Best Slanders Poems

Cycle of the Sunken

Today you look thin,
Every mirror slanders doves,
Tomorrow you’re fat.

Internal war waged,
Relentless burns subside,
Tranquilize the fear.

Society smears,
Fractured fountations tremble,
Look up for repair.

Premium Member A Never Ending Story

Besides love and happiness
The world is full of sufferings
Political crisis, economic crisis, epidemics and poverty
Slanders, violations, crimes and trafficking
Politicking, hegemony, disputes and wars
A never ending story of sufferings
Hardly any solutions
But becomes great inspiration for
Story tellers
Art pieces
Poems writers
And
An old grandmother's story for the next generation
Of course an unerasable scandal

Soliloquy: To Run Honorably, Or Not To Run Honorably

To run honorably, or not to run honorably--those are my options:
Whether ‘tis wiser in the main to malign
The lives and motives of my foes
Or to defend myself against their charges,
And by defending . . . buoy them? To taint--to smear?
Perhaps. And by these means to goad the field
To err with thoughtless, scurrilous gibes
That mark them petty--a scenario
Most certainly to my gain. To taint--to smear.
To smear, perchance to rouse? O, there’s the risk!
For if I soil their names, what harm may come
Should they then probe my dark impulses
Prompts me to hold. Thus the upshot
Is that defamation circles back.
Why would he brook my lies on fraud and bribes,
That one his bullying ways and past as shameless rake,
This one’s bent for backroom deals, that wife’s excess,
His countenance of graft, this other’s fancy homes
And malnourished dogs near death in household pens,
And not at once retort about my specious provenance,
Which would cut badly? I might slanders sling
And smirch and slime without a conscience tug,
But that the fear of fire coming back,
An incendiary charge from whose blast
No candidate survives, stays my hand
And has me at a loss for what to sow
Than turn to libels that may come back in tens.
Thus caution keeps me playing not to lose;
And thus my sordid plan to lie and bait
Is sidelined now for fear of what I’d reap.
And chicanery of such guile and lure,
A tack denied, puts victory at risk,
And boosts the case for cheating.
Shush now, fool; the cleric starts his homily.

Premium Member A Disguise

A lot of ways to disguise
Beautiful dresses conceals ugliness
Makes us feel confident
Happy and proud
Arts reveals the beauty of the surroundings
Concealing the destruction of man to the nature
Adds pleasure to life
Music, the melodies from heaven
Concealing the sound pollution of the surroundings
Beautifies life
And reveals the inner beauty of man
Literature
Praises or criticizes
Find the meanings of life
And the inner self of man
And the real state of nature
Speeches from the mouth can be everything
It narrates, it speaks out, it advises, it praises
Or it cheats, it exaggerates, it slanders
We may enjoy disguising for the time being
But a disguise may not be successful sometimes
As our hearts and wisdom know everything
And we'll carry the guilts to the last destiny

Ramadhan

O! Sickened soul, rejoice for forgiveness has come,
Eleven months of sin and dine, sawm to you has come,
O! Soul of mine, do not despair and go astray,
Do not follow your whims and desires and ways,
Do not deviate from the truth that has come to you.

O Soul! Decreed upon you is to fast and pray,
To worship your Lord and ask to be led to the right way,
O! Soul of mine, hear what your Lord has to say,
And save yourself from hellfire, regrets and dismay.

Fast! Fast! By the virtue of the command, Fast!
O Souls! healthy and able, from dawn to dusk abstain,
From foods and sins and that which hearts darken,
From gossips, slanders and in prayers do not hasten.

Know the young, the elderly, the menstruating, the ill,
Know the exempted, the pregnant, the breastfeeding,
Those under compulsion, the travelling, the mad,
Know them as free from fasts but on them are debts,
That they need repay later, in line with ayahs of the Quran.

Say in prayer, O God! I for many years sinned,
Lead me O God! To find that night that is blessed,
Say in prostration, forgive me and make me at peace,
With myself and strip me of any severe illness,
That may make me not fast, not stand up in prayer.

Lice Attack

They prepared a squad to ambush
On hairy forests of a human head.
Things were well planned to push
The army on the murky skin-bed.

Army of Lice marched on warily
Towards the places assigned to all.
They had to peep everywhere slyly
Lest they are knocked by Fingernail.

The Larger ones are the commanders
Of this momentous Guerrilla attack.
Smalls will follow forgetting Slanders
And battle with guts, work in Pack.

They furrow the skin to make Trench
So that they can fight and stay secure.
Some would plunge in them to drench
Themselves in the blood for adventure.

These Lice have a Mission to fulfill.
They make slices of nice hair with
Their teeth of Vice like stinging Eel
Or Mice, with ruthless urge beneath.

They have attacked on the Two-footed,
Some would hide and ambush at once,
Some hang by hair until it’s uprooted.
All they do is sip, sting, cling, flounce.

