Birthday
Special day
Day we reckon as special
Deviate from normal
Indulge in celebration
Spotlighting attention
None in Nature ever celebrates
All perform their usual duties
Stars, Sun, Moon, Trees, Rivers, Hills
All Wonders, none yearns for wishes
Birth, Death ends of same spectrum
Life in between is real celebration
Celebrate moments with gratitude
Wish well, help others gain altitude
Birthday
Just another day

The older we get, the more time is a wild river
with nothing standing in its way ~
One solution for slowing time down is to
live it up during your whole birthday month ~
At our age, it's not wise to cram too much celebrating
in just one day ~ we need to pace ourselves

Wild raccoons came in and took over Uncle Steve’s birthday bash.
They did not bring presents, food, well wishes or any cash.
The rest of us scrambled away from the clubhouse in a flash.
Frankly, I did not know that Grandma Willie had that much dash
What do you know about birthdays?
A cake and warm wishes?
Different gifts wrapped with cards?
Or a lonely day that proves—
That proves a year has sunk,
And marks a new beginning—
Maybe for something better,
Or just a quiet Monday morning.
After a rough weekend of fun,
And bills paid worth a month,
With friends who came just for fun—
Or just a grey and cloudy day
For a solar energy user—
No sun, no sign of it near,
Like the friends who promised to appear
And celebrate your day of birth.
So what have you learned about birthdays?
Maybe it’s just the words that are true,
But the speaker feels obliged to say them,
As if not doing so would cost them.
But for me, it’s a quiet day,
A time to reflect and plan—
For tomorrow might never come,
And with each birthday, I near my grave.
New beginnings, a year freshly spun,
Incredible joy where laughter has run,
Cherished moments like stars in the night,
Outstanding spirit shining so bright,
Love and warm wishes taking their stand,
Everything happy held in your hand.
All of our hearts with happiness filled,
Now celebrate you, our spirits are thrilled,
Never lose how love for you is fulfilled.

(Birthday of Nicole Ann Quintos)
In a video for my friend’s birthday,
Her family and pals did record
Their own message of varied good wishes
And watching it was her reward.
There were tributes from both of her daughters,
Her husband and grandkids and friends,
Plus some photos from happy occasions,
Where the smiles showed that fun never ends.
Some told stories of camp, school and teaching;
Others sang or recited a poem,
But all shared so much love in the telling
That the messages surely hit home.
I loved watching it all put together,
Though I didn’t know everyone there,
But I’m glad I was part of the medley
Letting Fran know how much we all care.
Love surrounds you, so bright and bold,
Outstanding joy, a happy sound,
In moments precious, stories told,
Dreams and well wishes all around,
All blessings from above are found.

Acrostic in Quintain (Birthday of Loida Decano)
Joyful tunes begin to play,
All your friends are gathered near,
Now a brighter, brand new day,
Everyone you hold so dear,
Love and laughter, happy cheer,
Lots of wishes, just for you,
Enjoy your special day, it's true.

Acrostic in Rhyme Royal (Birthday of Janelle Ermita-Ecal)
Daylight dances, a golden hue,
All of our wishes, are sent to you.
Radiant smiles, a joyful sight,
Love and laughter, shining so bright.
In every moment, happiness gleams,
New adventures, fulfilling your dreams.

Hurray! Hurray! Today is your day!
Always and ever, best wishes forever.
Pleased to wish you happiness,
Perfect serene life – away from strife.
You deserve the best. Happy birthday! Yes!
Circuits of joy, a digital sunrise, bloom,
Homographic hues, escaping a granulated room,
Electric laughter, like a synthwave's bright cascade,
Radiant as neon signs, your spirit unafraid.
Year after year, a story, a code you rewrite,
Luminous dreams, taking flight in the virtual night.

Balloons ascend, a vibrant, joyful hue,
Embraced by warmth, a day both fresh and new.
Radiant smiles, like sunbeams, are bright and clear,
Now memories bloom, banishing all fear.
All wishes whispered, on a gentle breeze,
Dreams take their flight, among the rustling trees.
Enchanting moments, laughter's sweet refrain,
Treasured memories, washing out all pain.
Time's gentle passage, a revelry's art,
Eternal happiness, a brand new start.

Happy birthday to you all.
To everyone who was born on this day.
To International women day.
It is a wonderful day to celebrate.
Privately or publicly.
You shall have at least a present if not two.
No matter where you are at this moment,
You deserve to enjoy the celebration.
As you are one year older
You should be a bit wiser.
Did you know that,
Wisdom grows every 7 years.
I wish you could see your love one,
To wish you Happy birthday in person.
And giving you some birthday presents.
Best wishes. Happy everyday and always.

Happy birthday to my sister.
She turns a mile stone at the new corner.
Now she earns the title of being a senior.
Congratulations to you, my sister.
Congratulations to me too.
Today, I was introduced the Poetry's world.
I started to post my poems,
Few days later, my first piece of work,
Was listed in "This Week's Featured poems".
It was read by many viewers.
I was overwhelmed and flattered.
Initially, the poems were written,
To serve as my diary keeper.
Eventually, the writing got easy and easier.
I was glad, I met this poet,
Who I named "Mr Author",
He introduced me to the poetry's world,
Hopefully, I can continue on writing,
Post them all on the internet.
Thank you "Mr Author"
Thank you all the viewers.
It was all my pleasure.
The affection of my mother,
a solemn silence of apathy and burning,
the affection that assisted my inevitable yearning,
yearning for fondness, empathy, passion and love,
a cemented wish from the fumes above,
the fumes which escaped from my annual candle,
the vehemence too disconsolate for a young girl to handle,
the solemn silence remains a verifiable memory,
embossed into my soul as if an accessory,
the annual candle, the wish aforementioned,
the yearning, the exigency for a mothers affection.
