In the land of finite, measurable calculus of existence,
You are a silhouette of mystique, esoteric obscurity,
A symbol ambiguous, living among realm of precision,
Unreachable to quotidian and simplistic enumeration,
Unamenable to honoring bounds of constrained world;
Yet, allured in metaphors, much alike a pretty woman,
Serenaded by poetic adulation in verses of fascination.

We invoke you when enormity we can’t comprehend
Being clueless of its reach or whether its journey ends:
Numbers uncountable, we postulate, seek your vicinity,
Universe we can’t grasp, we claim, expands infinitely,
Time propelling future, we surmise, ticks into eternity,
Whether space or distance you’re un-fathomed entity;
Oh! Infinity, the truth is, we can’t clasp your immensity.

Why, O, why you chase the unknown and the elusive?
Such a dry emotion to be everlasting without feelings!
Being eternal or endless ~offers not a beloved meaning
Unless you can be sensual, evermore of love romantic
Or the vows tolling forever in unbreakable relationships
Or timelessly striving to create treasures of memories
Or a paradise on earth blooming heavenly, perpetually.

Oh! Infinity, be laudable as can be, to instincts of poetry
But, remain true to self ~unknowable, nebulous intrigue.

The clover lay still, closed,
small, certain,
nothing to offer,
the color of her going dark—
a vitreous-Tyrian.

The bee, chromatic senses’ tasting on the tongue-tip
licking the runes of black-light-lace
circled once, twice—
warm wing-drift brushing kindred nearness
his thorax trembling, scent of sun-saturated-sweetness
nectarous-fragrant with desire.

He loved the clover
and she opened—
bright, fearless, certain—
the sound of yellow flooding her interior
surrendering her nectar into sunlight-passion

petals, wings, one heart
timelessly infused.

Premium Member Where Rare Birds Sing

Golden rays filter through rustling red leaves
Oscillating fall colors to rhythms of evening
Amid sounds exotic as animals roam freely
Deep into wilderness, where rare birds sing,
Where trees groove merrily to musical winds,
Whirling, weaving motifs of autumnal glee;

While leisurely they stroll, exulting playfully,
Exchanging stolen looks of notions romantic,
Divulging, without words, secret love-missives
Lying dormant, yet simmering for some time,
Virgin passions strumming enamored minds
Revealing now openly, fervent beats of life.

“Oh! how I wish” she says, “to live in a cabin,
lingering timelessly, savoring realm pristine,
of blazing autumn prairies, burbling streams,
wandering to spring reveling your company;”

As moonlit vibes sparkle, love in bashful eyes,
Rejoicing first-ever kiss, blissful in paradise.

Premium Member Moonlight Reveries - A Collaboration

My mood is mellow as moonlight gleams
as if she were Orion's treasured orb.
A gilded ornament he's hung on high,
an effulgent light in the vast ebon sky.
I find myself lost in reverie's realm
while Luna glimmers her soft reflection
across these calm cerulean waters,
as gently they ripple over Poseidon's Sea.
Alone in the nuance of this nebulous night,
it's as if I feel his pulse touching me.

"Mighty lord, your sea sways in silken silence
but sovereign, if you could speak to me
what words would you care to share?"

“Why seek my voice when you hear me in ripples,
and if I should whisper through the tide,
my trident would summon storms, not romance.
One breath upon my conch could wake the sleeping deep.
Do not mistake my reflection for my heart,
as Narcissus once mistook water for love.
Even the immortal Gaia knows the ache
of wanting what cannot awaken.
I have left Amphitrite sleeping in her coral halls.
I have watched a fragrant goddess rise naked,
radiantly from a womb of indigo.
Seen Selene spills her silver milk upon my soul,
as her hearts knows what it means to
yearn for he who does not speak.
I am the restless spirit no mortal can tame,
an ancient pulse that controls tempest sighs.
The sea obeys no god timelessly.
It only learns to rise, recede then depart.
Know that infatuation is much like ocean foam,
it forms softly in the embrace of velvet twilight,
then slips between our senses,
disappearing into pelagic sediments.
Do not wander further into my labyrinth,
for, if you dare to surrender to my sovereignty,
I would regret to abandon one as beautiful as you,
in realms where the stars go when they fade."

