Best Sole Poems
You are as the lightning to the rod of my soul
You move through me in rumbling thunder and torrential rain
You are the cellular sea of my spirit and I can deny you nothing
Enter at will into my being but bring only kindness and light
Tread gently on the sole of me
..... for I am but leather and salt
Like the wild wet wilderness drips with dew and surging waters rip the shores of bucolic meadows so you moved me
Water rushing down the mountain gathering up minerals as it goes so my strength grows and my will surges
And I am a flood of fell and fire and hope
He is coming coming ever coming to me
in his white way and ever wear and tear
his hair is on my hands
and his heart pounds beneath my palm
he in my palm a sailor bold and wild and strong and he will know me and I will know him
Frost of nothing in the silent forest rests and sleeps
the joy of us in the same spaces
I under leaves and damp with snows blanket
under these lies
the thrill of us
in a cottage cabin by the lake
beneath your hand so possessive do I rise up to the morning light
and curl deep into your loving arms
The wind never even touches our boughs
our leaves
so bonded in warmth are we
And who is it this time?
who bares the shield of pain and loss and fear ?
it is you
not I!
Facing the mirror of truth
that email address sent waves through you
so intense the seismic machines in India just went off
no need to deny what I already know in my cells
you love with an intensity that puts my own feeling to shame
and you now know it
what you do with this
is to be seen
seen and seen again and again see me
…see me C me c me soon
or not...it will remain ...the same and immovable...a feast to last ten thousand lifetimes

These shoes no longer fit
Torn stitch
Missing sole
Floating down sun drenched river
I ponder if retrieving It would suit my purpose
Or further enslave the symbolic liberation from foot
Oppressed by lace and tread
Left to walk earth and root
As I force it up between my toes
Leaving trails of heel
Scent of pheromone
Torn shirt
There is nothing to sniff out
Or parties to gather
Only reflective soul
A vestige of the whole
Alongside an old shoe
And buoyant insert

Bestow him the means to bloom
Set free his captive heart,
From the dangers of wilt
From the perils of guilt,
Hardened heart traps,
Rotted soul snares
Troubled eye glares
He shall believe in your beauty
Setting fires to your infinity
He toils and turns to you
Bestow her the means to bloom
Prove to her the sure science of Love
Give her reason to return in your arms
Hold her to your story
Voice the untold allegory
From the fate of death,
Quench her eyes with
Blessed beams of divinity
She will reassure your doubts
What remains cannot break her
The torrents of turbulence are ceaseless
The nights of woe are sacred and ageless
You are endless in them alone
You are complete in them together

I AM HE THE SOULS
I AM HE THE SOULS CREATOR
am he, the creator of life & death
& with life I gift you, your every breath.
But I am he, the opposition himself
For I'm also the devil within my wealth.
I can give or I can take
Away the very life & soul
That you forsake.
So make no presumptions of the powers I reign
For I am he, & in life & death is what I train.
In all good and bad, I posses the two
And I decide on the path that you in life pursue.
Be it I gift you with life and breath
Be it known I also bring the gift of death.
So don't be foolish
nor act out in fear
& in prayer beg to be saved
from the path in sin you steer.
For I look for the strengths
From within that you own.
And with this I make my choices known.
Be it if your true to your way of life
Perhaps I'll be more lenient in the paths of strife.
And in your heart your trust is honest and pure
May you live on with gods eternal life I can assure.

I am writing this poem about you!
It’s not an easy thing to do
because I don’t know you.
But I know there are billions
of people on this planet.
Some will die while I write this and
while you read it others will be born.
Most have two arms,
two legs, and two eyes
one heart, one brain,
one mouth to speak with.
We are all the same.
People are people but
we don’t think alike.
Some of us love each other,
others hate everyone;
most do both unequally –
we choose what we think,
and we think differently.
You are the perfect subject for a poem.
You are the same as everyone
and like no other before you;
unique to yourself, exclusive to none.
You elude the common
and illude the extraordinary.
You are a homophone for the human race.
Are we not all homophones of each other?
A complacence to complaisance,
and effect to an affect, a tear to a tear,
the sole of a soul.
A homophone like you may be too
large a subject for one poem,
too complicated, too complex.
So, I will write about my cat instead,
a car ran over him yesterday
he is dead; and I have, in my fridge,
a half can of cat food in a plastic bag
useless and taking up space
and there is no homophone for that.

she wanted someone to catch her
just in case her wings forgot how to fly
she never realised,
that flying was exactly what they were made for
and to shelter her in times
when she felt lost and alone
that was their sole purpose
she wasted time worrying,
about things that she never had to worry about
until she realised the wings were all she needed

Once there was a man called Dominic, the sole experience!
His wisdom is not by education, by sole experience!
“Grudge, the mighty driving force-
is good in the world of evil”-mighty force!
Bloody no comic is wise by sole experience !

Tremulous soil plays host to fleeing frightened fauna as
cacophonic outpourings shatter my serenity.
Whilst my delicate limbs shake in symphonic sympathy,
spluttering engines of destruction belch caustic black plumes,
burnished blades gouging vicious fissures in Mother's carpet.
Horrified, I bear witness, as immemorial kin
are butchered and unceremoniously hauled away;
their dessicated carcasses destined to line pockets.
Now I stand alone: sole survivor of this massacre.
Left to contemplate my fate, I muse: when will my time come...?

Let us all a sole resolution to make:
The wounded Nature this year us to heal
If we wish more happy years to enjoy
And a new era for mankind to reveal!*

New dentist, he’s called Mister Payne
His image is fixed in my brain
He wore fuzzy green socks
Pink suspenders and crocs
I’m hoping I’ll see him again!
I ogled him from the black chair
His quirky clothes sure made me stare
A red latex G-string
Hardly covered a thing
The rest of his body was bare!
He polished and checked all my teeth
And revealed his first name was Keith
He admired MY gold crocs
Lace basque and red socks
We’re dating tonight on the heath!
