Smirkedy Smirk.( Sung To a Great Song: Yakety Yak.)

He's quick to flash his latest jewel.
They must have brought it by mule.
And while he's dazzling your eyes.
He's quickly saying his goodbyes. Smirkedey Smirk. What a jerk!

He's spotted mermaids from afar.
Quick introductions, hit the bar.
Imbibe it all, babe, it's on me.
What I want later will come free. Smirkedey Smirk. What a jerk!

Next day he's strutting like a stud.
Forget the gym. It's steroids, bud!
As for performance, he's the star.
He'll screech the stop lights in his car. Smirkedey Smirk. What a jerk!

Long, lovely wailing sax solo. ( While all around him plot a discreet murder)
( behind the sand dune? No, under the pier!)
( In the boathouse! Oh, no, he's going to sing!)

My daddy's rich, he's CEO.
I know everyone there is to know.
So keep your hands off me and mine!
My Speedos are designer line. Smirkedey Smirk. WHAT A JERK!

Smirkedey Smirk. Smirkedey Smirk! ( Repeat and fade out. And then, a shot rings out?!...)

Satin's Smirk

Satin's Smirk

Halting ugly thoughts
about you or him or her
 ceases satin’s smirk.

Better Enemy

There is no better enemy than ones’ loving family and friends
For it is they who know all the ifs' and where your troubles begin
No need to look outward but to only look within
The company of those that surprisingly come to mind
They who come around you either often or all the time
They say they’ll support and stand by You _ thick or thin
Truth is they’re only present _ to glorify your end
How else will they assure you’ll see their smirky sideways grin.

You’re prepared for your foes to come from where __ who really knows?
You know only heaven can tell what evils can compel
The force of ill-fate for you to partake
From their greed, jealousy, and hate
They’re astounded by your struggles, your turmoil, and your woes.
All the pleasure earned and reaped by no better foes

Strange isn’t it that when you crawl out from under your bed
No voices of cheers but sneers and jeers heard in its’ stead
Ridicule and mockery, should haves and could haves ...
If I’d known better; I surely would have _
Not confide in most of those around me.
For the last thing, I need _ is a better enemy.

Buddha's Smirk

Palm trees and bamboo tower
above me
What grand stature!
Patches of terra uncensored by grass
 Ferns intertwine, creating a
jungle of green
Deceased, arid palm leaves
rest upon a bed of lively shrub
The humid, Hilo air
annoying, yet, a sense of
warm, maternal embrace
surrounds me
Mr. Buddha, he sits, stone still
So patient
Unmolested by the humidity
or the mosquitoes
An ever so slight grin he presents
that says:
"I don't know it all, but I am content."

For those of you who may see this post and sigh,
I’d like to understand your reaction by asking why.
It's ok that a cat smiling in despair
or a clip art picture with a reference to back hair
can fill ones screen in a feverous hurry?
While someone displays their creativity needs worry,
that some will ridicule their work with disdain.
When all must see your views based in fear, or the nuts who claim
end of times are so near, sorry your scared.
I‘m proud to see words of wisdom or recorded skills shared.
From those willing to ignore all the remarks
sent by said friends degrading your very creative spark.
Just know there’s people who really enjoy
each endeavor taken to express the things that give joy.
Now that I’ve seen ten things pass by I won’t bake,
Another request for a game I don’t play, let me take
this final couplet to now finally say.
I miss you my love as I do every night your away.

i shout hello to
          squirrels playing in the sun
          they all squawk at me
i fall on nettles and yowl
my cat looks on with a smirk

Smug Smirk

I've long wanted to see
myself in truth's light,
the wrong and the right,

but fear scares me so,
pride boastfully says no,
so smugly smirking I go.

Purest Love

I am looking for a chaste Love
It may happens in a smack
in a kiss, but never, never
    in a smirk

Think I've finally figured out people and all their quirks
Not to say I'm immune from how this strange world works
Actually, I'm a prime example
Of common sense, made a shamble
Why can't we go through each day with a dirty big smirk

Fiery Smirk Smote - Day 14

bleeding blushes ooze
damping dessicated drool
punctured passion puke
nauseating nocturnal nude
felon feelings fostered
gaunt gazes murdered

fiery smirk smote
undaunted gift grown
on fervent flow

salient soil pulsed
leering lanky lust
foaming feelings gulped

on vying Valentine
gaunt gazes dine.

Smirk

Smirk followed the view,
I had seen it clear,
It was distasteful and abhorring,
I simply did not want it,
Nevertheless it was happening,
Nose screwed and facial muscles contracted,
My ears were drawn alert to hear something bad,
My eyes narrowed down to pupils,
As eyelids tried to shut the distasteful view,
My brain registered the bad data,
And made me tense from tip to toe,
Are smirks needed?
That depreciates you so bad,
And put you through so much stress,
Well it appears that smirk or not,
Is dependent on you,
Happenings would happen as they would,
Because life activities you cannot control and harness.

I shirk
house work

my spouse
cleans house

I try
she sighs

get out
she shouts

I smirk
no work

I leave
well pleased

all day
I play

I Can See the Devil's Smirk

Remembering those lips I have kissed,
cruel lips of blasphemy
sharp and cold biting deep
but forever ensnaring me
--for I hold them close and won't let go
and they chase it all away
make me forget what I want
always ready for play--
harsh cruel lips in a gaping line
the very devils smirk
stares back from ripped up wrists
for in those lips his bite lurks.
Remembering those lips I have kissed
shard cold biting silver lips
deep inside this skin
I beg you one last kiss.

If You Feel the Need To Smirk

If you feel a need to smirk,
You can't go past a Merc,
One that is fully electric,
Or at least a hybrid, so you won't feel a jerk,
When cheap petrol is all talk.

Engineered with you in mind,
For peace of mind,
They leave others behind.

With standard features you won't believe,
At prices you can quote with some relief,
As you drive one safely round another bend,
You may wish the ride will never end.

Get a Mercedes Benz,
And you will have lots of friends,
When you show them the space you have for long legs,
And other odds and ends.

If you want to up your IQ,
Test drive an EQA,
Something rather nifty,
That you can charge in a jiffy.
