Pot-poetry

We've had many laughs in PoetrySoup
That lift weary hearts when they start to droop
Laughters a freebie
A sure guarantee
Sup from the soup and enjoy a good whoop.

Laughters infectious, it flows oversea
Different nations writing poetry
Yet all in one pot
The pot holds a lot
Pot-poetry full of variety.

"God created man(kind) in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. "
"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
~Genesis 1:31 & 1:27

"In diversity there is beauty and there is strength. "
~Maya Angelou

grateful God created
a vast variety
every face born unique
how boring it would be
if the view out windows
reflected only me

Variety of Wisdom

They set aside views sometimes avoiding conflict real.
Voicing their concerns to no-one that matters truly,
Ones that stir the pot, while time is what they steal,
These voices in shadows sustain all that’s unruly.
Riding the severity, ripping others minds cruelly.
They have no servitude, just societies recklessness.
Hidden behind the true wealth, fading unduly,
They do not fight for reality, existing in weakness.

Those who ultimately rise for all have great consciousness.
These are the thinkers, poets, philosopher’s existing free.
Each of these set aside and speaks driving from darkness.
Creativity from mind, allows them to speak, others to see.
Humankind has vast distinct differences, of what is freedom.
Unfortunately very few times, do rulers have true wisdom?

Variety Is the Spice of Life

We made a simple particle,
it soon began to fade,
We gave it spin and mass and charge,
much longer now it stayed.

We gave it flavors strange and charm,
and soon we had quark.
Neutrino here, a photon there,
enough to fill the dark.

Piety Variety

There was a preacher named Gunn
Who kept all the ladies on the run.
He caught quite a few
And first thing he knew
The pews were full of sons of Gunn.

Desire

It's a taken, never a given--
It's spice? Variety ecstasy driven.
One at a time, for me that works best,
Though often I'll think of the last or the next.
One at a time, so get in her line--
You'll be glad that you did, at least for a time.
Smile and relax! Smoke or drink wine--
Then, back to your life until the next time.

Variety

Some eyes are blue;
Some eyes are brown.
Variety makes
The world around.

Some hair is black,
Some hair is white,
One day is made up
Of darkness and light

Skin colors differ,
It must be said,
But one thing is true:
All blood is red.

Premium Member Vast Variety of Race

Civilizations used white to mitigate the lack of black.
Black is not just skin color but also a human spirit.
Imagine indigenous people having red skin plaque!!
While things seem disastrous, it is just painted on it.

Civility will be total only If all races are treated fairly.
Thus, do not squander your life if time runs limited.
Not the same as 1960s; CRT has no sign of diversity.
CRT prep does not contain a notion of finitude.

Light exposes everything in some way or another.
The sight of a wacky mind is preferred above others.
Superior words develop at the moment they recover.
There is no compelling reason to blame our ancestors.

Nature will piddle it happen if she so discovers.

Life develops for its own durability.
Shaded Earths mutate regularly.
To preserve impartiality, we should be blind.
For exploring, notice the hues of parental rind.

Our fragility leads to family growth progeny.

It is plausible to identify prominence.
When do we have complete awareness?
People are forced to crack without food.  ?
Without the deemed necessary mood.

CRT is a crucial forerunner of our world's drooping.
And we're all equal; all have the endowment to evolving.
The modern age is replete with hate; thus, let's end it.
Let's not fail to renew forgiveness to the world's past.

Variety

How many stupid do you need?
We’ve an entire variety of breed.

All of them are highly qualified.
In all absurd they’re specialized.

You can get from them only criticism.
Or else rules and manners of modernism.

Well trained in tackling the flock.
And in handling the situation after giving the shock.

Alas, Alas! Their increasing thirst.
Bound to their utilitarianism first.

Great liars and great actors on the face of earth
Found specially in official capacity
People of authority are fool of first water
If they think human authority stays forever.

Premium Member Not a Garden Variety Rhyme

From time to time
I look at my lawn
Which makes me yawn
So I try to design

By expanding the mind
To get in sync
As I try to think
Of landscaping rhymes

I plant a hedgerow
For all to see
Poetic esprit
With creative tempo

Then in go some flowers
Of which nothing’s sweeter
Than blossoming meter
That amuse by the hour

It’s so fun to disperse
Over the grounds
Sights so profound
Rosy in verse

And the flora beat
Soothes the senses
Along the fences
A rhythmical feat

Since all is in bloom
I soak in the scene
Of a new rhyming scheme
That purges my gloom

Premium Member The Variety of Liquorice

A liquorice sweet has a real variety
has been popular for many years
liquorice allsorts are everyone's fav
such a mixture makes one hit the gear

A cold remedy really needs full flavour
blackcurrant and liquorice sweets a real cure
to get you moving, drive Catherine's Wheel
so it's really tasty makes it the real deal

Now quite diverse is Liq Torpedoes
your taste buds feel a sure-fire hit
from there you can have Liq Comfits
too many will make you unfit

When one is offered a cake dessert
you think its a sponge in soft cream
but Pontefract Cakes are so different
Liquorice small tablets, not what they seem

Now also there's Cream Rock and Liq Sticks
too many to mention including Black Jacks
these were the days of liquorice delight
lovely memories of your tasty sweet rack!

(Just a little piece from my memories of favourite liquorice sweets in my younger days.)

My Wife Wish Variety In a Bed

My wife wish variety in a bed,
And I never argue with her at all.
She sleeping now by the wall,
But for me -the edge not so bad?

The old adage “variety is the spice of life” is quite profound!
William Cowper was the author and didn’t need to utter a sound
The words are perfect for creative souls
For mixing things up helps to achieve your goals
After almost 300 years his message still works
And intuitively I’ve long had that quirk
Now more than ever I’m mixing it up
I move around to different places to “fill my cup”
Sitting still for very long drives me nuts!
All I need to do is avoid being a “klutz”!

Pain In Variety

We need a change in society
I'm seeing Heartbreak, backstabbing, Violence and Betrayal
People are full of hate, Drama, and don't know how to be faithful
We're dealing with pain in variety

New day, new tragedy, sadly that's how it goes
Terrorists setting off bombs at crowded shows
We idolize celebrities who are alcoholics and who have a powdered nose
We beg to see girls naked, then judge their body when we see them without their clothes

We're obsessed with social media like its the be all and end all
So concerned with celebrities that we ignore when our friends call
I don't care about who's marriage is on the rocks, this is a sadder state of affairs
Guys are ridiculed for putting their pride down and showing a girl they care

Teens are using knives and blasting guns as if they are toys
We're told to be quiet and made to feel like we don't have a voice
Speak up for what you believe in and they'll have you silenced
The government send us to war and act shocked when kids are violent

They blame it on cartoons and Hip-Hop
We're automatically criminals if we wear hoodies and listen to Eminem or Slipknot
Society has this set of clear rules
You need the latest phone, clothes and hairstyles so you appear cool

If you don't, then Society won't accept you
There's an invisible barrier that you won't get through
Sadly this is just the basics
Who knew regular people would treat other regular people with such hatred?

We need a change in society
I'm seeing Heartbreak, backstabbing, Violence and Betrayal
People are full of hate, Drama, and don't know how to be faithful
We're dealing with pain in variety
