Premium Member Not Enough Time

Last January, winter lost it's chill
By May the summer's sun had turned me brown
I watch the leaves late August, change at will
Time's speeding up or am I slowing down?

It brings to mind, a boy, which I once knew
While young, he put a dream up on a shelf
It sat there many years. Oh, how time flew.
While he got sidetracked searching for himself

And then one day while sitting in a swing
His body tired, each passing year a mile
With autumn closing in, he thought of spring
And how time turned his dream into a smile

How quickly through the glass our trickling sand
One day a boy, the next, a tired old man.

Captivated by the flesh
never reaching the buried spirit
captured deep within.
Looking for trust; we are sidetracked by lust.
First, look into the whites of their eyes,
watch their smile, measure their laughter.
For then you shall find what you truly seek.
Smell, the freshness of innocent breath.
And know assuredly
That hate, and selfishness has not
calcified their hearts.
Recognize lust as ignorance,
that ignores spiritual wisdom
and taints the mind with deceit.
As we seek the soul, we are sometimes
captivated by the flesh.
Never reaching the buried spirit
captured deep within.
Be guided not by the glitter,
but let the love of righteousness be your bow…
Aim your arrow STRAIGHT toward the soft marrow of the soul.
If to know true love is your aim, and spiritual peace be your goal.

Wine and Cheese

Offended is an expensive Vintage

lacking precision
I recommend a less sulfuric fermentation

-----------Varietals-------------

grapes of wrath
so much to offer
each glass
examine
swirl
smell
breathe and savor
see legs of the vine
tannins to taste

or we can
over drink
over think
get wasted and offended
tick clocks fast
amidst boiling stew
issues skewed by our own jaded views

we can be peaceful
yet perceived to push hate

our temple may become damaged
via friendly fire

and as for poets...
we may be the single most egotistical, emotional, tremendously divine
individuals of all time and we know it!

we laugh when skies cry, seek solitude as joyful crowds arrive
we write and write 'till pens run dry of ink

we, the Swiss cheese...

we pretend to be bulletproof, whilst writhing inside
we juxtapose
we justify
we jigsaw puzzle brothers and muzzle others
we control situations then
recite white lies to
monopolize conversation
all the while remaining dedicated to being offended
with loose change and pretentious

and boy we've figured out the whole Multi-Verse because
"My Deity can beat up your Deity!
yet, let me not be the last fool to promise you,
we are so miniscule, the god's will be too busy swinging sticks on the golf links
to visit you before the toil of your sore drama is through

we must pave our way, keeping heads clear and high
stamping urgency upon trusting self

Mister Bob Marley sang it best with: "EVERYTHINGS GONNA BE ALRIGHT!"

shhh...LISTEN

upon this short enlightening journey
exists a plethora of big aspirations
we'll fail to grasp if our hopes swirl in the vortex of black clouds
sidetracked
offended at misunderstandings and minute words
burning midnight oil on the spoil.

Premium Member The Journey of Your Lips- Adult Content

I lie back as the journey of your lips begins
First, my forehead is blessed
With little kisses
To be shared with each closed eyelid
Fluttering above my lips for a moment
Your lips just brush against mine
I draw in a ragged breath
And am devoured by your mouth
Passionate conquerors
Your lips subdue mine
Claiming
Taming
Teasing
Pleasing
Exciting
And I simply give in
And just as my lips prepare to
Counter the advance
With mounting fervor
The travelers move on
Anxious to conquer new ground…

The length of my neck
Is traversed
Your lips leaving a wet trail
As they pause here and there
Letting your thirsty tongue taste
And I sigh…

As the journey continues
I keep my eyes closed tight
For I know the coming terrain
I know the path your lips will take
For it is a favorite route
First down the valley between the
Two soft mounds of my breasts
Savoring being caught in this warm passageway
That reverberates with the thundering underground tremors
Of my heart
Kisses are left all along the way
And then the ascent to the left……
Reaching the top….
Sending first a messenger to scout the apex
The tongue dutifully explores
The gathering little ridges…
Which form an ever heightening peak
And then it invites the lips to take in
The summit
Oh….the ecstasy of twin peaks being claimed
One after the other…..again and again
Multiple side trips
A favorite stopping place on the journey
Filled with thrilling sights and sounds
The journey continues…

