To win is the trying..!' gainst despairs blank stare, a wounded earth still
rolls on..! Midst the throes of territorial vying..

Shows our shattered crystal the counsel of despair
As the pales; of circumvention, invade earth's free sod and air,

Oh.! such power we covet To maintain..! what is "right?" what is yours..
can be theirs" or is it ours..? should we fight..?

Yes it tears through our city's this division reprised,
To the call of soulless ambition, destruction quickens in stride,

And! yet not new its existence..) "for know ye satan he is a liar"
Though hidden deep in shadow; was to emerge its sly desire.

Yet how ask us "innocent's" & why should this be?
Whilst we gaze upon its sickness and water the seeds..!

So we stand without reason, or we lay down condemned,
Yet open hearts to salvation; on Jesus depend,

Call his name now in season) let the fetters free fall,
The Miracle is "willing" none should perish is all..!

Ready and Willing To Work

The job search continues, though unemployment has run out
For me, accepting a government handout set a precedent
If only the largest corporations are to qualify for bailouts
Then I’d like to shake up Washington and run for president

Not of the United States, no, I don’t want Obama’s job
But I’d like to take the reins of a business with some courage
To refuse taxpayer money like Ford, not GM on the rob
Like the public, I’d heal corporate wounds with my own bandage

Now I fill my hours volunteering for various causes
Senior centers and children’s groups show appreciation
Operating in the red, they are used to accepting losses
And in my heart I receive a different type of compensation

Premium Member God Willing

Dear Sir or Madam

I’m not in the habit of talking to air
But just for the moment I’ll talk like you’re there
My mind isn’t closed to your actual existence
My doubts are not simply a stubborn resistance

But I cannot see you, I can’t feel your touch
And logic decrees I require that much
I spurn no religion, refute no-one’s faith
I envy the way they feel cosy and safe
The way they feel shielded from final damnation
Instead to be offered eternal salvation

I don’t fail to see all the beauty on Earth
I never have sought to devalue its worth
But where it all came from, I’ve, almost since birth
Puzzled and fought that confusion with mirth

But I’m sure of one thing, your humour is sound
In fact I’d be tempted to call it profound
For only a God that had wit on his side
Would make man and put all his plumbing outside

The poems I write that make light of your majesty
I sense that you won’t see as insult or travesty
I’ve made light of you and your son and his mother
But I think you’ll smile and say tell me another

But now I must come down to Earth with a bump
For talking to air makes me feel like a chump
In spite of the beauty, the air that I breathe
As much as I’d like to, I just can’t believe

But maybe if I were to walk any street
And ashes and embers should shower my feet
Where a bush is ablaze for a fire’s been made
And it should say, ‘Hey, call the fire brigade.’
Then there might be hope for this cynical waif
For something like that might just give me faith
For now though I’ll try to live life good and fine
And maybe God willing, you’ll show me a sign.

Yours faithfully…

If the Lord Be Willing

If The Lord be willing,
Well so then I am too!
I’ll be sending out His healing,
Some for Him and some for you!

If the Lord be willing,
Well then I’m thrilling!
I’ll be sending out a clue.
One is yellow and one is blue.

If the Lord be willing,
Then I’ll be chilling!
Well bent on kneeling,
Atop of His own ceiling!

And that will just have to make my perfect due!
Because He came through me just to get to you!

                                  As in Sodom and Gomorrah
God may be willing to spare our nation
If a few righteous can be found.

                                       Repentance is needed

                                          to be of worth
It must be followed by a change
                                      Of heart and conduct.

                                          Make it so...

I Love You and I'M Willing To Set You Free

Late nights when I can’t sleep
I sit up wondering if our love or what we have is going to last
I love you
But I have some many questions about your love for me
I do everything to make you happy
Even when I’m so sick I don’t even want to get out of bed
I still cook and clean for you
To show you that I Love you
But is what I’m doing going to be good enough
You always talk about your ex you still have some of her things and her pictures on
her cell phone
You say it ant nothing but when I look at you I can see so much more
If you are not ready to be with me and have a relationship
Then all you got to do is tell me
I would understand
Just don’t sit here and lead me
Like your little toy puppet on a string
That you are controlling
I love you
But if I had to set you free for you to be happy
Then I would do so
Cause I do not want you to be with me and be in pain
Cause if you love someone you should set them free
And for you I am willing to do so
Because I love you.

