"Bonjour, in the cocktail woods"
I see the waffled leaves of teal trees painting pink moon,
With diamond dahlia arcs, flowering an orchid boon
Sprinkling love of french perfumed spells and cocoa mystique,
Flickering in neon scented star seeds of rose-glossed antique

For, I'm the fragrant fluorescence of pure peace lilies,
Floating amidst dancing dove's glowing daisies
In a redolent riverbank, loving life like the sweet butter-sun,
Wandering in black forests, enveloping magic in red ribbons
Defrosting my white chocolate heart peeking through tinkles,
Singing beyond the glass petals of peony and snowdrop marvels;

Perhaps, plush strawberries too have starry scars,
On their silken ganache skin, bleached with calendula and mars
And my luscious butterscotch lips tremble at the blurry squeaks,
Ruffled by minty chills in my cherry-blushed cheeks

I search for addictive caffeine in gold-glazed dawns that bask,
Pouring nectarine reveries in lavender litchi hearts
Life's a bittersweet syrupy sea, coated with tangy rainbow hues,
Forlorn, this forbidden folklore is shaded with sycamore's adieus

They say, mocha pupils and vanilla haze of iris,
Can carve a melon hued watercolor portrait alive,
But I believe that the purest is never a sweet dessert survived,
In this delusional donut-shaped globe and tangerine beehive;

So, I shove my identity in Van Gogh's abstractly bejeweled canvas,
And let my caramel brown hair, gleam in golden hymns of aqua
Waving walnut "goodbyes" to velvet ochre sands and sapphire skies,
Forevermore, fluttering hummingbird's dreams in oscillating flamingo galaxies.

Twenty-Eight Tiers

My daughter's getting married
To a super guy called Tom,
It's really fast approaching,
It won't be very long.

The wedding dress is sorted,
The venue and the flowers,
The music and the fireworks,
But the cake, it took us hours.

We went to do some tasting,
Each sponge was quite divine,
Chocolate orange, vanilla
Pimms, coffee and praline.

The raspberry and the champagne
Made us salivate,
Strawberry and white chocolate
Tasted oh so great.

There was banana and spicy cinnamon,
Ginger and caramel,
All so gratifying,
Oh and Battenberg as well.

The carrot cake with walnuts
Was tasty as can be,
Rhubarb and rose petal
And one flavoured with green tea.

Piña colada with coconut
Like kisses on our lips,
Chocolate tiramisu
Oh the calories on our hips.

Odd flavours such as beetroot,
Pistachio and courgette
Were actually quite delightful,
A taste we won't forget.

Earl Grey with lavender,
Pumpkin with peanut butter,
Mouth-wateringly delectable
They got us all a flutter.

Chocolate fudge with peppermint,
Marshmallow and key lime,
Traditional dried fruit,
They were all sublime.

How could we make our choices
For a three tiered wedding cake,
We just couldn't do it
So we've gone for twenty-eight!

White

A tone, an absorption of colour.
A clean slate, the colour of rage
The parts of the eyes that you aim for before you die
Crash-Bang
Flash

You are in the unknown, unafraid, heaven close enough that you can finally see the clarity on a page.
I'm sorry that I stutter, my hands gittering with my heart clanging as I touch the marble in which we are made,
to build ourselves up from transparent ashes.
I am the colour of lies-seen as a harmless thing, sending away rays of refracting light.
The last thing you see when you die-

I'm sorry that I'm not as soft as I used to be, like the white chocolate that bleeds from the fondue fountain
You never never liked me on my own
I am alone.

A piece of art, that is before you decide to make a change, an empty canvas, always a start unclean after the stain, never taken as I am.
I am not an often used pencil, I am ignored unless the situation calls for it.
I am told that I am the goal of purity and the colour of religion.
A colour that is "represented", but I have never felt so alone.

How often do you think of me?
I am the intimidation and untouched higher goal of creators
I'd give my entirety to be colourful again
to stop being an erased stain.

A tone that is mistaken as a colour, just as I am mistaken for mentally healthy, the same.
It is a refraction but can never stand alone
a relatable highlight
because just like the colour I was given I am just here to brighten others works, others paintings, shadings on black paper to stand out and brighten the way for others-
But never my own.

I am the colour white

Sipping Coffee

First sunbeams in the reflection of
dew drops, as your silent tears of melancholy
beholds the glowing moon with your
intense gaze veiled in nostalgia,
hidden in your deepest sapphire emotions,
my Venus.
The aroma of caramel in the
breath of your gold heart,
wrapped in a blanket of diamond dreams,
yearning for mine, beneath a cobalt sky
of hope, my korean princess.
In the cathedral of your majestic seraphic aura—
the sanctuary where my soul
merges with yours in a profound
spiritual union in a spiral of time,
reaching serenity in a sense of completion
and inner peace forevermore,
my marvelous creature.
Your hazel-seeped warmth completes me
in the depth of my marrow, as i
feel your tepidity flowing in my veins,
any my bones with your every whisper,
your unseen sorrows in
elegies of diffusive bitterness,
my Aphrodite.
As sipping the warm aftertaste of you,
thinking about the times we
spent together in the precious moments
of our days, my Venus.
A fragrance of elysian serenity in the
ebony drops of your lips dancing with mine
in a passionate tango, my korean princess.
The intense taste in the notes of
honeyed white chocolate
softly touching upon my heart
in an ecstasy of spiritual emotional bliss,
my marvelous creature
The shape of my heart is the silhouette of your unconditional love in its grace and elegance
with the aftertaste of a celestial angel
serenading your promises of tomorrow,
being my faith in all my days,
and in the darkness of my
bitter agonies, my blue rose.
I lose the track of time, hearing the wind call your name, feeling the rain as your kisses
upon my heart to the moon and back
and everywhere, my beautiful soul.
You are the reason why i can live and die,
inhaling your saccharine existence.
Eternally you, love of my life
my infinito