Long Drive

Ignorance and silence,
Preaches and deceits,
Libels and slanders.
Yeah, it gets on my nerves!

Friends are such a turncoats,
They betray, they deceive,
Pretending to be sweet.
Causing emotional wrecks.
The traitors are such a scrape!

Hey! Ask me, why I am sharing this!
Just coz, wanna save you from such a crisis!

Sit in your car and go for a long drive.
Trust me its a therapy of its own kind!
Cool breeze tickling vibrant flowers,
Chirping birds playing in Cumulus clouds,
Strolling couples and brats chilling out,
Laughter and smile spread all around.
A sudden brake, brings you back to your present life.
Tell me, tell me, ‘‘what did you notice thru the drive.’’?

Happiness, energy and pure positive vibes!
Awww! You couldn't notice the negativity,
though it too must be peeping inside!

Here's my friend an important lesson to bring back pride.
“Life too is a long drive,
we can’t get into everything that comes into our sight.”
“step out of your boots, and be a fly on the wall,
You will understand inside out in just a glance.”

“Keep driving through the maze of life,
Observe positivity and strength standing by your side.”
“Not every body strives to thrive, they don’t deserve your time.”
Yes, it hurts every time but every incidence is a lesson of your life,
to make you stronger and wise!

“Keep driving through, soaking in the lessons of your life."
"For you my darling, will always rise.”

'breaking the Trauma Bond'

'Breaking the Trauma Bond'
Do you still like me?
Let me count the ways.
The tired old familiar abuse,
The ugly scowl,
The “get outta here’s!”
“Don’t give me that kind of sh..t!!”

Vile venom heaped upon an unwary lover.
I’ve been sucker punched, again.
Fallen for the antics of yet another
Unwilling, unable, unstable, and uncommitted to anything
Other than his own pain and confusion.
Oh, good!
Someone NEW to hate!

I know what comes next.
The gifts I have given
Treasures I’ve shared,
Regard, respect, admiration, adoration and affection
Willingly offered
And received,
Crudely discarded.
Run through the disposal
Put out with the garbage
Neatly packed and
Hauled off to storage.
Archived with
All the other
Past violations,
Slanders and
Cruel rebuffs.

My body is crushed.
My spine is mangled.
My nerves are seared.
“I don’t NEED any more PAIN!”
I wail
Mentally shuffling through
Well-worn files of
Past encounters.
Rage rises,
The Ogre is demonized.
Humiliated and dis-graced
Tears fall from fresh wounds.

I take refuge
In dreams resplendent
Of laughter, pleasure
Joy and enjoyment
Where wishes of the wisher are fulfilled,
Where food and delight are found.
Fueling fond fantasies of nobility of character,
Decency and courage
An Equal.

Bitter tears cease,
Fury finally fades.
And yet curiously,
The guilt remains.
I choke on the olive branch of forgiveness,
Again.

The Tragedy of President Nixon

'For God's sake, let us sit upon the ground
And tell sad stories of the death of kings*
By flu or common cold or treach'rous reason

O sacred blood, spoil'd by these nasty things
With sharpen'd points in envy hands of treason
High stomac'd are my foes, and full of ire!

Alas, my friends, it is the hunting season
In rage deaf of my plea, hasty on fire
I hear the Congress' howling, barking sound!

I am disgrac'd, impeach'd and baffled here
Purc'd to the soul with slanders venom'd spear!'

Blah Blah Blah ... (Back To Basics)

Who cares about the slanders of olden days?
If today I say I’m willing to die for all man’s sins
And I really, truly mean it
Would you call me the savior of humanity?
Would you call me the Blasphemous antichrist?
Or would you crucify me for believing too much?
I too am molded in His image you know
Those poor ignorant martyrs couldn’t see
I cannot see how much has changed
It’s still the blind leading the blind
I will proceed towards a hasty retreat
I will be the nerd branded in silence
In the circle of popular beliefs
I will be the gay guy of non compliance
With so called opinionated decrees
I might be banished into the dark
But uniquely, I’ll make stars
And proudly call them my own

Premium Member The Ballad of Villonia Beebe, a Life In Three Parts: Part 2

The Middle Years

She'd been wooed by dukes and diplomats
From Nome to Nagasaki,
Kept by mobsters, bishops, bureaucrats,
And a movie mogul's lackey.
She'd been plied with jewels, a fancy car,
Designer gowns and furs
By lots and lots of husbands,
Not one of whom was hers.
For fifteen years she lived among the swank,
But at thirty she had nothing in the bank.

She pawned her diamonds, sold her gowns and her furs,
The car was repossessed 'cause just the payments were hers,
Got her picture in the tabloids with some slanders and slurs,
Villonia Beebe was no one's baby anymore.