A quick dip in the navel…
The tongue takes
Before the lips get sidetracked
Not spending time to kiss
But to hover over the curving lines
Of the waist
Moving up and down
Along the sides
The tongue at times
Marking the ground
As though sacred
On the final descent
Down….down….
To the well laid out oasis
Where there is wetness to quench…

A fountain awaits
For the travelers to unenclose the dam
At the source
Coaxing the floodgates
To release
The stream
To satisfy the thirst
With a taste of paradise…

The verdant oasis
A welcoming treat
Is thoroughly plundered
The travelers
Giddy with the find
Relishing the fruit
And then
Fully satisfied
They bid farewell
With one last kiss
Knowing
That the journey of my lips
On the terrain of your body
That journey
Is about to begin…

Pause

Pause...
Inhale. Exhale...
You can't undo things that have been already done.
You can't make decisions when they don't make a sound.
You can't turn back when you're already there...
You can't surpass time without feeling despair.
I can't just stop thinking like this.
What is life going to be?
Taking two roads at a time, will it be blissful and free?
I was trying to be rightful taking my own place.
But that didn't work!
I shut my good pace.
If there will only be time to allow me to take a few steps backward,
I'd like to recreate and keep moving towards...
I'm on the other side of the road, sidetracked and inflicted.
What will it be if I'll take the other?
Will it make a difference?
The art of decision-making mesmerized me!
It gave me a picture of myself but that isn't something that I want to be. Dignified and strong, is this how I was made of?
But I wish to be more! Something that I ever dreamed of.

Birdwatcher, Sidetracked

From my wheel chair facing their veranda
I could not distinguish the girl next door.
She looked somewhat like my niece, Miranda,
except for her hair halfway to the floor.
(Miranda always kept her hair shorter.)

I turned the music down so I could hear
the conversation that was taking place.
Although I consider myself a seer
who reads expressions on a person’s face,
I discerned the voice of a reporter -

well-known correspondent on radio.
She posed some questions, most of which I missed.
Once she turned her head towards me, just so
and I caught one, clearly getting her gist.
“Is your neighbor watching us from her deck?”

Taking the hint, I retreated inside,
unaware of how obvious I’d been.
It was then I saw what she had descried.
Eavesdropping had not caused her chagrin,
‘twas the field glasses hanging ‘round my neck.

Premium Member A Message From Nobody

Hi everybody, I am nobody; Why do all the somebodies keep jacking my... junk.
Nothing I say changes or sways opinions: Stop looking for LINES WITH the punch.
I am out to lunch, just a li'l old nobody, a termagant, with a rant. I am no-one:
Why is someone getting paid to monitor?
What I say, in no way could effect change...So why are you checking and holding my post hostage with all this blockage ...? What a waste of money and time.
I do not put thoughts on anyone's mind.
Nor do I give sight to the blind. Gees-us, I am just a no-one, that anyone listens to. Nor adheres to, or cheers for-Or care for - Or even cares too.
So please let me speak freely and stop thinking that I am making quantum leaps; When we” nobodies” are in a huddle, trying to jump over this little puddle.

The “Somebodies” are making asses out of the masses”.
You enjoy seeing me beat my wings against the bars. Or like a lab rat going through your maze to take the bait, you’d like to see me get Irate: (for more than four hours, our mainstream team) got played out of position, berated us, with a football hiatus. Black, brown, and white united for a non-cause, adrenaline screaming at the same screen.

You want to know my reaction, is that how you get satisfaction?... Well "beat your feet to the beat" of my jaws jabbing -
The somebodies are setting traps.
But I am a smart rat. I am nobody, and nobody didn’t go for that.! Even if you could catch my drift.

