Break Na Tayo

“I love you, pwera biro
Hanggang sa langit ang pag-ibig ko
Peksman ikaw lang
Mamatay man, Hanggang sa mabuwang
Tayo na forever, pinapangako ko
Till death do us part hanggang sa dulo,
Never na ‘tong magbabago
Para sayo susungkitin ko ang mga ulap at buwan
Ganyan kita kamahal
Wag mu lang akong iiwan
Puso ko sayo ay iaalay, Magpasawalang hanggan”
Pero tao ka lang NATUTUKSO
Isipan moy naguguluhan, Nalilito

First Farewell

We wrapped a long length of red holy cloth around
his body, slung him between two green bamboo poles,
and carried him to the edge of the Bagmati river.
We covered his cold nostrils with soft cotton balls and
placed six sacred beads of Rudraksha in his palm for moksha.

We lit a bunch of sandalwood incense and stuck their points
near his head. We threw a tong of rice on his chest and started
chanting mantras for the peace of his soul. I walked around
the pyre with a burning piece of wood and lit a handful of kindling
at his feet. The dry logs whooshed and the pieces of flesh
sizzled and spluttered. The flakes of ashes flew off and fell on our heads.

Later, as the sun turned red on the horizon, we left the burning
pyre to go home. The black oil lantern was hanging down from the wall
its faint orange light barely filled the balcony of my house.
Nearby, my small brother kept on expecting for Grandfather home soon
from the farm, with a bottle of baby pots, pedaling his rusty axon bicycle.

At Breaking Point

There is nothing in this world that i can possibly think of or think of doing to tell you how much I love you.
You are so sweet to me, i can't almost stand it wen you call me handsome and cute, cause it sounds so sweet to me.
If there is anything in this world that you can think of for me to prove my love to you, just name it. I will be all over that in a flash.
Even though we didn't get to see each other for very long cause of my dumb ass, that was still what i wanted to see today really bad. Looking into your BEAUTIFUL green eyes today was like looking into Gods heaven.
The only thing that is missing is your touch on my skin. I probably would not be able to hold it in me and take a hold of you by your waist and press you against me, and than the smell of your hair would turn me on to the BREAKING POINT.
I would start by kissing down your neck and curress your neck with my tong.
Than while curressing your body, I would start slipping my hands under your shirt, and under your bra and upon your perfect titties.
Than i would start pulling your bra and shirt off at the same time and begin kissing your titties. Kiss them all the way down to your belly button and back up to your face.
When i would lift your upon my hips i would carry you to the bed and start kissing you back down your titties and your ribs and your belly button and than an inch lower passed your belly button just to get you a little more wet and wanting.

Sa Likod Nitong Politika

Malimit kitang tinutukso kaibigan
Subalit madalas ka namang minamasdan.
Akala mo laang na wala kang halaga,
Kabaligtaran pagkat labis na mahal ka.

Oo,tinutukso ka sa’yong pagkatao,
Sinasaktan pa mula ilong hanggang puso.
Kahit man ika'y halos mapatay sa tukso,
Paumanhin pagkat lahat yaon ay biro.

Halimaw akong palagi kang sinasakal,
Yunuyurakan minsan iyong puri’t dangal.
Subalit hirang sampu niring kamalian,
Katut’hana’y labis-labis kitang mahal.

Totohanan ‘tong sigaw ko na “MAHAL KITA!”,
Oo, dinig ng Diyos tangi kong Prensesa
 Katutuhanan sa likod ng politika,
Ang sa puso’y totoong itinatangi ka.

Trapped In Love

You stood before me,
Smile o’ so bright,
The plate of mush you gave me,
I've always feasted at night.

A reached my hand out,
Wishing for just one word,
Yet you whisked away,
Leaving me o' so hurt.

The metal bars I rest within,
The 'love' you so called,
Yet it feels o' so cold,
Even with my burning heart.

Next time you come my way,
I beg you to stay,
As the 'friend' you so called,
I bid you again,
Farewell.

The Unknown

Whispers, whistles and whimpers graced the witless end
Far apart sprang strange smeared summer songs
Ruthless dark winter cloud oppressed the entire bend
Tang tong tongue twisted tales were narrated by the toothless
The weaning ones sat on the set sand
Not once nor twice did the melting sea ice rise
A fierce frost arose and all were driven to the land

Time telling term tales was all they could use
Every move tirelessly tempted the cloud to burst
They tumbled on tiny icy stars, just like the rice
At times voices and boasting images smiled from the east
Belly powdered powered women drank the curse
Fires from their pockets slaughtered their thighs
Anonymous panicking present embraced the past.

The piped lames and flames popped and aimed on the fading surface
A shopped chopped tray and a famished rat was what they needed
The clairvoyant forced a cry but all that appeared was a taunting face
In an automated power the sacrifice was loaded while all nodded
Peaked pears fell from the tomb and the fading surface wasn’t in place
As the wrath struck all knelt and pleaded.

RAP TUNE:

Kung alaala'y magawi, sa iyo oh Irog,
Ang ngiti sa labi'y, sariwang hamog,
Matamis, malinaw, at isang biyaya,
Ng bukang liwayway, sa damong linga.

Pumapawi sa uhaw nitong yaring puso,
Tanggal ang init ng damdaming paso,
Sapagkat sa tuwinang, ika'y nasa isipan,
Naiibsan tong, mapait na kalungkutan.

