winning was not too realistic.
I pushed all in the pot
Deceived by veils and blinds.
But love is not a game of chance—
It demands fortune and skill combined.
With this blackout now, I see
I should learn to fold and hold.
Love is not for the bold
But for those with hearts turned cold.
Eclipse of the disco ball,
a full floor drank that rhythm on ice;
Total Blackout;
Will they get out, CAN they get out?
88 Keys to dance on,
awash with a psychedelic trance;
Unable to shout;
Will they, can they, ever get out?
Each pair of feet moving
faster than the sound of the DJ;
Oh that soft pout;
Now there’s positively no way out;
Backlit Solar sight,
a beat you feel but can’t react to;
Total Blackout.
I spent my night
Sleepless due to blackout
Torturing, I fight.
Vote on a partner
limiting fighting increasing diplomats;
It’s a moment for supporters
to balance international
offensive and deep concerns,
consequences largely unchecked;
Whatever decision defend and implement;
Reality complicated when the war began;
Militant kidnapped retaliation
death of majority;
Resolution
strong signal change conduct;
Protect
always use influence;
Pressure
use power
allow resolution to represent
a major warning.
Blackout
I sit in a blackout
What can I do
Wind is a howling
The rain's angry too
Windowsills rattle
High up on my floor
I live on the seventh
And hear every roar
I'm starting to find
A still quietness
Mixed with a thunder
Of solitudeness
I sit in a blackout
What will I do
I'll sit here and bask
In my gratitude

Blackout
In the darkness of the pupil
fragments of chaos float
like a life belt in a stormy sea
close enough
but at the same time
So far away
An eternal fight without a winner
Eyes never lie
Shadows sleep in them
and when I fall
and when I'm not in control
They are my home
But at this dead time of the night
Leaden clouds hide the moon
doing again
that Shadowhunter
feels like prey
When right became wrong
I do not know
There must be something in that darkness
Isn't that a twisted show
with long established roles,
They say "Fate" under their breath
When the sky is collapsing
they say
Better pray
Always the same..
BUT
You can't blame the blackout
what you don't know
what are you
Hunter or Hunting
Or both
Trees and branches sway.
The power has moved outside.
The house is too still.
A wren chirps sweetly,
defying chaotic winds--
innocent solace
If the wishes,
subside...
if love,
ceases...
i pursue fresh dreams
in the stars... !

Excellence in service, equalities
In society: access to every utility
Makes men and me dependent
Until depending on undependables
Makes us meek, mad or uncivilized
But for those accidental attractions
II
Like stars at night, without man's light
Beautiful, delicious darkness
Sets off the diamonds in domed Crown
Sliver of a moon makes memories
Old and new about the heaven, universe
Thank you South Africa (Eskom) for failures
Your corrupt business model takes us back
(to beauty as God meant it for we to see)
