This was the first of several 'jailhouse' pieces I penned while I was away. It was meant to be a rant due to the fact that after weeks of being locked up for the first time ever, I recieved no letter; no visit; NADA from not one of my 'dear, sweet friends'. Okay, maybe I'm still a little miffed.

PS

I apologize. I had truly failed to ammend the last word, which isn't a very nice one. It won't happen again.

I always knew you’d be there with your caring and concern.
I always knew you’d have my back when I had nowhere to turn.
I always knew I could count on your support no matter what.
All these things I always knew, but somehow you forgot.
Each day I’ve waited patiently for just one little word,
but the days go by and still I wait, my name never to be heard.
What keeps me going now is I know, with any luck,
I can tell you all to kiss my ass, ’cause I DON’T GIVE A !
