Best Sinners Poems
The path to take for all is shown -
saints and sinners; sinners and saints.
God loves us, for we are His own.
The path to take for all is shown.
Since days of old, the truth’s been known.
Though all that’s good the darkness taints,
the path to take for all is shown -
saints and sinners; sinners and saints.

Of Saints And Sinners
Within the sacrificial selfless silence
The seditious spirit stands in defiance
With salient scars of eternal echoes
Amongst the meditating melodious meadows
Sinister sins compound in complexity
Where demon deeds are devoured devilishly
Macabre masters of the medieval mind
Disengaged discipline of the consciously confined
The saint and sinner must coherently co-exist
One restrains of thoughts the other can not resist
Erosive entombment in the somatic solitudes
As both struggle within the manqué multitudes.

Tales of saints and sinners of ancient times
Where human nature becomes the paradigm
And the green eyed monster reared its ugly head
In the dust one brother lay dead
A tale of strength, but man was weak
And from his lips his secret slipped
As his lover's betrayal wreaked
his demise, and all his strength was stripped
Julius Caesar the perpetual king
No saint was he but fate did bring
him to a gruesome end
Lured to his death by a so called friend
Friendships often turn to dust
When betrayal is the sin from those we trust
I've been watching and waiting for awhile..
I lurk with a smirk, a Crocodile.
In a swamp that's swollen with
uncontrollable,
unconsoloble,
&undereducated
people.
They praise a steeple of low standards
controlled by foes but we call them commanders
being a bystandard is the new felon
A once bright but now dim lantern
and no ones been reminding us to refuel
so we feed off each other..
Musical chairs with fools.

-Oscar Wilde
Saints aren’t always saints, sinners aren’t always sinners,
freedom comes with a price even when you’re ready-
Life can be a rummage of contending losers and winners,
yet aloof in the assessment of what is worthy or petty.
Saints are also sinners, sinners are also saints,
who are we to separate them from each other?
Many can take advantage of free will, others show restraint,
then just tell me, who are we to judge one another?
Saints can be saints, just as sinners can be sinners,
forget who we are let’s move past this comparison-
It’s like adjudicating who is fat and who is thinner,
when in reality we should all try to be good Samaritans.
There is a fine line between deeming whose better or worse,
after all, weren’t we all created with the choice of free will?
Yes, there is much evil in the world, but also good of course,
yet, society is unfortunately judged upon ineptness and skill.
To fill this world with notions of superiority or of trespassing-
is like saying there is no difference between hell and the everlasting.

The goodness of God surrounds me every day
It goes before me in all I do
And overwhelms me body and soul
For he loves me unconditionally
Day and night I wallow in His goodness
Even when I go the way of sinners
He never gives up on me
He continues to look out for me
His faithfulness remains sure
For He is a covenant keeping God
And as I journey in this world
He continues to guide my steps
He continues to pamper me
With His goodness
And has even prepared for me
A resting place
After the earthly journey is over
Where I will live with Him forever
Looking into your eyes
I see so much pain
When did it begin
How did it become your sin
Hate can never win
The battle is within
Yet do you feel Love
Do you remember
So many good moments
A choice will be made
I Choose Love...........

_______________
We all must walk with humility through our life,
So tread carefully amongst the saints and sinners;
Evildoers and lowlifes can stab you with a knife,
This world is full of scoundrels and also winners.
So tread carefully amongst the saints and sinners,
Saints have missions to rescue us from darkness;
This world is full of scoundrels and also winners,
The words of sinners hurt us with their starkness.
Saints have missions to rescue us from darkness,
But I have respect for people who are devout;
The words of sinners hurt us with their starkness,
Those bad eggs and wrongdoers leave me in doubt.
But I have respect for people who are devout,
I don't claim to be spotless, but I am still good;
Those bad eggs and wrongdoers leave me in doubt,
Oh, those rascals with their wretched falsehood.
I don't claim to be spotless but I am still good,
Evildoers and lowlifes can stab you with their knife;
Oh, those rascals with their wretched falsehood,
We all must walk with humility through our life.