"I look away from glimmering stars
for their light dimmed in my eyes long ago.
Poseidon, from watery depths you've ascended...
How bold you must think I, a mere mortal
daring to question a god from Olympus.
You speak, not as a suitor but as one in command.
I do not entreat your heart to feel what it does not.
It's not a lover of your realm that I seek.
No, for I would drown at your side
and wash ashore on the flow of evening tide.
My heart wages war against itself
for I've not the courage to trust in love again.
I refuse to cross the threshold to the past
where heartache haunts me day and night."

Was great to collaborate with Lin Lane after over a decade. Thank you.

A Blue Rose Sings

Upon a deep blue rose, a scented song,
so delicate of harmony and sweet;
a melody, whose strains of love replete
I mused upon. To whom could it belong?
To claim such ballad ought have felt so wrong,
but I could ne’er its memory delete;
each note an echo in my own heart’s beat,
alluring me to drift and sing along.

Though how I wish I’d never found the rose
whose music stirred a restlessness in me;
where love once blossomed only sorrow grows
from searching for a love that cannot be,
and timelessly a tear-blue river flows
through heartache’s vale to discontentment’s sea.

Metaphorically they are
As rust to iron
In the fields of
The hunger demon
Ravaging timelessly
Small potatoes
Are like
The Grace of God.

I AM AFRICA

I am Africa, the cradle of mankind,
Where ancient footprints in the sands of time entwined,
The birthplace of humanity, divinely designed,
In my esteemed valleys, where life first aligned.

I am Africa, the cradle of civilization,
Where mighty empires rose with determination,
From the ancient Egypt's pyramids to the Great Zimbabwe walls,
From glorious Mali Empire to Kingdom of Kush, history recalls.

I am Africa, adorned with wonders untold,
From Victoria Falls, a sight to behold,
To the Serengeti, the great wildlife migration known,
The winding Nile River, nature's masterpiece shown.

I am Africa, land of majestic savannas,
Where lion roars and elephant wanders,
From Kilimanjaro's peak to the Rift Valley's floor,
Nature's grandeur timelessly spectacular, evermore.

I am Africa, rich in resources so rare,
From Congo's minerals beyond compare,
To Ghana's gold gleaming bright,
And Nigeria's oil, a source of might.

I am Africa, richly endowed with resources untold,
Diamonds, platinum, copper, and tantalum behold,
I offer fertile soils and abundant rainfall,
To sustain life's rhythm, from the great to the small.

I am Africa, proudly dark-skinned and beautiful,
Melanin-rich, skin kissed by the sun, dutiful,
From the Maasai warriors to the Zulu kings,
Cultures and values that makes a heart sings.

I am Africa, scarred by the slave trade's hand,
As ships sailed away with souls from my land,
The Atlantic's cruel passage, a harrowing tale,
Yet from that dark chapter, my resilience did prevail.

I am Africa, the sleeping lion now awake,
To reclaim my glory, no more to forsake,
I stand tall against any disdain, my destiny to behold,
Socially strong, economically stable, politically bold.

I am Africa, acknowledging and ready to confront my flaws,
To root out corruption and greed, oppressive laws,
United in accountability, good governance, equity, and might,
I march forward with determination, embracing the future's light.

'What A Wonderful World'

Louis Armstrong …
a class by himself
Not Dixie or Jazz
but much deeper felt

Growing better with age
his music enthralls
If fourteen or forty
his melodies call

Both Ella and Ray
are seated out front
As Satchmo delivers
when others exeunt

Timelessly treasured
he’d broken the mold
Of what sound can measure
—and a smile can hold

Thru autumn darkness
Too strange, always when the rain comes
The man in the dark timelessly elegant,
mysterious and silent
Where does he come from ?
Through a black hole ?
Nobody knows him, remains a stranger
Like the passage of darkness
He is printed in black ink
A mystery that no one can solve
Entry in an unknown face

Y/our relationship with ecology and economics
incarnates polypathically,
multisystemically therapeutic,
like positive human relationships
and richly fertile sacred dreams
between DNA's biological unfolding and Vitamin D's
absorbing ways.

