In The Spirit Of Treason

Chances are
Come time to remain
It wears our crest
It knows of our land our domain
Deep thought in time of massacre

But after, that's when the River can explain

I released the burden
The arrow out the quiver
The AR15 or the M16

But this time, there is no profit to save us
Proof of reverence deep in our vein

Today, I feel a fight but with no man or life against
Just to keep water below my neck
The ones should never be given the power
Poverty's grip bounces in the street
Then acts like a clown and becomes the wind

The weight is incredible
But it floats away
Carried by those with love deep

Enter the invited invaders
Their white hanker-chief waiting to be
Someone with a free ticket
Someone the opposite of me

As a freeborn; freeman, under Australian commonwealth auspices, I call for the
Arrest, and trial of dan andrews, for usurping law carrying out treason
And incarcerating his countrynen without
True and verifiable cause, also for the war
Crime waged against them, by forced acts
Of spurious medical value., Indeed to a point
Even genocidal.?

On The Money

To Americans, July 4th
is Independence Day,
with; barbecues, concerts, fireworks,
picnics, parades, patriotic festivities,
(a.k.a., Freedom Day).
Despite the star-spangled banner's,
red, white and blue,
to that of the British Union Jack,
being identical in hue,
flag-waving they're compelled,
or conditioned, so to do.
The U.S. Constitution does define,
'Treason' as... the only crime
consisting of levying war
against them, and/or,
to their enemies adhering,
with comfort and aid
by all means conveyed.
To those in England,
considering, in 1776,
colonists went their own sweet way,
it's the ultimate 'Treason Day'.
And, altho' the U.S. touts
'Separation of Church and State',
yea, verily I say,
is it not hypocritically unjust
of them to print on their money,
'In God We Trust'?

Rhyme but no Reason for Treason Silly Season

Damn it the planet’s on fire
Concerning..right down to the wire
Burning on its funeral pyre spire

I’m for turning.. where’s the messiah?
A heavenly choir…so we can aspire
That learning will finally inspire
An endless yearning desire
Of spurning this friendless quagmire

Discerning things are rather dire
Churning of the palaver and ire
Mother nature does surely tire
Should be the crier & trier
Of another returning frequent flyer
Corporate pariah..or so called high flier

Deranged global warming denier
You can tell its hotter...getting dryer
The climate’s changed.. you liar
Mining anything shining..find a buyer

All about earning..will just retire
With their bounty…a comfy county squire
Or dicey fiscal rascal friar
Got devious egregious previous & prior
Pampered dining on pricey lobster & samphire

Us out of luck..stuck in the muck & mire
Tampered temperatures soaring higher
But no ruck ..chuck the entire earth in the fryer
They’ve scampered…we’re hampered in the briar
Does appall …no truck with their gall…yet remain a complier
Insane what they pluck.. yet we all still call them “Sire”

Now there once was a man called Obama
who did more grievous harm than Osama.
   At Hillary’s coax
   they conspired a hoax
so coming your way is some bad karma!

Theres a volume out now on everyday life, by an ex border
Patroller and its 'all about the strife' of whats happening in Chicago? where
Al was chased and taxed, theres invasion it says' and
The limits are all out-maxed..!It talks of replacement of
A city's black souls, yet three billion dollars earmarked for venezualens 'in the hold?' of the mayor and his servants.
Waiting to be spent, on the next stage of their journey up
From a city of tents, it makes grim reading i'd say from
What I've heard..Seems like the everyday Americans are
Being driven out like a herd..Now I think i've come across that
Term before.? Like in a plan oft derided.' Gets me wondering even more.
On what has really been decided.??

Thy Treason O Fate

Nigh like a chameleon, conceal that can,
Camouflage, sly head in wisdom to shake,
Yet seldom can save your life from a snake,
So how O Fate ye deal with mortal men.
O stutter not with a mask nigh jaded,
Gossamer veils that little can conceal,
Beware, ye end up much more to reveal,
Not just your infamy, fraud and façade.

Wish, man had not bitten that baited fruit
Of lure ye planted in Eden Garden
In utter bliss and height of temptation,
Wish he’d stayed true to him— innocent brute.
To be your true self ye might have reason…
Mislead men, yet what it be but treason?

Poet’s note: This piece wonders on the ways of Fate, on Temptation, forbidden fruit, and Maya's play. Fate, it seems, likes to watch on till we commit crime, and once the ill deed is done, catch us post facto on Judgement Day!

