Written for Andrea Dietrich, a remarkable, talented human and sincere, caring friend

I’ve never even met her, we’ve never shared space,
Yet I continuously, tenderly, view her face.
She woke one same ole’ morn, on her same ole’ street
To retire that night with terror lying under her sheets.

She’s always been conscientious, responsible and prepared,
But she’s never dealt with this brand of scared.
It isn’t that bad news had never before appeared,
It just hadn’t carried such fierce shades as it neared.

I feel her frightened ache tremble and I silently shake.
My faith demands I believe He did not cruelly forsake
One who never selfishly sought her own delight
Over her commitments to living proper and right.

It must feel surreal to her that the world is the same
When her life’s been yanked, injured and maimed.
Everything must surely seem foreign and strange
As she struggles through fears web just to maintain.

Rudely, she was handed a nightmare wrapped in unfair
That I desperately wish my emotional sum could repair.

Tremble My Heart

Tremble my heart,
follow my lead this way
Listen to the violins,
Before they begin to play.

As the doves cry, in sorrow
& the hogs, grunt at the moon.
They will be waiting for you,
In a ditch meant, for your tomb.

Listen to the mockingbirds
The ruffles of, each tree.
The lonely dark, skyline
Thats where they will be.

If your looking for love
Please dont look, that way
If you want them, as they want you.
Be prepared to dance,
In a gloomy graveyard ballroom.

Dont feel sorry for them,
As they dont care for you.
The cruelty of true love,
Is buried in this cemetary
Of doom.

Dont be afraid, as yet
Dont walk away
The prayers & angels surrounding you
Have saved your life today.

Tremble and Thrills
…
I’m thrilled you like me
Think I’m suave and sophisticated
But I tremble at the thought
That we may be falling in love
For love is blind to what is on my mind

Tremble Re-Write

She kissed me under the lamp post
A kiss so soft that my lips trembled
I felt her being entering my heart
And my soul kneeling before her
Wanting her kiss to last forever.

Suddenly I was afraid.
I longed for her to be my destiny
But relationships would have to be sacrificed
And Love cannot be sullied with such things,
And then, she was gone.

We both knew it could never be.
She was the Earth and I was the Moon
Orbiting on the outskirts of her Life,
I was always just a tear away.

The years have past
And still she lies deep within my being.
If there is a God, pray grant this Sinner one last request.

When I take my last breath,
Let my Soul find her again,
In a place where time and space have no meaning
Where love is not afraid and where heaven can see
That beautiful girl I kissed under the lamp post
Still trembling my memory.

The Founder of the Company
   The Chief of Staff
The Chairman of the Board
   Titles synonymous with 'Lord'

All rise. Pindrop silence
   Here comes the Judge
   Hearts frantically beat
Tremble as you take your seat

But the President of the United States
What excitement does his presence create

When Tyrants Tremble

When Tyrants Tremble

when tyrants tremble
at the fury of those who tremble no more

their veneer of stability seems rotten to the core

when the trembling ones shake off their long-hushed fear

the trembling ones
tremble now with a rage that injustice everywhere can hear

when tyrants tremble
as the dispossessed shake their foundations of tyrannical conceit

tyrants tremble
when the common ones expose the phantoms of tyranny's deceit

when the trembling ones
refuse to be cowed and bowed and beaten down again

the trembling ones
scream their vehemence as they have little to lose and freedom and dignity to gain

when tyrants tremble
their trembling resounds and echoes around the world

tyrants tremble
then in each far-flung tyranny at the peoples' flag being unfurled

and finally when the trembling ones
take back the citadels, the streets, the squares, and the parks

the trembling ones
send a message to power that revolutions may be triggered by the merest of livid sparks

and that tyranny may reign for a decade or a generation or even two

but tyranny must eventually succumb to the rage of the common ones that appears suddenly out of the bright clear blue

this isn't a warning or a threat or a declaration of ill intent

this is a sober lesson in history for the peoples' history with oppressive stasis can never be content

when tyrants tremble
they should know that there will someday come a trembling surprise

for the garbage heap of history patiently awaits each tyrant's wretched demise

Premium Member Love Is Not Constant

Love isn't constant--its wings poised for flight;
altho sometimes climbs clouds on a dare.
Oft softly trembles with unmatched delight;
elusive as catching handfuls of air.

Romantic love exists, proper and tame.
Hidden love, oft times returned from the past.
Love stolen, with blemish, but seldom shame.
Teenage Forever Love, probably won't last.

Love rushes us to join in dance and song.
Passionate kisses burn chared words to mist.
When heat disappears, love might go along,
regardless of whispered moments of bliss.

Sad we can't bottle love, keep it well-stirred.
But, like a river, it needs breadth and sun.
Running swiftly, it might leave undeterred
fissures as footprints when distance is run.

Tremble Not Now

Tremble not now
As thy world takes a turn
As thunderstorms rage
And dark clouds emerge
Tremble not now
Whilst your foundations may shake
As the rock you were stood on
Crumbles and breaks
Tremble not now
Whilst all around seems quite mad
As friends quick disperse
Life bleak and so sad
Tremble not now
When strife disrupts the calm
As Shadows grow fierce
In a place filled with harm
No, tremble not now
Hold you head up high and smile
For what does not break you
Makes you stronger my child

Do Not Tremble

Do not tremble, do not tremble little flower,
I won’t pick you from this garden.
You are now just a blossom,
I am an addicted wanderer

Ahead I see a path of stones
beneath a crimson horizon,
behind a tree with many branches,
One gold fruit that never wanes.

I found ashes in a wooden plate
that tasted like the elysian nectar.
I rejoiced even when a breeze
scattered together fortune and ill fate.

I have the sovereignty of the old craft,
When flying I outrun the clouds
clutching them with my bare hands,
building castles without any heft.

I pick now my walking stick
and I greet you with my old hat.
The next reunion will be among strangers
and this spring with be just an old trick.

My Heart's Tremble

Waves of the sea deep down in my heart
rage side by side with puff of twilight wind
it trembles my whole body embraced by the sunset
Lord...
more than the amount of the sands of the shore
more than the sacred hymn of angels
more than the crying so loudly of beseechers
Lord...
How deep I long for Thou.

Oh Me Little Knees Did Tremble

Oh me little knees did tremble.

Oh me little knees did tremble
And me teeth did rattle too
Cos a shiela crossed her legs
Had no panties on it's true
I near fell out of the bus
It sagged a bit my jaw
I rocked and rolled and wobbled
And got up off the floor
For I was pure as sweet sunshine
A mummys boy for sure
Never let out on a date
Oh what are shielas for
I gazed at these large bosoms
One day at kmart too
Our eyes did lock
I was in shock
I hid inside the loo (toilet)
Then a cousin flaunted charm
To try a short arm wrestle
But she nearly broke me arm
Yes she has testostestle
What will I do
I cannot woo
Some Aussie sweet potater
I'm shy enough
A powder puff
Perhaps I'll come out later