Premium Member Fate Leads the Willing

FATE LEADS THE WILLING
when my life
my very wellbeing
depends on the actions of those around me
it’s a trial to my innate sensibilities to bring my side

if my destiny is to live my final years in isolation
cut off from the interaction with others
it shouldn’t be any hardship
as I can employ this time to the enrichment of my scant knowledge
to learn to do without material trappings of this capitalist world
admit that we are guided by the rules of nature
and I must accept all things are beyond one’s own personal power

every day
     every hour
          every minute of my day
is another chance for a different path

there are very few things that we can control
also those who resist the pull of Fate will feel hamstrung by events that alter
          their life plans
an individual who accepts the things that occur in life that are beyond his
          control
can lead a happy life by controlling negative emotions and passions

Ready, willing, able
I've changed names as you can see
Please help me dear God

They say its never too late
With breath you gave me.

A Willing Player

All I really want, at least, for someone to pretend
Not for the sake of them, of course, if only to suspend
I play the fool every time, and isn’t that a pity
All I really want, is someone who is willing to play it with me

Willing

To give everything for nothing
Occupy a desk, to provide something

Work for God every day willingly
Openly pronounce faith, filling me
Right up with all that I need
Kindling a fire, that all may be freed

Forgoing the ego for the greater good
Original, free-willed man better understood
Risking it all

Giving it all
Only to be ostricized by
Devilish lies

                                Altruism is my rallying cry

I'M Willing To Forget All About You

I'm willing to forget all about you

I'm willing to try

I'm willing to forget all about you

But all I do is cry

I'm willing to forget all about you

Because you've left me so scarred

I'm willing to forget all about you

But its so hard

I'm willing to forget all about you

But loneliness isn't something I can take

I'm willing to forget all about you

But I don't want to make another mistake

I'm willing to forget all about you

But I love you so damn much

I'm willing to forget all about you

But I can't live without your touch

I'm willing to forget all about you

It sounds so good to be free of you

I'm willing to forget all about you

I don't know what's true

I'm willing to forget all about you

But baby I'll never forget

I'm willing to forget all about you

That I was your babygirl, your sexy brunette

I'm willing to forget all about you

I've been the one who's cared so much

I'm willing to forget all about you

I hope you'll miss my touch

I'm willing to forget all about you

Love is just as contagious as the flu

I'm willing to forget all about you

Thats the one thing I know is true

Not Willing To Trust

Not Willing to Trust

What was it about them we regretted (Not regurgitated)?
Causing us a lot of things we have deeply regretted
That proceeded making us have a lot and much heartburn
When we found out about their false income return.

Before he never has given any presents to people at all
And his so much bad behavior occurring many did appall
After through all of his paperwork you were glancing
Had done a lot of dancing along with much romancing.

Then he always thought some way near the very end
Not paying no taxes all of us would never need to offend
You can't see all of my things in middle of an audit
They were all fools and many of them actually bought it.

There ain't any information from them we will gain
How disturbing they all are driving me completely insane
He even actually had a lust for women with a big bust;
Us he surely does disgust and we are not willing to trust.

Premium Member Willing To Cheat

Why would you candidly care who you beat?
Let them sigh and squirm, no need to retreat.
Are you one of the ones willing to cheat?
It makes the elitist's pain more replete.
The Founders thought fairness helps all compete,
cheating, the word we dassent dare repeat.
Many march on, there can be no defeat;
this passion makes lives forever complete.

Self-righteousness is the high hope we heed,
even if it will not serve every need.
When we win, we will then soundly succeed;
rightfully reaching our true status, creed -
for those part of this tribe, like us indeed.
Bold fallen foes surely deserved to bleed.
This is the fresh start of a brand new breed,
from their yoke we are all finally freed!

Contrarian concepts should be banned,
let us go back to times things were once grand.
Free up our spirits let pure hearts expand,
all shall strive to the death, never disband!
We fought for this, it ought to be our land;
with God's rules they must meet every demand.
This Union will fail, no way it can stand;
as we cheat, it shall soon be well in hand.