Our actively cooperating economic design,
political intent,
power assumptions,
love,
light of truth,
beauty,
multisystemic refueling therapy
for ego and ecohealing community,

Appositionally driven
shriveled by exhausting lose-lose practices
feeding shriven anger,
silos of fear and suffering,
haunted by monopolistic
monochromatic
mindless monocultural nightmares
of Black Hole entropic proportion,
socioeconomic pathology
wilting and suffocating purgation
monotheistic punishment
pantheistic imprisonment.

Black hole reverse-eco-normic competition
never ends with enough,
timelessly continues longing for infinity
of heaven at hand.

Ecological cooperation soon builds diversely inclusive sufficiency,
together,
healthy warm kinda wealthy,
but just right,
pricklygoo co-invested
muse amusing culture.

If we don't fly apart first,
we might learn to fly
and swim
and breathe together,
drinking from the same aerobic/autonomic fountain of knowledge,
in bull-bear fueled nutritional flows and ebbing markets
polyculturally optimized self-with-other resilient design.

EcoTherapy practices peaceful Earth development,
proactively nurturing
co-passionate bipartisan

therapeutic EarthTribal nutrition.

The Still Standing Stone

THE STILL STANDING STONE
------------------------
I stopped, then stared
As its waters dropped
Descending delicately
As a fountain's flood

If parched from thirst
Would have timelessly
Tasted the drink
Sipping slowly the drops
Dripping from the sink

The swift and steady slips
Dipped into a circular creek
As a faucet would fill
The rounded ring of a tub

OH!!! How sedate the rock sat
Gushing clear/crystal streams
Who loudly called me though lipless
With the sweetest of sounds

Ironic how once a man
With rod tapped a boulder
Bursting open a blast
Of rivers rushing over

Not a carnal claim
To coincide or exclaim
How a resting reef
Could rise the recollection
To relish revelation through
The streaming sounds
Swift and steadily sliding
From a sloping stone
That the royal rock
Who rinsed three million mouths
Could remind me so rapidly
It reigns to revive
Still it stands as I sawest it
Wading well and alive

Drifting timelessly a new day has come.

Premium Member Leap Year Beckons Women To Propose

The newest Leap Year beckons women to make a heartfelt move
while promising to be true to the soul and actions
I have knelt down because it's time that I propose to you,
even impromptu, promising to say "I do" with Celtic words: Aoibhneas, Baile.
I love you for your distinct virtues. Please, do not misconstrue this vow that I now renew.

You're likely to be amazed by such words of praise coming from me
But you should know that I love you verily; I've reappraised the situation,
And I'm all aglow when I think of the stargazed dream
Such a marriage could set us free and raise our expectations, we who are Vikings!

If I don't take the chance to propose during our dance, four years will pass again with less romance; thus, it's best I write these words of confession to you with my own pen rather than to keep them suppressed, all the while,
Promising that my vow will be acknowledged by God above who blesses our love, still expressed while un-professed

My mind reaches out to you, boundlessly and timelessly, no matter what you say or do, thereunto, without any borders to keep my love away; I invite your imagination to fly with thoughts of the magnificent adulation and how I'll reveal my heart to you, going on a mountain rendezvous, with vegetables overgrown in your garden where they thrived,

Undervalued for such a long time while nature embraced you in a breakthrough,
Growth arose with the sound of bells nearby--chiming, dancing, and chanting in rhythm, the mountains, all the time, dipping into the valley to meet you in peace.

This year will be Leap Year, it's true, and all I want to do
Is marry you. No more, no less, only to achieve heartfelt happiness.
I'll view you through the misconstrued residue of my own true love.

When a Teacher Retires Part 2

When A Teacher Retires....

Beloved students they suffer a loss and feel deep regret..
For the loss of accumulated knowledge they can no longer get...
It pains me to pen these heartfelt lines when a fellow comrade...
Reaches the end of a long served career of teaching children...

Poignant memories of worthwhile moments are etched timelessly...
Making many a student and colleague shed a passing tear...
For in celebrating a distinguished career that come to end...
It too signifies the breaking of a new dawn for the celebrated one...

With much farewell wishes for golden years to come...
Suffice to include here some simple prose from students so dear...
Bidding goodbye is always tough, Words never prove enough...
Saying goodbye is never simple, To a teacher who's so special...

To a learned friend, dedicated teacher and fellow colleague...
A new world opens like the proverbial oyster to you...
All the best for your future undertakings and may you well prosper..
Like in the Star Trek series, henceforth go where you have not gone before...