Sugar Mama

By no means, can anyone consider me slow to loving.
Yet, ive never explored the world with, an older woman.
But im not holding bacc because of the difference in age.
I love hard, if you're my target, then no distance is safe.
I got a sweettooth, and you're the only one that can help.
My sweetheart, the only candy that i can accept.
And ive had gumdrops, pop roccs, taffy, and jellybeans.
But you're like white chocolate, candy that's rarely seen.
Tootsie rolls, dum dums, down to lollipops.
Am i a succer for love, hmmm...probably not.
Now & laters, milk duds, bubble gum, and m & m's.
Addicted to your sugar walls, no room for other women friends.
Ever since i tasted your whatchamacallit.
I lost my appetite for hersheys with almonds.
Butterscotch, dipsticcs, life savers, and mambas.
A sweet dedication that goes out to all the sugar mamas!

Along the Cottage Kitchen Garden Wall

The heavy odor of lavender polish softly opened the door
Peeling paint family holiday house timber-slated chairs
Orange-flower water the tick-tock of the grandfather clock
Pruning orange fruit trees which grew behind the house
Sunlight streaming into the room through sloping window
onto a table, box of cigarettes a carved pipe and a photo.
Hanging from the mirror by two ribbons, a little plush hat.
Sweet air scented with potting earth and horse manure
A valley tumbled into a blue-green canopy of forest gums
Humming sofly under her breath they threaded their way
Glittering eyes rain dripping eyelashes corkscrew curls
Living in a woodland forest cottage like country princesses
White painted railings polished wooden floors glass inset
Orchards laden with blossoms, tea on the valley verandah
White chocolate eclairs rosehip apple and Lady Grey teas
Vegetable garden ,lavender ,daisies , foxgloves and roses.
Thicket of hazel, holly and brambles coated the under slope
Antique French doors large wooden shutters, blue tint spiral
An orchard that glows red in the sunset from the studio
Glimpse of fine white teeth, challenging smile fan aflutter
Enchanted room night of candlelight sweetly familiar odors
Catching tadpoles + baby frogs in the lilly and crocus pond

The Illusion of Poverty

In my poverty
I have the luxury of
Not starving or being hungry
In that same poverty
I have the luxury of
having a warm bed and
A space to call my own
In my poverty
I have the luxury of
Friends in high places
I dress in suits
I entertain on stages
Sometimes I limp
But mostly I'm walking
I pay little for nice clothes
I indulge in white chocolate
And my daily bread is free
My education comes from classes
Free to the public
And my spirit who guides me
Makes me thankful with my pen
All the things that I have
While others in the same poverty
Have nothing, hunger, freeze
With no where to go
But I see my comfort in God's hands
I see Gods sentimentality
Towards me
I look back and see so many things
Through poverty that shouldn't be
But was
All the nice things I got for nothing
It wasn't for free
But it was by grace
The difference between poverty
And providence
God is my Moses in my wilderness

Color My World White

White
Snow, so beautiful and pure,
Clouds, fluffy and soft,
A candle burning in the night.
A newborn baby, crying his way into the world,
The final breath of an old man, as he passes into Summerland,
The calming sound of the ocean, as it breaks on the shore.
Vanilla ice cream, plain and simple, and yet so sweet,
100 year old wine, old and rich,
Delicious white chocolate melting in my mouth.
A swim in the pool, cold and exhilarating,
A relaxing vacation, surfing in the Bahamas,
That sense of being, after an hour of meditation.
White will clear your heart and soul and make you pure.

Shall I Compare You To the Winter Sun

When a leaf hung from bough or none at all,
The sun runs at the pace of cheetah,
And the moon travels at the velocity of a snail,
The darkness holds the world longer than before.
The razor-sharp mountain's peak creams with snowflakes,
Like a white chocolate piping swirled over dark mocha,
Stream and bogs freeze into icicles,
So trees, shrubs, and bushes were feared by tyranny winter,
The whole universe droops in sadness,
But the tyranny winter feels no remorse,
Standing tall and high stares at and smiles.
How beautifully, the merciful sun throws it's a beam,
How gently, the pitiful sun drives snows from mountain's peaks,
How happily, the trees, shrubs, and bushes rise and beam,
How dazzling sun washes away melancholy of all,
So I ask you, shall I be your winter sun?

A Cure For Chocoholics

What I learned from the web today

It’s a fact, not merely fiction
That there’s a true addiction
To chocolate that we can’t deny
But the folks at Conjurer’s Kitchen
Have come up with something *****in’
That all you chocoholics can now try
Your sanity’s worth saving
So to cure this chocolate craving
They say you must eat something that you dread
And to stop this awful yearning
Their kitchen’s now is turning
Out white chocolate life-like babies’ heads

If white chocolate’s not your flavor
Perhaps you might then favor
An ethnic baby in some darker hue
Either way they feel for sure
These baby heads will cure
Any chocolate cravings left in you