Someone went to great lengths to create that rift.
Everyone cannot see what I am saying; Could never, “see what I am saying”, because what I am saying is only for those who need to know!
"Do you see what I am saying". “I am just saying”.

Those of you who hear me "Holla":
But don't take the bait, or get sidetracked, stay focused, “pay attention to what's not being mentioned”.

Check and see how many moves were made when you were looking in the other direction. Always remember the greatest weapon they have is the “Weapon of Mass Distraction” Which, stops everyone's actions, and counteractions.!
“that is all I am saying”
A message from nobody.

Boot it up baby cause the search is on top
We looking for filler and none of that slop
The stuff we call primo, Chivas and that sensie
The limo and jetplane, jewels and clemency
A forgiveness of feeling and numbing inside
Boot it up baby cause its time for the ride

The quicker the better, this buzz can be built
A double, a triple, a bong that’s on stilt
A temporary party but not without out
Just warming up the inside to later bring it on out
Music, our gift, is the fender blender too
Cause its shaking up my insides like a fender blender do
I’m saying and seeing that I know you, I do
I love you, I love you, you’re one of the crew
The quicker the better, this buzz can be built
All in it together, not yet on the tilt

A pace not well planned but revealed in act
Of saying and showing a reversal of tact
So good and so fine I see in my mind
My being so cool, I’m one of a kind
Great dancer and orator and intelligent me
I’m putting me out there so all will see
See and believe are these moments of time
Never remembered but time sublime
The quicker the better, this buzz can be built
The sooner the better, I get on the tilt

A buzz I am sure of without any doubt
Has surrounded my seeing and being en route
To the site I was searching for, trying to find
With my sensie and Chivas and all of its kind
Great party with lookers and movers and shakers
Entirely convinced of our purpose as takers
No memories of giving or helping a few
Just words that I love you, you’re one of the crew
Quicker and better this buzz was built
Later than sooner I made it to tilt

Boot it up baby cause the search is on top
We looking for filler and none of that slop
Time with out purpose or meaning of thought
Efforts at nothing or taking a shot

Not alone wanting a difference to make
Waiting and watching and looking for break
Filler is fountain of Faith within heart
Belief in the gesture of Love from the start
Boot it up baby cause the search is the top
Found is the reason, a Love that won’t stop.

And what is that you have with you,
my tiny insect friend?
Such ambition I behold,
as you crawl across my hand

You carry such a heavy load,
for your larder, I suppose.
You were sidetracked from your road,
while on your way to earth below

Were you to bite me, it will sting
and I would think you quite unkind
If you're my friend, then I will bring
a second chance for you to find

A deal I'll make, but you must know
You mustn't bite me, if you please....
Then I'll put you down, and let you go
to your home beneath the trees

Edsel Bob

Edsel car, Bobs poem,

Heard of em,
but never bloody saw a one,
sort of bloody albatross,
a Goonie bird a walking,
flap n flop and sometimes drop,
as the Yanks did say from Gaum ....

got sidetracked hey,
on ya cobber Bob, ....of mine...Don

Seems the Yanks Air force were having trouble,
with bloody albatross,
coming in for landing ,
when the Yanks were landing cos,
runways blocked with birds across,
a stumbling and a falling,
at goonie birds was kinda cross,
on Guam they kept returning...

The eagle landed and proudly placed a feather.
Into the cool, silent lunar sand.
Man hasn't been back in a long time.
It's a difficult and expensive journey.
People become bored with repetition.
Funding dips- starships explode.
Governments get sidetracked by oil and war.

Mars is our new mistress.
An icy redhead, skulls tattooed on her chest.
We want to tempt gravity again.
Plant rows of corn and humanity
Swirl our toes in the cold red sand.
But Mars is nothing but a stepmother.
Uninviting, with a starry cold face.
She'll never provide warmth or much of anything.

But what about Mother Earth?
Our beautiful blue-eyed mother
Garnished with evergreen and water.
Miracles of life around every bend.
Providing everything for her selfish
pigheaded, war children.
Forever the faithful guardian.
What about Mother Earth!