She took to pandering and cruising in malls.
A john, a judge, would like to help her, but he hadn't the balls.
She learned it's hard to be a call girl when nobody calls,
Villonia Beebe was no one's baby anymore.

Two more years went by in bars and walking the streets.
She'd like to meet a handsome guy who's loaded and sweet,
So she could settle down and turn that trick into a treat,
And then she'd be somebody's baby once more.

At thirty-two she thought she should get out of "the life",
Go back home to Arkansas and be someone's wife.
She'd soon get back an accent you could cut with a knife
And become a real hillbilly once more.

The Toad Suck men were simple and quite easy to please,
Though the way they buzzed around her made their wives ill at ease.
Still, she made a decent living on her back and her knees,
Villonia Beebe'd come full circle for sure.

Then one night she met Homer, at a barn dance, of course,
A cute and awkward guy who said his nickname was "Horse".
One ride and she's not had one single day of remorse,
ViIllonia Beebe was someone's baby once more.

She sometimes contemplates her life,
When she takes the time to bother,
From beauty queen to trampoline,
From doll to moll to mother.
She doesn't miss the jewels or car at all,
And fur just makes her itch,
But if truth be told, a part of her
Sort of misses being rich.
But Villonia is content now with her lot,
Especially when her "Horse" is hot to trot.

Demon Below - Part One

Adam, his moves are like no other,
thank you for taking the knife out of my back
a dagger I ignored,
until the odor of hate kept pushing the blade deeper than before
Adam, Dear, don't think less of me,
since I will voice my vicious words once more
the way the stranger slicked and slithered in a worm like movement
I was hooked, I admit, biting the apple for the second time
I will no longer bite my tongue,
watch as I hand over the dull knife back to this dark lonely shadow

Blind under the ungaurded tree, a quick voice drew me in
the way it came at me, like a friend holding hands, covering my back,
a paradise in his own mind, a moat of quicksand, my foot sunk in

Offering his game,
a stench I ignored, building friendships, trusting the new employee
I don't run with the sheep,
must I be punished for accepting his bouquet of daisies
Adam, I can't take this, the way he slanders, our name
must I make a fool, from he who's been biten by fools before
I don't wish to go down this road, but I have no choice
these sneaky attacks, are the weakest form of sinning
in a way I kind of feel sad, and wish he bathe his words in chlorine
a reptile, like chameleon, I did not see this one coming.
The only theft that took place, was when the stranger took my friendship
and shook the Devil's hand, in front of me, laughing at the notion
of never having my back, a slap in the face, for luring him my way
Adam, you are my man, you are tall,
like a Lady I will step back and let you take care of it all...

Hollow

Its simply amazing
the way you move your lips
forming words
which fly off
glibly
off your tongue
for a purpose
best known to you

Its simply amazing
the way your wicked mouth
slanders
the souls of your friends and foes alike
while mouthing
sweet nothings in my ear
again for a purpose best known to you alone.

How vacuous is your smile
as your eyes betray
deeper meanings
which are at once sublime
and hollow
beyond words
beyond meaning.

Premium Member The Game Isn'T Over

After election party-hopping is prohibited
Now come the complains and slanders
Gone the frog comes the toad
Bet is no more bet
Defeat is still far away to be admitted
Hustle and bustle carries on after election and sworn in
Maybe settle scores at an opportune moment
Maybe democracy is challenged
Where's justice
Maybe this is the new way of life

I Speak....Do Others Hear?

I speak loud against the noise that wants to stifle my voice. I speak so the echo
of my message can be heard above the clamor of the ordinary or the mundane.
I speak volumes unknown to man but are already applauded in heaven so that
as true wisdom can be heard even by a turned, deaf ear, which has been resting
in the shadow of routine; never seeking greatness, just able to blend in.
I speak....do others hear the eloquence of the passage of verbage or are they still
standing in line to be the first to receive, "Yeah man, I'm with it". I pray not; for if
that is their plight it is sorrowful indeed.
I speak! Loud, enunciating through teeth clenched like fists, so that every word is
phonetically correct and pronounced without flaws so that I am not
misunderstood and what is gained from me is clear.
I speak loud with a husky voice wrapped in honey and a warm blanket so that the
words are soothing and the message is healing to the very core of man who is
fighting not to die in a world where language is slurs and slanders and what
used to be savored as pristine, mot just sounds like distant clanging to this
generation's untrained ears.
I speak to be understood, to overcome my own obstacles, to encourage myself,
to bless the lives of others, to teach the babies at my knee and to share my life;
but when I speak loud, above the waves of twisted idioms and misplaced
silloquies, am I heard?
I t is always my thought to speak not just to be heard but to be understood; and
yet now, I wonder... am I being heard by my precious mother? For it is her
attention I still desire most and that to me is the most dear to my ear.