LYRICAL:
Sapat na ang alaala mo sinta
Pumawi sa lungkot ng pagiisa
Dasal bawat araw sana’y bukas ng
Kapiling ka….

Sapat ng isipin ka’t imaginin,
Upang matahimik isip kong napapraning,
Walang sandaling nagmukmok alam kong
Ika’y sa kin……

RAP TUNE:
Ang tanging galak, na hihigit lamang,
Gamogamong ako'y, sa iyo madarang,
Mahagkan, mayakap, at aking madama,
Ang init ng iyong, taos pusong kalinga.

Malungkot man ang gabing di ka katabi,
Hanap man ang iyong malalambot na labi,
Hangad man ng balikat ang iyong ulunan,
Ang blankong tingin may lagi sa kawalan...

Lagi mong tatandaan....
...Sa puso't isipan lagi kang nandiyan.

Nagpapatapang, tanggap hamon...
Gabay na liwanag, katahimikan....
Kapayapaan....sa magulong isipan.

Pagmamahal sa iyo ang tanging katotohanan...

Changing the Soundtrack

(the bells of St.John the Baptist, Devizes, go Pete Tong)

Sunday, summer, church bells chiming
Ringing patterns, sounding light
Ancient forms of echo, rhyming
Complex rhythms, bounded, tight
Resounding voices throng the breeze
As tower captains keep in time
Wise bells with personalities
In sacred music, old, sublime

Last month the bells went out of sync
And changed the soundtrack of the town
No one heard but me, I think, but
‘Twas the Stranglers, “Golden Brown”

(dum, dum, di dumdumdum...)

Reckless Ron's Explosive Barbecue

Reckless Ron from sunny Bennelong
Turned barbecue sausage without a tong,
He'd use his teeth to open beer,
He'd call out loud, " I've got no fear,"
But alas, one day he left the gas on.

Authors note:
Bennelong is the point in Sydney Harbour, NSW, Australia, where the famous Sydney Opera House is located.

Nakakaiyak Parin

Kaluluwa ko’y muling sinasariwa
Ang nangagngulatding-talulot ng tuwa
Na bibihira na lamang nadadalaw’t
Nadidiligan nitong abang gunita.

Dito ngayon sa ‘king pagbabalik-sulyap
Sa kahapong tila ‘di malip’rang-uwak;

O ‘yong alaala nasawing pag-ibig…
Kinakamandag parin aking isip.

This Morning

This morning

As other mornings today also same glow gave delight
Sun was in routine from the east throwing light
Shadow lengthened behind it trees left to be dwarf
Dogs were slept in the mould of sand hill without bar
In their head and belly crows were playing games of jokes

Far in the valleys sound of river hummed
Explicitly ear was attentive to hear swollen plays of run
Rungs of the bells in church and in temple were ting tong ding dong
A trail of people standing in queue for their turn to learn
Many times mind revolted why such worships not responded ever by God

Mother’s urge becomes good and orientation for culture and religion for
In learning process of life everything primary education in earth
All followed so asked to go on no question in given by big ones
Queue in this morning in the same routine was busy as born
Acceptance of words to eat given by persons ate own desire

A vacuum of self to reach in required position slept in cave
Attachment of self mixing in thought of bliss grew mission
Told by mother accepted by other just blind without proof of science
A perfume of trust slowly tilted towards other’s culture
Mother agreed culture changed she wore trouser, cloak in morning end.

Hawkins County Sheriff's Report

Hawkins County Sheriff’s Report

Complainant advised that he thought
His girlfriend the thief that he sought
So he set up a trap
Near the couch where he sat
Believing this time she’d be caught

One envelop had dollar bills
One envelop had many pills
When he went to bed
She stayed up instead
In the morning she felt kind of ill

The money and pills were all gone
Then she threw up the pills on the lawn
When he asked for the cash
She said somewhat abashed
It was hidden up under her thong

In his effort to get back his dough
From the place where the sun doesn’t show
With some old kitchen tong
And a brush was too long
He probed but it was a no go

When the sheriff got there he found
Blood flowing freely around
So to the ER
In the back of his car
To free what was so tightly bound

The lady thief was then sedated
The evidence soon confiscated
She was booked for the crime
And is now doing time
The complainant they said was elated

The lesson I’d like to convey
And believe me it’s always this way
If you happen to push
Your loot up your tush
You’ll soon learn why crime doesn’t pay

The Lemon Wedge On the Rim of Your Glass

The Lemon Wedge on the Rim of Your Glass

By Elton Camp

Exposure to germs isn’t always a blight
They make the immune system work right

In normal living, we get all that we need
But lemon wedges all good sense exceed

It’s quite likely that you are going to find
The lemon picker scratched his behind

Washing lemons, restaurants say they do
In most cases, the claim simply isn’t true

Lemons are dirty when they enter the door
In the café, they’ll get contaminated more

Slicing is done with hands germy as can be
And the knives used aren’t of bacteria free

The slices are handled with glove or tong
Think that and you’re usually very wrong

Servers pick them up with hands unwashed
And against the glass rim they are squashed

With pathogenic bacteria your drink is spiked
The risk of getting sick has just been hiked

A recent study found bacteria such as these
Pathogens from skin, saliva and even feces

Even when it’s “No lemon” that you say
It may appear on or in your drink anyway

Drinks lemon-free really ought to remain
If from drinking germs you would abstain