Third Place
Teenage boys smoke marijuana in their Backyard,
The Priests make the smoke from incense grace the churchyard.
Harlots woo their clients like lovers,
Preachers spread God’s word in street corners.
Cops battle gangsters and fraudsters,
Angels battle demons and monsters.
A Pastor is on the Pulpit serving God’s Meal,
A Rapper is on stage keeping it real.
The D.J feels the club with Jive,
The Choir Hymns make the Temple come Alive.
All thorns seek turning toward the white cloud
To bloom in some green blue and pink flower
And feel the touch of human black eyes loud
Or become leaves moistened in the shower
So do sinners as their compensation
To look like the blue sky and smile likewise
But to most it is a remote ocean
A few can get those crystals of peace ice
This way some may be like Saint Teresa
Others remain both a saint and sinner
As dictated by their amygdala
Some seek healing some himself a healer
We are amalgams of sinner and saint
A black and orange in an image quaint

Saint or sinner? - FOR OSCAR WILDE
It is a question, not a statement
But for your life the former didn't count
How they perceived you was more paramount
Oscar? How painful you had to bend
The lies and twists, the pain
How they made you betray yourself
And crawl through dust, and delve
Your grave, all you did feign.
You remain my hero, all I ever knew
I would never write my poetry,
Be openly gay, because, you see?
Saint nor sinner, that's how I see you.

When you attack another man in the name of your god
You need to stand back and reflect
How did this bitterness become your redress?
A garden filled with such reckless weeds
With mirror and prayer, he above will forgive you
If only you ask
Angels can only hope

SAINTS AND SINNERS
No human being on this planet is perfect
Everyone in blood and flesh errs but the degree varies
Saints or sinners they have their own controversies
But time, place ,circumstance and nature of act…
Holds mirror to tag them as sinners or saints
Today’s sinner might be a saint tomorrow
Today’s saint might be a sinner tomorrow
Society’s decision, its perception, belief system
Most of the time judges them with precision
But story does not conclude here……
Few acts are forbidden, degrading no matter what
Any person who does such is sure to fall
Few acts are pious, brings blessings to all
Any person does this gets elevated in all
The next aspect is the number of good qualities….
Sinners and saints have in them both good and bad
But saint expresses more good over bad
The sinner does the opposite sans remorse
Between a Sinner and Saint there’s only a thin barrier
They don’t stay in water-tight compartments
A pricking conscience is always there in between
Who acts listening to the inner voice would err little
And he will attract huge followers for his genuineness
And would be a saintly person attracting glory
And the one who repeatedly trespasses piling up errs
Will soon be a sinner digging his own grave
For he will attract more hate and curse sans pardon!

I can't hear the words as they come from my mouth
I can't hear the screams as they work their way out
As I write all is seen is a blur and blank moment and
Once recovered sensed the words were written, not
Even a look to see what was written only to know it
Was there.Sleepless night, taunt filled faces horde my
Dreams.Have this made me fall so low no longer am I
Am I able to stand on my own to feet. How many times
Will you make me cry before claiming only to being a
Witness in a crime, your crime. Putting on that face
Working the crowds with amazing easily, how I hate you
Yes all the thing I think about revolve around you.
How many times have I witness myself wound my self
With your blade? As though under a spell doing as order
Without a cry to the world what made me so diligent ?
But no longer can you be a witness,No longer can I be
A witness to these crimes that been committed.Be us both
Sinners be us both lovers be that we both be cursed
We shall witness our sins become whole and the love in
Which we share spread further and further like the flames
Of hades. May there be peace for sinners in the next world.
We are both witnesses and at the same time
We are both sinners one day to become consumed by our
Own darkness how far will we fall until that moment comes?
May we be good may we be bad may we fall may we live may
May we die or carry on we are the Witnesses We are the Sinners
To this world and the next.
Nell killed her spouse Bill by casting a black magic spell
Sister Jill promised she'd never tell
But Jill and Bill secretly shared a flat
And Jill was the town's biggest rat
Now Nell is burning in hell