Prologue Post Treason

LizPiggo began gobbling up the bodies of the four Cartel members. "What"! Her newly aware look at her comrades, questioned in a somewhat hurt and astonished manner, their judgmental attitudes. "We have to get rid of the evidence!" She whipped out a bottle of Uncle Ray's barbecue sauce and a salt and pepper combo shaker,
some Country Crock (churn style),
a napkin wrapped utensil set, a kids pool plastic makeshift toilet, (which she was going to hand to Shroomer, because he was full of hot air, but remembered he was now an assailant/fugitive in their circle), instead she french kissed Rosie Odonut and said, "if you blow up this beach and get your lips warmed up I will split the last two with you", while winking. When she fashioned her table cloth bib in place (so she wouldn't stain her beautiful Sunday dress) she was rock em sock em-and ready to go.

Gus shook his head and began pairing everyone up in teams...Then, WailersWitch walked in...

Void of reason

Somewhere along the road we all must take
Goodness will survive

or

evil may wake

Dare To Compare Pen and Sword

In days of lore a sword was held in hand
not a vest strapped to a chest by some command

Terror a very strong feeling of fear
how far this is to what Poets hold dear

In younger days terror was contained in a nightmare
not a bomb or a threat carelessly sent everywhere

How different are they from you and I
both looking upward into the sky

They have a mother and father too
often than naught they don’t have a clue what
their offspring is up to

We may write for many a reason
though their cause is more likely to end in treason

All have feelings galore to share
even if theirs seem like they don’t care

Here I sit and lament how another explosion to prevent
looking for an answer that may be from higher up sent

So what is our role at times like this, is it to write about
happiness and bliss or those that we will miss

Is it my task to ask you to ponder and pause
or coach you into looking for another cause

Know that there is good in everyone whether you
be a daughter or a son

So my request might be to pick up a pen to deliver your message
a passage or two to get you through to removing the vest from your chest

Irony, often, enacts comically fatal roles,
Brings dignitaries down from their highest pedestal poles;

Sometimes, in a symbolically pragmatic costume,
Of the protagonist, destruction its role does assume;

Julia Gillard, Australian feminist Prime Minister,
Kitten heels! Fell over public! Earned laughter sinister!

Unprejudiced slip! Humiliated tentatively!
Escorts and envoys, though, waited on her attentively!

Her fall followed her fiery address on male chauvinism,
Fall on grass and fall-from-grace were linked to her feminism;

Did Julia Gillard abet the Western Australian State,
From the crown of the United Kingdom to terminate?

The alleged treason, with her falls, harmed her reputation,
As her opponents wished, these led to her resignation;

Conservatism of foes, I'd conclude, is cause of her fall,
To cry in wilderness, yet, she has felt, has been her call...!

A prime minister of Land Down Under -
from her role she had been put asunder.
I've been reading of texts
and jokes made of her sex,
but about her I still have to wonder . . .

I surmise mostly Aussies would know
more exactly why she was let go,
I sure wish I knew
that at "Beyond Blue"
she was doing kids good. Do you think so?

For Joe Maverick's contest regarding Julia Gillard. Title is to be same as the name of this contest.
It's the best I could come up with from my research but I do not understand
Australian politics very well.

If one chooses to enter the political realm
[To serve his or her country in high office]
Inevitably, they will be accused of misconduct
Of one sort or another during their tenure
Julia Gillard, ex-Prime Minister of Australia,
The first and only female in Australia’s history
Is no exception.

From 2010-2013, she performed her duties, but
Was deposed by her predecessor, who claimed
Rightly that she was ambivalent, that she
Sordidly vacillated in her actions and decisions
And such claims by one’s political allies and opponents
Are rather common when a position of authority
Is coveted.

No evidence exists, however, that she was a traitor!
Treason (to be a traitor) requires attacking the state
Authority “to whom one owes” [complete] “allegiance
With the intent of overthrowing the government.”
Almost ten years have passed since she left office,
And it would behoove the Australian powers that be
To move on.

We the People

We are the people of the past and the present that you have failed to represent.
We freeze in fear of the current fate of our vitality and of our future fertility
We are those that pay the pipers price for policies of protection.

We do not take lightly the heat of hatred nor the will to wage war. We only stand brave to bear the burden thereby you boldly boast. We laugh not into the plight of peril or our unwarranted demise. We do not fight for foolish follies made by our own doing. We are only humble servants of the eccentric and the uncontrolled extreme.

We are forced to march onward in the manner mandated by madness. We pray profusely that we perish in a peaceful proclamation. We cry the treacherous tears of treason that stain the sheets of our salvation.

We know not where the truth ends nor where the lies begin. We only remember the written hopes and dreams of our bygone “Noble” men.

We the People, We the People, We the People.
